A/N: I had an idea a while back and thought I would write a story. To my Life Long Gone fans, a new chapter is coming soon, don't worry. I have to get the Avengers DVD to continue the story. To my Melissa Harris/ Clint fans, i'm open to ideas, and a new chapter is coming, and should be done by Saturday. Soooo, I'm thinking that this story should be a Robert/OC, and i'm taking submissions for OCs to be featured in this story. Sooo, heres the prolauge, next chapter coming soon! -Cherry
It came early in the morning, a loud rumbling. I look back on that time and wonder if there was any sense of foreshadowing of when they came. But I comb through the day, the month, and even the year before to see if there is any sense of doubt that the American government would keep peace.
Or at least protect the country.
Until that day, I had kept the thought that the American People weren't the best at keeping its country safe from war. There hasn't been a war held on American soil since the War of 1812, the one that everyone forgot. Of course, like and idiot, I believed in the great deeds of our forefathers and crap. I guess I had a nice life before that day, before the rumbling began, I was just coming in after staying at a friends house, I was knocked over by the rumbling, and was struck in horror as some American jets were split and shrapnel shredded the top of the Seattle space needle.
Naturally it must have been about 7 in the morning but I don't remember. I bet some people will remember this for the rest of their lives, like me. I don't see how they could forget this. One does not forget the start of the Red Dawn.
