"A flower shop?!" Neil yelled.
The shop was at the corner of a
crossway road, in the middle of the town. Many stores had 'Sponsored by
Concorde' on them.
"Well, Where else are they gonna get
their flowers. A grocery store?" Eva retorted.
"What about Walmart. They have a
outdoor section with like, stones, flowers, plants, soil, p-" Neil was stopped
by Eva yelling.
The shop was at the corner of a
crossway road, in the middle of the town. Many stores had 'Sponsored by
Concorde' on them.
"SHUT UP! Let's just fine the momento
and get the HELL outta here."
"Ok, Geez…"
The two walked toward the store, finding
out that they were closed.
"Uh, Why is this closed if they were
going to buy flowers." Neil asked.
"Neil…I think I know why…" Eva pointed
to the road, the memory started going forward again and a red convertible
cougar raced down the road, Junes mother in the front seat, April and June in
the back. The light at the crossway flipped red. The Cougar failed to stop and
crashed into a purple minivan. The two cars went sliding into the front of a
clothing store, (Which most likely had Concorde's clothing in it), breaking the
beautiful glass window.
"I'm guessing that's how her mom died.
It happened so fast…" Neil said.
"April… She was in there." Eva
whispered.
"Well, she's dead now, so it won't
really matter." Neil said.
Eva then grew furious, She loved April,
and no one could ever stop that from getting on her nerves about her. She
started to yell and pushed Neil down on the memories ground, a hard thud was
heard and Neil dodged a punch from Eva, whose hand hit the concrete and stung
from the hard hit.
"EVA! What the HELL is wrong with you!
Is it what I said about April?" Neil asked.
"Yea, Yea it is. So just Fucking shut
up, and keep it to yourself. Oh, And by the way, My niece, My little sister's daughter,
My first patient, IS April. So anything you said about her, is like saying it
to my fucking face." Eva retorted.
Neil stared. He had no idea what just
happened. And he wondered-
"And that's why i was sad earlier,
Neil, It's the anniversary of her death. So just fucking shut the hell up." It
was like she read his mind.
Neil got up, without saying a word, and
walked off, Eva following.
"Found the momento." Neil said to Eva.
The momento was a shard of glass that a
bloody, half-conscious June, who the first thing she saw, was that glass, and
touched it, letting it go once she was fully knocked out.
"Ergh, you sure." Eva said, as if she
calmed down and was hiding her anger.
Neil nodded and activated the momento.
The two were off to a older memory, where June was six, and she was in a
hospital.
"I think I know where this is going…"
Eva said.
