Chapter rated~ PG-13 Author's Note~ This is my first the Final Fantasy fan fic so be nice. This chapter is narrated by our hero, Squall. I know a lot of you must be mad cause Rinoa is dead but at least I went for the sad and decent death and not the torture, painful and awful one. P.S. Let me explain something, Espers from FFIII/FFVI will be here, it isnt exactly a crossover, the characters are not included only the espers and monsters. All will be explained in due time.

5 years have passed and I can't take it anymore. For now it has been my only reason to live since I lost her. What did I lose? It's hard to even speak it but for the sake of my future I will. After we defeated Ultimecia, Seifer was proved to be innocent and that his mind was in the sorceress's control and not his own. Yeah right. Selphie went back to Trabia Garden and Irvine followed. They didn't admit they were a couple but they didn't have to. Zell was the same, hadn't changed. Seifer was accepted back to Balamb. Like if I cared. And me and Rinoa were also back at Balamb.

We were a steady couple. Oh how I loved her. Since the begining I did love her. She made me smile when I didn't want to and most of all she made me care. We got married 3 years ago. Then she became pregnant... Those were the happiest moments of my life... The greatest... Then I lost her... I lost everything. I lost... my life. She died giving birth to our son and worst of all our son died too.

I couldnt bear it. It was too much pain. I spent most of my time in my room and I never talked. I went back to being the same Squall that I always was. Laguna, my father and Ellone were the only one's I talked to but not a lot. I did talk to Cid from time to time and to Matron. But the only person, other than them, that would ever talk to me now and actually get words out of me was gone. Quistis. A week after I got married she was sent on a mission, alone. A top secret mission that not even Matron knew about only Cid. She hadn't returned since then.

Cid did send people to search for her but I was the only one who noticed that he wasn't worried about her. Some people found her car, in the middle of the desert, empty. A lot of people took her for dead and Cid didn't even argue. He would just put a sad face like if there was something he wanted to say yet couldnt. Today I was going to get those words out of him, even if it was the last thing I did. I heard Angelo barking. I forgot to feed him. Yes, I kept Angelo. He was Rinoa's dog and now he had become mine. I fed him and put on my uniform heading to talk to Cid.

As I was walking I heard Zell calling me.

"Yo, Squall! Wait up!"he said.

I stoped. I wasn't so quiet anymore, I talked, but no one expected a smile from me.

"What?"I asked.

"Where you going?"he asked.

"To talk to Headmaster, Cid"I said.

"What for? Is it about Quistis again?"he asked.

I groaned. "Yeah"I said.

"Well whatever happens, we'll back you up?"said Zell.

"We?"I asked.

"Yeah, hey, even if Selphie is in Trabia give her a call and she'll come flashing here"said Zell.

He was right. Selphie always called. She always sent us emails, especially cards, she would fill up my inbox. I enjoyed it, I admit it.

I sighed. "Well Im going now"I said.

"Good luck man"he said as he kept walking. While I was headed for the elevator Seifer was looking at me with an angry face. I didnt know what his problem was and I didnt care. I got on the elevator and headed for Cid's office. I knocked.

"Come in"he said.

I went in and there he was, reading some papers, writting, just being Cid.

"What can I do for you Squall?"asked Cid.

"I wanted to ask permision to take my team to search for Quistis"I said keeping a straight face.

He remained quiet for a while.

"Again? We have sent enough search parties to find her and there has been no sign of her"he said.

"Maybe they didn't search well enough"I said keeping my straight face.

"Yes. They did. I am the last person to want to accept it but maybe Quistis is-"he said but I cut him off before he could even say the word.

"No, Quistis is not dead. You of all people should know she's alive! Maybe she's lost and she needs our help"I said.

"Im sorry Squall, your team will not be granted any permission for any search"he said.

I wanted to argue but I didnt. I just left and threw the door as hard as I could. When I was going to get in the elevator I saw the last person I wanted to see.

