Original Game~ Final Fantasy 8 Story~ Lost Soul... Chapter~ 13- A to be continued... Chapter rated~ PG-13 Author's Note~ This is my first the Final Fantasy fan fic so be nice. In this chapter I'm going to be narrating. Maybe Squall isn't going to narrate for a while, who knows. I know a lot of you must be mad cause Rinoa is dead but at least I went for the sad and decent death and not the torture, painful and awful one.

"What?"said Quistis coldly.

"Your daughter must come with me"said Legend.

"Why?!"said Squall.

"No one can battle the possesion of a traveler but she fought it and she was nothing but a baby. She is the one I need either way it is too late now, I was inside her for too long, she has become one of me. An Ethian."said Legend.

"What is an Ethian?"said Quistis.

"An Ethian is like a Guardian Force, an esper, we belong in all dimensions, anywhere, everywhere. There are many of us but they are all trappped. I have no intention on freeing them, they are not evil or good. They are like the wind, they just exist. There is one crystal that holds us together and that crystal is the *Zevelier* a diamond so bright, so forbidden it will turn any good man, bad. Either way this is not the case. Your daughter needs to come with me to be educated the proper way, this is a rare case for the child is human but it is a chance no Ethian can let go"said Legend.

"Im not letting you take my baby"said Quistis.

"You dont have a choice"said Legend.

"Yes we do! We can fight you!"said Squall.

"Please, do not waste your time with a battle. It will do no good, even if I did want you to defeat me you can't... We cannot die..."said Legend.

"There's a first time for everything"said Quistis.

"Mom... please stop"said Zoe.

Finally all eyes were on Zoe, all thoughts of battle forgotten because of the look of a child.

"Mom, let me go. Don't fight Mss. Legend, it's no use. You can't beat her, I will come back someday mom. Someday. But let her teach me mom, let her educate me. I promise I'll come back."said Zoe.

"I can't... I won't let you..."said Quistis.

"Mom, please. It's not like I won't come back mom. I will. I just won't come back soon..."said Zoe.

"How much time does the training take?"said Quistis.

"I need to talk it to the Elders, they choose the time, the place and the dimension."said Legend.

"Can you train her here?"said Squall.

"They are the one's that choose. We cannot demand anything, we can only obey"said Legend.

"How many of your kind are there?"said Squall.

"Count the dimensions and you will know how many there are. Some dimensions don't have an Ethian, some do. And if you wish to know how many dimensions there are, then count the stars and maybe you will know"said Legend.

Quistis kneeled in front of Zoe.

"Promise me you'll come back. That you'll be good, you'll write or call or anything. Just promise me I'll see you again"said Quistis hugging her now.

"I promise I'll come back... don't worry, you'll always be my mom no matter what"said Zoe.

Zoe let go of Quistis and walked toward Squall and hugged him too.

"Take care of my mum"said Zoe.

Squall smiled and nodded.

Zoe walked toward Legend and stood by her side.

"I'm ready"said Zoe.

"Then we leave, farewell my friends, maybe someday... we will meet again"said Legend.

With that they disapeared and the tower began to tremble. Quistis felt the espers leave their side and all the items that belonged to their dimension. Soon enough all that was left was the crystal part of the tower. Squall saw a stair appear to the top of the crystal tower. Maybe a way out. They walked up, not saying a word. As soon as they got on top they couldn't see the Ragnarok but they saw a blue ship in the air.

Stairs came down from the ship and Squall let Quistis get on first. They didnt know who they were but they couldnt care right now. As soon as they got on the ship they saw familiar faces.

Selphie, Xu, Irvine and Zell.

Selphie searched the room for the girl. Quistis threw herself on the floor and started crying. Squall bent down to hold her. Selphie had already told Zell about the girl and had brought the picture with her.

Xu bent down near Quistis.

"What happened?"said Xu.

Quistis just looked up and began to cry again.

"We know about Zoe, Quistis"said Selphie, not knowing how it would affect her.

Quistis began crying worse now.

"Quistis... she'll come back..."said Squall.

"Who'll come back?"said Xu.

Squall looked at Quistis for permission and Quistis nodded. Squall told everything to the gang, leaving them speechless. Selphie put the ship near Balamb Garden and looked at Quistis.

"I bet she will come back. I promise"said Selphie.

"What are we going to do? I mean we can't tell anyone?"said Zell.

"No. Only Cid. This cant get out, ok?"said Quistis.

"Not even Seifer?"said Xu.

"No, not even Seifer..."said Quistis.

They all went in and reported everything to Cid. Quistis now was like Squall, quiet, sad... grieving. Time passed and she became normal. Seifer never knew about it and it was told that she was lost in the island. Nothing more, nothing less.

After a while it was known that she and Squall were a serious couple and they got married. It didnt take long for them to decide to have a kid, it was Squall's idea because he thought Quistis needed it. They had a boy and named him Darren. He was born on July 7. Soon enough Quistis went back to normal but everyday she hoped Zoe would return, but nothing, nothing...

Cid then retired and asked for Squall to take his place. Squall tried to convince him to stay but Cid wanted to retire and Squall wasn't going to say no since everyone else wanted him to be the Headmaster. Selphie became the headmaster of Trabia Garden and it took her a lot of arguements and torture to Irvine so he would propose. Seifer became headmaster of Galbadia Garden and no one know how he pulled that off.

Years have passed now, long years, a misery to Quistis but she only let her pain show when no one could be there to witness it. Darren was now 17 years old. About to take the seed's exam and Zoe hadn't returned... but someone had returned.

A woman, she appeared at Balamb Garden shortly after our hero's adventure. She had black long hair, she never let anyone see her eyes. She was called the Gothic Creep. Everyone became more scared when she actually became an instructor. Instructor Velsier. Vylette Velsier. She specialized in everything. But her weapon of choice was a spear.

But she was never of importance to anyone only the part where you had to pass her class. A lot of things had changed but Quistis misery had not. She hid it and was happy about her son but she missed Zoe.... The others acted like she didnt even exist but to Quistis it wasn't so easy to act... she couldnt pretend...
