Prologue

Madrigal was created by the Goddess, Rhisis. Rhisis created a world where nature is bountiful and life is present. Together with her five subordinate gods, she had created a masterpiece.

The world of Madrigal then had the need for inhabitants. Humans and monsters coexisted peacefully until one day...

Shade, the second highest god of Rhisis' council, declared war against the humans. Shade really despised humans because of their greed for power and their corruptions. Rhisis knew that humans can change so she let them be. Shade on the other hand decided the opposite.

Monsters reigned havoc and terror throughout the land. Almost a year passed when Shade declared war that Rhisis finally took action. She sent the other gods to train young humans and turn them into heroes. The heroes defeated the monsters but Shade didn't give up. She fled to the lowest core of Madrigal, Volkane, and plotted revenge on Rhisis and the humans.

Many years passed then. Peace came back to Madrigal. But Shade never gave up.

After many years of watching, she found five keys that might lead Rhisis to destruction. She kept her eyes open to the five young women who would be directly cross paths with Rhisis and ordered her servants to guard and protect them.

The five young women each gained a rightful title as years went by. They became the roses of Shade's garden. They are Shade's Roses.

Now let's begin the story of the first to catch Shade's eyes, the White Rose, Aesthine Rose Cabrelli.
