Keroro never thought he would call Pekopon his home. He never thought he would have to defend it against his own species. He also never thought he could fall in love with a pekoponian. Yeah, it just isn't his d

A/N:
Okay, so this is my very first fanfiction. Well, sort of. I've written many fanfiction almost all with intentions of posting, yet I either never got around to finishing them, or I decided my work wasn't good enough to be posted. Please, no flames.
This story may contain heavy fluff or slight fowl language, hence the rating. This story contains homosexual themes involving romance between a minor and a Keronian. (erm... Space frog.) If you don't like it, please don't - Okay, nevermind, I really want you to read it either way.
Also, this is an extremely short chapter. In fact, I wouldn't even consider it a chapter at all. It's really more of a prologue. Or even an narrative-ish introduction. In fact, I considered not even posting it on its own at all. However, I really wanted to get the story up soon so I'd have to finish it.
Updates should come at least once or twice a week, seeing as I have a very empty schedule. I'm expecting each update (that does not include today) to be at least 2k words. Let's make this story at least 50k words in total, right?

Prologue
The smoke billowed out of the cone-shaped chimney like a snake out of a hole come the end of winter. It was lazy, slow in its outcoming; as though almost too tired to continue on its path.
While most of the other houses all throughout the crowded city of Tokyo were lit with paper lantern and candle-filled pumpkins, this particular house was covered in shadow, as though cloaking itself in it. Passerby children paid no heed to a house with no light; one that held no chance of candy or treats of any sort.
It was fortunate they did not wander up, for if they had, surely they would have thought it was a terrible trick.
Inside, after all, five aliens lay in wait, their eyes flickering to eachother occasionally.
In fact, one of these five groggy aliens is the subject of out story today, and he will be sure not to disappoint.
On an ending note, A/N:
Sorry again for the ridiculously short chapter tonight, guys! I promise, the next one will be ridiculously long to make up for it. Hopefully I will have that posted tomorrow by 7:00pm EST, but if schoolwork is too heavy, it might be later. I won't sleep Saturday night unless/until it is posted.
End of Note.
