Disclaimer: I do not in any way, shape, or form, own any of the original characters, objects, and plot lines that Mrs. J. included in her books. I do however own all new characters, plots, and objects included in my fanfiction books.

A/N: Okay, the big question. Should I continue my story, even though the real book five is out? Tell me what you think by emailing me at or tell me in a review. Also, if you are not already on the mailing list for when chapters come out and would like to be email me or say so in a review. Thanks!

Sorry it took so long with the updating, but school is finally out, and exams and homework and tests and such do not come into place for another two and a half months. This chapter took a while to get out cause I had been gone for a week a little back…  Yeah! Go W.C.2003!!!!

Anyway, this chapter is dedicated to my good friend G.B. who always keeps me writing. Yeah, so this is in honor of her birthday! Go G.B.!!!!

Chapter 28

Harry screamed as he awoke; panting with the excursion of trying to breath at the same time. Within thirty seconds Sirius was next to his bed, looking as though a bomb had just gone off.

“Harry, what’s wrong?” he panted, having run over from his room so quickly.

“Vision….” Harry muttered calming down quietly. He sat up and tried to get out of bed, but Sirius stopped him.

“Can’t you just contact Albus from in bed, or tell me and I’ll relay the message?”

“Pensive…” Harry spoke with one word.

“I’ll grab it.” Sirius got up and went over to the fireplace where Harry’s gifts were piled.

“I still haven’t had Albus teach me though.” Harry spoke remembering. “Let’s go see him.”

“Harry, its late.”

“Its okay, I can go by myself.”

“That’s even worse!”

“Keep it down will ya Padfoot, I don’t want to wake the whole Order hall, if they haven’t already been woke yet by me screaming.”

“Don’t worry about them. Come on, I just told Albus we’re on our way, so we can go now.”

“No need, I was out anyway…” came Albus’ voice from the door. From the dark appeared the tall form of the headmaster and head of the Order of the Phoenix.

“Do you ever sleep Albus?” Sirius wondered aloud.

“Yes, conveniently during the day sometimes as well.” Albus spoke, his eyes twinkling.

“Sirius said you had another vision just now Albus said coming over and standing with Sirius next to his bed.

“Yes, with Voldemort and the elemental mage.”

“Ah yes, a most important category of information.”

“And I was thinking if you showed me how to put it in the pensive, you could see everything, and not just me telling you.”

“Yes, and I have not yet had the chance to show you how to do so. We can do that right now if you wish.”

“Yeah.”

Harry motioned to the pensive, which was in his lap.

“It’s quite easy, I probably could have just told you in the note. But who knows why some things turn the way they do? Now all you have to do it concentrate as hard as possible on the whole dream and then think of transferring it into the pensive. You could just do it with your wand with a simple wordless incantation, but I felt it might be easier to do with your mental capabilities. You should first try something you remember fondly of, just to get the hang of it.”

Harry thought of the night before; just hanging out looking at pictures from the album Colin had sent him with his friends. They had told Sirius many stories of their life at Hogwarts.

He concentrated intensely on a five-minute period of this, and then imagined it being transferred into the whispy green depths of the pensive. To his happiness it appeared. Sirius grinned proudly and Albus nodded with a smile.

“Now try it with your vision.”

Harry concentrated on the un-fond memory of the vision, and transferred it into the pensive.

“Good work Harry.”

“Yeah, are you going to go in the memory and see right now?”

“I can, or I can take it to my office view it and give the pensive back later.”

“You could just give it back later. Unless Sirius wants to look at it now?” Harry looked questioningly at his godfather. Sirius shook his head and said “later.”

Sirius looked like he was contemplating something deeply.

“What are you thinking about?” Harry asked.

“I gave you a sleeping potion!”

“Yeah, it didn’t work.”

The two both looked questioningly at Albus for any thought s, but Albus had already left.

“We’ll ask him later.” Sirius said sitting on his godson’s bed. “Are you okay?”

“Fine.” Harry lied. Sirius eyed him.

“Harry, I can tell you’re lying.” Sirius said seriously.

