Chapter 5:

''Kaa how about some Reshiram eggs'' said Pitch as Kaa licked his lips. ''No'' said Phoebe but Kaa ran over to the edge. He was about to fall but he was strapped to a harness. As he was lowered down to where the nest was. As he hit his head on one of the rocks. He slither over to the nest. As he began to bite on the first egg. ''Ow my tooth'' said Kaa as he left markings at one of the eggs.

He bite into another egg. ''Not again I thought these eggs were to taste good not hard probably raw'' he said as he rolled the eggs to the side. As he used his tail to launch them off the edge. As he got back in the harness as Pitch lowered him up as he hit his head again. Once he was gone Basil peeked out from his hiding place. ''Oh right guys he is gone'' said Basil from the nesting turning to where he hid the real Reshiram eggs. He had swap them with rocks he had found.

That moment he heard something land on the nest. ''Alright ladies where are you'' said a familliar voice as Basil was glad to hear it was Jacquimo. ''Jacquimo'' said Basil peering out as he heard Basil's voice. Which frighten Jacquimo so much he fell off the nest. ''JacquimoI am glad to see you help me with these'' said Basil rolling the eggs out. ''Pitch has Reshiram, the girl, Justin and Isabella'' said Basil as his face fell saying her name as he sat on the egg when it came to a stop. ''Isabella oh Basil you were suppose to look out for her I knew this is bad I have to go after them'' said Jacquimo about to fly off. ''Jacquimo there are some chicks here that need you'' said Basil.

''Really'' said Jacquimo as Basil patted one of the eggs with his hand. ''Oh no I know what you are thinking it is no'' said Jacquimo. Later as Basil had left as Jacquimo sat on top of the eggs on the nest. ''Hey don't move in there'' said Jacquimo. While trapped in the back of the truck Reshiram, Phoebe, Justin and Isabella sat unhappily of their situation. ''Now don't worry we will get out of this'' said Justin trying to cheer them up. ''That is right Basil is on his way'' said Isabella trying to brighten the mood. As both stared at her feeling unsure. ''Nice going Isabella'' said Justin. ''I wasn't making it up you don't know Basil as well as I do he will never give up'' said Isabella happily. Then she stared longing out the bars.

As it was getting dark as Basil was on the trail as he stopped dead in his tracks. For he had come across a sleeping boar. He wondered what to do as he remembered what Justin had said. As he felt his bravery coming through him as he walked over to the boar. It woke to find Basil in front of it's face. It tried to attack but Basil held on.

''Now look I want no trouble till and when we get there got that'' said Basil as the boar nodded frighten of the little mouse's courage. ''Goood now get'' said Basil as he sat on top of the boar's nose as it raced off. While Pitch rdoe to where the cliff was. As Phoebe was tied to a hook as she was being lifted up. As Reshiram, Justin and Isabella watched helpless to do anything. As Phoebe was about to be dropped into the water when everything in the truck went off. As the boar that had brought Basil ran out. ''Kaa'' said Pitch as he wondered what he was wanted for. ''You noticed there was a boar in my truck you better find out the problem'' said Pitch.

Kaa who had shook his head slither in. As Basil who was hiding behind the wheel as he had taken out the keys. As Kaa smeeled him out as he was staring face to face. As Basil ran being chased by the snake. Isabella and Justin had heard the noise. ''Look it is Basil'' said Isabella happily. ''Hey it is over here mate'' said Justin as Basil threw them the keys. Justin reached out to catch them but they slipped as Isabella caught them as she began to unlock them. As Reshiram gave a cry once they were free heading for Phoebe hoping she could save her friend. As Basil ran to where Pitch was with Kaa after him.

''Kaa you idiot'' said Pitch as Kaa flew on top of him. As he covered Pitch's face as he tripped into the he was attached by the crocodiles. As he fought them off. ''Yes I did'' said Pitch as he saw Kaa waving to him on a rock. As Pitch saw he was heading down the waterfall. While Basil rushed to Phoebe as he tried to hold the rope that was breaking. As both him and Phoebe fell as Basil close his eyes. As Reshiram who arrived on time as Phoebe got on her back. ''Hey there little guy it is alright'' said Phoebe holding Basil in one of her hands.

He opened his eyes to find him safe on Reshiram as he was lifted down onto Reshiram's back as Isabella and Justin rushed up to him. ''Oh Basil you wonderful you were a hero darling'' said Isabella hugging him. ''Isabella before anything else dangerous happens I want to ask you will you be my wife'' asked Basil taking out the ring. ''Oh Basil course I will'' said Isabella happily embracing. As he turned to see Justin smiling at him. ''Well done mate'' said Justin congration him. ''Alright Reshiram head home'' said Phoebe as they headed back to Phoebe's house. While below Jacquimo was still on the nest. ''Hey Basil, Isabella anybody, that mother has to come back soon oh no'' said Jacquimo as he heard the eggs hatching. ''Stay there hey you are cute'' said Jacquimo as he began to touch one of them as it bit his finger. 'Ow'' yelled Jacquimo.
