The Beginning

Miley Stewart has just walked into the office of her new school, after moving out here for her new career goal to be a pop star. She sits and waits for the assistant principle to hand her the class schedule for the semester.

"Here you go Miley. Your class schedule." Assistant principle Wiley says

"Thank you Mrs. Wiley!" Miley exclaimed.

"Demi is waiting outside the office for you to show you around," says Mrs. Wiley

"Thank you." Miley gets up and heads out to meet Demi. As she comes out she nearly runs over a beautiful raven haired beauty. "Eh-Ah … sorry," she stammers.

"That's alright," Demi says. "I'm supposed to meet someone here."

"That is probably me. I'm Miley."

"Nice to meet you Miley. I'm Demi. I like the accent that you have. Where are you from?"

"I'm from Tennessee," Miley said

"Let's see what you have for classes, Mr. Bronston for math, Miss Weber for AP English, Miss Atrophe for gym, Mr. Ordiorne for chemistry, Mrs. Angelus for home economics, and Mrs. Prisms for world history. This is so cool we have math, english, and world history together. My friend Lilly, you will love her by the way, has chemistry and gym with you. You will meet her at lunch with me since we have the same lunch break, but you will be on your own for Home Ec."

"That's cool."

"Well here is our first class. Math uhhgg!" exclaimed Demi.

Classes that morning went by pretty smoothly. She had a lot of catching up to do since Miley came in late for the semester. She decided that going to the school library after her last class would be a good way to get caught up. Sitting there with Demi and Lilly she wondered if they would like to join her and possibly help if needed. "Hey would you like to join me in the library after last class to help me catch up on some of the assignments?"

"Sure!" Demi and Lilly chimed in unison.

"Great you guys are terrific!"

After her last class and getting even more assignments to catch up on, she dumped her books on the table with a loud THUD making the girls jump in their seats. "Oh my gosh Miley! Trying to give us a heart attack," Lilly declared.

"Sorry Lilly Demi. My teachers gave a lot of work to go over and catch up on. I hope I'm not here all night trying to get most of it done. Uuuhhhhgggggg!" Miley states as she drops her head on the table with a bang.

"Keep banging your head on the table like that and you will have a hard time remembering your own name." Demi replied.

After a few hours of working on her home work with her two friends and getting the occasional help from them she decided to take a break and look around the library. As she roamed the shelves of the fiction section she saw an old looking book. After taking it off the shelf she returned to the table with it and started looking through it. To her it looked like a bunch of different poems that were in there. She looked at the front page again and it said BOOK OF SHADOWS. Hmm that's a strange name for a book of poems, she thought to herself. She put the book in her bag and decided to go home and look at more thoroughly later. As Miley was leaving a blonde haired girl comes out of the place she was hiding and smiles to herself and orbs out.

"How was school today sweetheart?" Robbie asks.

"Shoot me now so we can this over with now dad."

"That bad huh?"

"It's not that it was bad it's just that all my teachers decided to give all of the work at once so that I can catch up to where everyone else is at."

"Well if you need any help bud let me know. I'll be here when you need me."

"Okay, thanks!" as she leans up and gives him a kiss on the cheek. "I'm going upstairs to work on some more."

"Kay, bud. Dinner will be done here shortly. Why don't you get cleaned up and come back down for dinner that way you can focus with a full stomach. And on your way up there do you mind letting your brother know."

"Sure and that sounds like a good idea dad. I'll be right down."

As she was entering her room she saw her brother, Jackson or Jerkson depending on her mood, and let him know dinner was just about ready. As he ran down the stairs she just shook her head. Always thinking with his stomach, she thought. During dinner the three talked about their days. Miley speaks up, "hey dad. You mind if I have a couple of friends over tomorrow to work on homework together?"

"I don't mind at all bud. Go right ahead. There won't be any guys right?"

Miley rolls her eyes as she answers her father, "no there won't be any guys dad. Just Demi, Lilly, and I."

"Great! A house of girls. I'll be at the beach then dad." Jackson stated.

"Whatever Jerkson."

After Miley and Jackson finished the dishes they go their separate ways to their rooms. Miley pulls out all of the work that she was given and gets to work.

The next morning Miley meets up with Demi and Lilly at the corner of the block so they could walk together to school. "Do you want to come over to my place to work on some homework again today?" Miley asks Demi and Lilly.

"That sounds good," Demi replied.

"Not right after for me. I have soccer practice today. I can stop by afterwards say around 430, if that's still alright?" Lilley said.

"That's fine then. We'll probably still be working on homework still," said Demi.

"I know I will be," Miley stated.

They got to their respective first classes as the bell rang. At lunch they were talking about some of the cute boys that were around the table and in the school. Miley was thinking about something else and didn't hear what Lilly asked her till there was a hand waved in her face. "Hhhmm, What?" Miley said as she got out of her day dream.

"I asked you if there are any cute guys here that have gotten your attention?" Lilly repeated.

Without even realizing what she said next until it was too late, Miley says, "I'm not really into guys to tell you the truth." She then clamped her hands over her mouth and looked at her to friends. They both stared at Miley with shocked expressions.

"Wow … that's um … wow!" Demi stammered

"You aren't going to hate me now, are you?" Miley asked. That seemed to know them both out of the shock that they were in.

"NO!" they both exclaimed together. This made Miley jump a bit, but also felt relieved. The next question however did make her look at her friends though. "So then got your eyes on any of the girls then?" Lilly asked. Just as she was about to answer, one she didn't want to yet, the bell rang and Miley said she needed to get to her next class and took off. "OK fine then don't answer us," Demi shouted at her. They both shook their heads and went off to their next class as well.

After school Demi and Miley went to Miley's house and stared on their homework. Around 430 Lilley showed up at the door. Robbie answered the door, "hello and who might you be?"

"I'm Lilly. Is Miley here?"

"Yes, she is along with your other friend Demi. They are upstairs in her room, first door on the left."

"Thanks Mr. Stewart."

"Please call me Rob."

"Cool." Lilley went upstairs and joined her friends with the homework. After a couple of hours Lilley got bored and noticed the book that Miley picked up from the library yesterday. "Hey what's this?" she picked it up and looked at the front cover. It had three elongated ovals that were joined together with a circle going through all of them.

"Oh that, dunno saw it at the library and brought it home with me. Looks like a collection of poems."

Lilley inspected it closer and opened to the first page. She read the first one:

HEAR NOW THE WORDS OF THE WITCHES

THE SECRETS WE HIDE IN THE NIGHT

THOLDEST OF THE GODS ARE INVOKED HERE

THE GREAT WORK OF MAGIC IS SOUGHT

I CALL UPON THE ANCIENT POWER

BRING YOUR POWERS TO WE SISTERS THREE

WE WANT THE POWER GIVE US THE POWER

"Miley this a book of….."