“Okay, no use getting around you. I’m just kind of sore since Voldemort tortured him, and…”

Sirius waited in silence for him to continue.

“…and along with feeling it, its hard watching an innocent person get hurt just because they won’t turn evil…” Harry said finally telling Sirius the truth.

Sirius moved so he was sitting next to Harry. He reached over and pulled his godson into a tight fatherly embrace.

Harry let himself be pulled in by the person he considered his father. After a while he continued to lay his head on his godfather’s chest. All of the sudden he felt a weight jump up onto him. It curled up between the boy and his godfather.

“Snuffles…” Sirius muttered softly. But when he looked down, he realized Harry had fallen asleep.

Sirius realized he was still sleepy, so he summoned a pillow up behind him and shifted into a more comfortable place, but kept Harry on his chest.

Sirius smiled as drifted off to sleep. This is what he wanted life to always be like. But that wouldn’t be until; Voldemort defeated…

“I have called this meeting because we need to decided an important issue….”

Harry sat in one of the smaller Order of the Phoenix meeting rooms with the other team leaders, Mr. Weasley the Minister of Magic, and most of the teachers of Hogwarts. Dumbledore had suddenly called the meeting. It was a couple days after the school term had started, and Harry and his friends were back in classes.

arryHAfter everyone was settled Dumbledore began.

“I have called this meeting so that I might propose a new program. As you all very well know we have three school aged witches and wizards among the Order.” Dumbledore spoke. “All three are most valuable assets to our continuing war against the dark forces of Voldemort. I might now ask what you would think of a program starting at Hogwarts that will train and begin to include certain talented and selected students of Hogwarts for the Order of the Phoenix.”

There was silence throughout the room. Dumbledore sat back down in his seat smiling. Harry thought for a moment. Ron and Hermione were great members of the Order and certainly talented. If they could get more students trained and capable….

“I think it’s a wonderful idea.” Harry said breaking the silence and standing. Everyone in the room gave him their attention. “Myself, Ron, and Hermione I feel have truly shown what student-aged witches and wizards are capable of.

“If we could train people from maybe fifth year and up, they could either join the Order after a year or even sooner, or train until they graduate. Either way we would be training students to protect themselves, others, their families, and others against the forces of Voldemort. We could put them through a modified Order of the Phoenix training class. This wouldn’t have to just include the dueling classes which can still include younger students, but weapons, advanced dueling, hand to hand combat, basic physical activity, and advanced fighting magic. This would prepare everyone for the Order of the Phoenix.

“Even if they are not suited to join the Order of the Phoenix, they can still be prepared to be a witch or wizard of the real world. Not a world their mind can imagine full of peace, and happiness; but the real world; one filled with darkness and evil; a world that needs help…”

Harry wondered what everyone would think as he sat down. Albus gave him a long look and smiled.

“That is exactly as I visioned it and more Harry. Thank you for your support.”

“I agree with it as well.” Sirius said.

Remus nodded as well.

“We’ll help teach.” Menolly and Elizabeth said.

“I think I speak for all of the teachers when I say we’ll offer as much assistance in advanced and practical magic as we can.” McGonagall spoke.

There were nods of agreement from all of the teachers, even Snape, Harry’s uncle, nodded, too which Harry smiled greatly at.

“We could even set up an advanced course for special students for spying and other secret Order works.” Gina spoke.

“And advanced healing…” Clarissa added.

“We’ll we should start drafting the program so I can explain it to the board of student governors…” Arthur said grinning. “I’m sure they’ll love another change that I support. Though its not like they can do something about it….”

Albus smiled greatly. “Great. If there are no more issues, this meeting is at its conclusion.”

As everyone exited Albus said. “Harry, Arthur, if you wouldn’t mind staying behind.”

“I’ll be there in a second Sirius.” Harry said. Sirius nodded and continued talking with Remus outside the room.

Harry walked over to where Albus and Arthur were standing.

“Harry I would greatly like it if you, Ron, and Hermione could work with me in developing this program. Would you be interested, since you sounded enthusiastic about it during the duration of the meeting.”

“Sure.”

“How about we have a meeting at my office at 3 o’clock today. Would that give you enough time to tell Ron and Hermione in whatever class they might be in?”