"So, did he let you?"said Seifer.

"What do you care?"I asked.

"I dont, I just want to know"said Seifer.

"No."I said.

Seifer walked by me toward Cid's office and I was going to follow but I didnt. I got in the elevator and got in the ragnarok. He didnt give me permision to look for Quistis but he didnt say anything about not leaving Balamb. I had all my GF's. I didn't equip them all. Only Shiva, Quetzacotl, Leviathan, Doomtrain and Eden. I had magic, GF and the item ability on. I was headed for the only place I could go right now.

The Island closest to hell. When I got mad I fought. I was tired of fighting that stupid T-Rex so I went to look for the Red Dragon. At least he was a challange. I landed Ragnarok in the middle of the island and started walking around. I fought with a couple of Hexadragons, waiting for a Red Dragon to appear. Suddenly something appeared. A monster I had never seen before. It was a dragon, a blue dragon.

((Ok those who havent played Final Fantasy III or VI dont know it, dont worry, it will all be explained in due time and it is not a crossover, of characters at least))

I did a scan on it, it worked at least. Blue Dragon, Lv-65, HP-26,900 and it didnt say anything else. It was like it was letting me know what it wanted me to know, to scare me. I used Leviathan on it but it missed, the monster hit me with something that only left me with half of my HP. I threw Eden at it but it also missed. I knew this was it. It gave me one last attack that left me with 1 HP. I was going to use Curaga when a little girl appeared.

"Don't worry, I'll help!"she said.

The girl had blonde hair, blue eyes and white skin. She was so small, how could she help?

"Ramuh!"she yelled. An old man appeared and threw a blinding light at it. Thunder... Thunder hurt it. I put Curaga on myself. She called on the old man again. I called on Quetzacotl.

It must have been a long battle but we finished the monster. Me and... a little girl.

"You shouldn't be wondering around here. You're lucky you have friends too"she said.

I was confused. I shouldnt be wondering around here? It should be the other way around.

"My name is Zoe, what's yours?"asked Zoe.

"Squall Leonhart"I said.

"I like your friends, they're nice"she said.

"My friends?"I asked.

"Yeah, especially the blue woman. She says her name is Shiva, is that true?"she asked.

I was more confused than ever. How did she know Shiva?? She giggled a little bit.

"Mr. Cactus is funny"she said.

I was about to give up. I was really confused now, really confused. I didnt even Junction Jumbo Cactus. What was going on?!

"What are you?"I asked.

"What do you mean, what am I? Ohh I get it, just cause I can talk to your friends doesnt mean Im a monster! Im just diferent"she said with a smile.

She was wearing a bow tieing her hair in a ponytail and a little pink dress.

"Im sorry, Im just confused"I said.

"Dont worry, I understand. Mr. Diablos said to tell you to junction him and junction the ability of Enc-none"she said.

I stared at her. How did she know?

"Dont look at me like that! Thats what he told me!!!"she said backing away from me.

I did was she said.

"Now we can go home, come on, I want you to meet my mom"she said.

We walked and walked. I couldnt believe a little girl could know all that, I wanted to know what her *friends* were and most of all I wanted to know how someone could live here. Suddenly I saw it, it was like a cabin. It was near the shore. No wonder I didnt see it before.

"Mommy! Im home"she said in a playful voice as she let me in her house. It was a normal house. Fire place, furniture, no T.V., no lights, everything normal.

I began to follow the kid to what seemed a green house. A green house? here? Her mother must really be a miracle worker. I saw a garden, flowers, of all kinds. Suddenly I saw the kid jumping into a woman's arms. I couldnt see the woman cause she was kneeling down. As I got closer I got a glimpse of her but couldnt quite see well.

Suddenly she let go of the kid and we looked at eachother. I couldnt believe it.

"Oh Im sorry, Mommy that's Squall. Squall meet my mom"said Zoe.
