Shilpa knew that all she wanted to do was avoid Dr. Armaan Malik at all costs. No matter how hard it was, that was all she wanted to do. She came here to become a successful doctor, not fall in love, especially not be a rebound girl. She knew that Armaan was only using her to make Riddhima think he had moved on. But then again, it was not like Riddhima had moved on, it was still obvious she had feelings for Armaan. But at least she wanted to be a good wife for Sid, Shilpa was pretty sure that Riddhima had some feelings for Sid as well. So Riddhima had 2 guys, and Shilpa had none, well except for JP, but he wasn't really her type. She was walking down the corridor, apparently Dr. Kriti needed to see her. While walking she spotted Armaan.
Oh no Shilpa, ab kya karoon? I can't turn back, because then I would be late. Just ignore him, and he will go away. Remember your plan is to avoid him, not make any contact.
Shilpa continued to walk, she kept looking straight but when it came to walking past Armaan she looked down.
"Shilpa!"
She just continued to walk, she swiftly turned out of his sight. He sighed, how was he supposed to get Shilpa to stop ignoring him? He decided to hunt down Sid. He found him in the canteen with JP and Jiggy.
"Sid, yaar, I need your help."
"With..."
"How can I get Shilpa's forgiveness? She won't even look at me."
"I wonder."
He hit Sid.
"Ow, okay fine I'll help."
"Thanks."
"Let me think. If I was a girl how should a guy beg for forgiveness from me?"
"Not just any girl Shilpa."
"IDEA!"
Sid explained the idea to Armaan.
"You're sure it will work."
"Please Shilpa might be different but she is still a girl."
"This better work, or else..."
"Or else what?"
"You don't want to know."
"Okay, let's go."

That afternoon, Shilpa made her way towards her office. Yes, she finally had an office. Apparently some of the other doctors had recommended her and now she had an office. It was just a couple of days before she did some of her exams and became a proper doctor, not just an intern. Nothing could ruin the mood she was in. As she walked down the hall way everybody was smiling and staring at her. She didn't know what was going on. Was she doing something she didn't know about? Did she do something? She just kept on walking on when she saw Sid, JP, and Jiggy waiting outside her office. She gave them a suspicious look.
"Sid what is going on?"
"What do you mean?"
"Why is everyone staring at me, and why are you waiting outside my office?"
"Because I wanted to congratulate you."
"You were on of the doctors who recommended me weren't you."
"Actually there was only 1 doctor that recommended you. They kept on pestering Dr. Kriti till she said yes. It wasn't me though, not that I wouldn't have recommended you. But it wasn't me."
Shilpa stared at him, if it wasn't Sid then who. She shrugged her shoulders then opened the door to her office. She was so shocked by the surprised she let out a tiny scream. She didn't know what to do, or what to say? Whether she was supposed to be happy or shocked.
"Oh My God."
"Do you like it?"
She looked to where the voice came from.
"You did all of this."
"For you."
Shilpa blushed.
"Kyun?"
"Because you're not talking to me, and you've decided to avoid me."
"How did you know that?"
"Seriously Shilpa, the only other person who knows you well other than Sid is me. You have all the signs."
"So let me get this straight, you did all of this so that I'll forgive you."
"Uh yeah."
"That is so sweet."
Shilpa went to pinch his cheek, but he grabbed her hand first. They just stood like that for a few seconds. Then he let go.
"So am I forgiven."
"Let me see... NO."
"What? Why?"
"Because you told Sid my secret. If you could tell Sid, then who else would you tell."
"Please Shilpa, it was a mistake."
"Ya how many more mistakes can you make."
Shilpa made to get out of the office. But Armaan got there before her.
"Let me go Armaan."
"No"
"Armaan."
"Shilpa, I'm not letting you go."
Shilpa ducked under his arm and started to run. He started to run after her. As she was running Sid was just turning the corner. She ran directly into him, thankfully he caught her. Armaan just stared at the 2 of them.
What is going on between them? How come he is always there when she falls, that used to be my job?
Just as Armaan thought this, Riddhima walked towards them. She stopped at the sight of Shilpa is Sid's arms. What was Shilpa doing in her husband's arms? She cleared her throat and Shilpa immediately got out of Sid's arms.
"What is going on here?"
"Kuch nehi, Dr. Riddhima. I was just going to the canteen, do you want anything?"
"No thank you Dr. Shilpa."
"What about you Sid?"
"Uh a sandwich please."
"Of course, I'll get it and come."
Shilpa started to walk away.
"I'll help you Dr. Shilpa."
"No it's okay. I can manage."
"It's no trouble."
"On second thought Shilpa I'll come with you."
"Me too."
All 4 of them walked to the canteen. Shilpa found this really awkward. There was Shilpa who had feelings for Armaan, who was in love with Riddhima, who has feelings for Sid and Armaan, who loves Riddhima. They reached the canteen and bought their lunch. They sat in silence till they were interrupted by Dr. Kriti.
"Shilpa, Armaan I was looking for you."
"Yes Dr. Kriti."
"Actually I could use all four of your help with this."
Sid and Riddhima looked at her.
"There is a child patient that is refusing to take his medicines and because of this, the rest of them aren't taking them. I have tried everything. If I remember right Shilpa you got them to eat it last time, they said you told them some love story."
Shilpa's head shot up and looked at Armaan, who looked back at her. When Shilpa found out the story was Armaan's she never mentioned it again.
"So I was wondering if you could do that again."
"But ma'am why do you need us."
"Because you 3 are senior doctors, and I'm sure Shilpa could use your help."
The 3 senior doctors nodded their heads and the four of them headed to the children's ward. As soon as the children saw Shilpa they all ran to her.
"Didi, tell us the rest of story?"
"Yes please do. Does the guy get the girl?"
Shilpa looked at Armaan.
"I'm sorry children but I do not the ending of the story, it is still unfinished, but as soon as it happens I'll tell you."
"Then we won't take our medicines."
"How about another story?"
"No we only want to hear this story."
Shilpa gave the senior doctors a pleading look. Sid got an idea and whispered in Shilpa's ear. She lit up like a match. She ran out of the room and got a stereo and pressed play. ( watch?v=NEHg_E_QGPQ)

Sid joined Shilpa in singing and dancing. Armaan and Riddhima watched them. Shilpa and Sid brought the children outside, and it started raining. Sid and Shilpa danced in the rain. Just as the song ended Shilpa slipped and fell. As Sid went to catch her Armaan was faster. He caught her and she had her arms around his neck. They just stared into each other's eyes. Armaan realized that everyone was watching them and let go. Shilpa stood up and turned to face the children.
"Now who will take their medicines."
All the children put their hand up, and Shilpa led them back into the hospital.
Riddhima followed her and Sid was about to back in when Armaan pulled him back.
"Sid yaar, your plan didn't work."
"I know."
"What do you mean you know?"
"Armaan tell me the truth. Why do you really want Shilpa to forgive you? Because normally you wouldn't care what she thinks."
"Uh..."
"I know that you were using Shilpa to make Riddhima think that you were over her, and so does Shilpa. That's why she isn't forgiving you."
"Sid I ca-"
"No listen. Shilpa is my best friend, and if anything happened to her I would never forgive myself. So tell me this now why do you want her to forgive you so much?"
"I don't know. Recently I have been feeling wierd around her. Whenever she is with you, I feel strange. I just want to her to stop avoiding me."
"Well you better get your priorities straight because otherwise you're going to break someone's heart."
And with that he walked away, leaving Armaan to think about what just happened.
