A/N: IT'S BEEN FOREVER! Part of it's the fact that I'm a huge procrastinator, and then family stuff, and all this other crap that happened. I'm sorry if this is short, but I wanted to give you something. So, go ahead and read if you'd like.

Rose in the Dark Chapter 13: Kiddies

Rose's POV

After the scarring event of catching a naked lady, we made our way to Nana's Room. Out of all of these people, I was guessing that she was the oldest. When we walked inside, I saw an old lady knitting. She looked up at me and smiled, before glaring at Luigi. A shiver went down my back as I grabbed Luigi's hand.

"Are you alright?" He asked as he looked at me.

"Fine." I answered with a small smile.

"Are you the two little kiddies that have been catching my family?" She asked as she knit her never-ending scarf.

"Maybe so." I said as I looked at the bowl of yarn sitting next to us.

"You wouldn't catch a dear old lady, would you?" She asked.

"I can't see anything, so maybe." Luigi answered. I quickly reached for one of the balls of yarn and hurled it at her face. It hit her, and she screeched before her heart appeared.

"Catch her Luigi!" I said before my green capped friend vacuumed her up. The two of us high fived and smiled. "That's how we do it."

"Hey Rose," Luigi said as he looked towards the floor. "Um, do you," His face grew redder as he went along. "Do you wanna d-d-date me?" I laughed at his stutter.

"Yes I wanna date you." I answered with a smile. He looked up at me with a confused look.

"Really?" He asked.

"Of course I do." I said as I pulled him into a hug. "I'll be your girlfriend Luigi. Right now we need to focus on getting out of here." He nodded and took the key out of the blue chest that had appeared. It lead to the twins room.

"More children?" Luigi asked.

"There seem to be tons of kiddies in this place." I said. We quietly made our way back down the hallway that we started out on. We came across the door that was locked and placed the key in. When we walked in, it reminded me of the room my brothers had when they were little.

The twins appeared with a ton of boxes. "There seem to be tons of people coming in here." One said.

"Yes. I mean, these two couldn't take our whole family out alone." The other boy replied. The two of them shared a laugh. "Or did you?"

"Well-" I cut Luigi off.

"Hells yeah we did!" I answered. "And if you think that you're gonna scare me, you're sadly mistaken my small friends."

"Are you trying to piss us off?" One asked.

"Or are you just stupid?" The other finished.

"A little bit of both." Luigi joked. I just softly hit him in the arm. "I'm kidding."

"We just came here to get his brother back, and that's what we intend to do." I told them.

"So you don't want to play hide and seek with us?" One asked.

"You just want to fight?" The other added.

"That's not very smart." The first one scolded.

"It's not smart to keep your guard down." I replied as I sucked the first twin up. I spun the hose around in my hand.

"Why-why'd you do that?" The other one asked. "HE NEVER DID ANYTHING TO YOU!" A random car appeared and the kid jumped in it.

"Well I just feel like getting out of this mansion, and the first thing I need to do is get my friend." I told him. "And to do that, I need to get rid of all of you."

"R-Rose, are you feeling alright?" Luigi asked me. He put a hand on my shoulder.

"I'm fine." I assured him. "I just want to get out of here. I've gotten hurt way too many times to be safe, and I want to make sure Mario's okay." Luigi nodded. "But that's a nice toy car you have there." I got down on my knees and held onto the car the kid was riding in. While I had him distracted, Luigi sucked up the little kid.

"That's that." Luigi said as he brushed his hands together. "Now what?"
