The story of Cinderella is a classic. But the one we were told while we were brought up was wrong. Cinderella was actually the most stubborn girl I've ever met and Prince Charming was a total jerk. And everyone fails to credit me for making everything fall into the final ever after. But don't worry. Fairy God Mothers always tell the truth. Sometimes.

Before Cinder

Once upon a time there was an orphan. She was known for the bright blueness of her eyes, the flowing blonde hair and her small, beautiful face. But of all she was known for, the biggest was that someone left the beautiful three-year-old on Cardolton Adoption Center's door step.
Her true name was Cynthia Ellison, and she knew nothing but her name. She was adopted by Lady Lariviere, a ghastly widow with two daughters, Jolé and Margaré. The two were twins and fought over anything and everything. The only thing they actually did agree on was that Cynthia was unworthy to be in their upper class family.
She was given her more well-known name at the age of eight whenever she stood by the fire place and requested she be therefore known as Cindy, not "servant girl" as Margaré liked to call her. At this demand from the small blonde Jolé laughed and pushed her step-sister into the ashes of the burned out fire. The twins laughed and since then she was forever known as Cinder.
And me? I'm a friend of Cinder's. We were neighbors since she moved over to my school district almost ten years later. Of course I never knew how close we would become over the course of one year.
I became Cindy's savior. Her female knight in shining armor.
Her fairy god mother. Of course nobody ever cared enough to learn my name.
Terranee. And this, fellow reader, is the real story of my dear friend Cindy.
Or as I liked to call her, Cinderella.
AN: This is basically just a preface, explaining the story I thought up. Feel free to review about my weirdness or whatever else you find wrong in this story. I hope you guys like it!