“Yeah.”

“Thanks, and are you free tonight for another lesson?”

Harry nodded.

“After dinner then.”

Then Albus turned to Arthur. Harry to this as his moment to leave.

When he got outside the room, Sirius and Remus were still talking. Sirius turned.

“What did Albus need?”

“He wants me, Ron, and Hermione to work on the program with him this after noon at three.”

“I’m sure you three will make the program better than anyone expected.”

“Thanks Padfoot, I need to go get Ron and Hermione then.”

“Okay, we’ll come with you since I do have a classes to teach. Classes were only canceled for this morning….”

“What class do you have this afternoon?”

“I’m teaching third and fifth years.”

“What houses.”

“Slytherin and Hufflepuff.”

“We’ll I’ll bet you have fun with the Slytherins….” Harry said smirking.

“Of course, we’re practicing hexing and hex-blocking…. Something could just so happen to go wrong…”

They laughed as the Portkeyed back to Hogwarts. Sirius had to immediately leave to go teach his third year Hufflepuff class Defense Against the Dark Arts. Harry knew Hermione would be in Arithmancy at the moment, so went to the classroom, which was on the fourth floor. The students were from fifth year and up, though there were not very many of them; about fifteen in all. Harry spotted Hermione explaining some homework to a seventh year. Harry smiled; that was Hermione for you.

Harry walked over and waited until Hermione had finished explaining the problem. Hermione turned.

“Hello Harry how was the meeting?”

“Great Hermione, that’s what I’ve come to talk to you about. We need to go to Albus’ office at three, so is it okay for you to leave a little early from class?”

“Yeah, since I am advanced enough.”

“Yeah, I noticed.” Harry said glancing at the seventh year student she just helped.

“See you then.” Hermione called as Harry left to go up to the Divination tower where he would be going to Divination class.

When Harry arrived at the tower, the students were just beginning to climb up the steps into the tower. He spotted Ron behind the later, obviously mentally talking with someone.

“Who you chatting with?” Harry said coming up behind Ron who jumped.

“Don’t scare me like that Harry. Actually I was asking Sirius if you were back yet.”

“Well, now you know. By the way, we need to leave Divination early a little before 3 o’clock for a meeting with Dumbledore.”

“What are we doing?”

“I’ll explain during the down time in this class, when I can talk to you and Hermione mentally at the same time. Though Hermione might not like us disturbing her learning time. Since homework is fun…”

“Maybe not though since she thinks the Order of the Phoenix is more important. At least she has her priorities straight this time.”

Harry laughed, fondly remembering the time in their first year when Hermione had said that

. Harry mimicked Hermione’s voice “‘I’m going to bed before either one of you come up with another clever idea to get us killed… or worse… expelled!’”

Harry and Ron broke into fits of laughter until they noticed they were the only ones left standing by the ladder, to which they quickly climbed up, making it just in time for class to start.

“Today we will be working on dreams and visions…” Aurora started.

Most of which she explained Harry already knew, and Ron didn’t care. So Harry started to talk mentally to Ron and Hermione at the same time.

“…So he wants the three of us to help organize and supervise the program.”

“Awesome.” Said Ron.

“This is so exciting….” Hermione thought loudly.

“Opps, we forgot to ask Aurora to leave early…” Ron said.

“We can ask her later, she won’t mind. At least I think she won’t…”

“Harry, Ron,” came a whisper from behind them. “If you wouldn’t mind, I would like you to start working on the assignment, or at least pretend your listening better instead of staring off when you have these conversations.

Harry and Ron jumped. Harry turned quickly. Aurora was leaning down whispering to them. He glanced around. The rest of the class was busily working; looking up things in books, writing notes, and interpreting dreams…

“Um, sorry….” Harry and Ron said at the same time.

“Its okay, just mind what I said. At least look as if your doing something….” She smiled warmly, and the two relaxed.

“By the way, we have to meet the headmaster at three so we’ll need to leave a little early…”

“Yes, and that would be what you were talking about with Hermione…”

A/N: hopefully I’ll get another chapter up soon… yay!
