Ch.1

Rayna's finishing up dinner while Teddy's watching football in the living room.

Rayna sits down and reads the newspaper,she screams,"TEDDY!"

Teddy goes to the kitchen and says 'What?'

Rayna holds the newspaper and says, "What the hell have you been doing with Peggy Kenter?!

"Teddy looks at the headline: "Teddy Conrad,Mayor of Nashville candidate caught out on the town with Margaret Kenter,Former ex-lover."

Teddy sighs and says: "Nothing happened Rayna, You know tabloids."

Rayna says, "Yeah right,this ain't no photoshopped crap." Grabbing her purse,she goes out the front door and slams the door.

Ch.2

Teddy calls Peggy and the line rings. Teddy says, "Peggy,theres a tabloid out and Rayna saw it and found out about our affair,Now what are we gonna do?"

"Teddy,I don't know..lets just decline every rumor said,Sound like a plan?" She says.

"Alright,Love you,Bye." says Teddy.

Rayna drove a hell of awhile,she had to talk to someone,but who was she to go to?

Deacon and her can't come to agreements,their relationship at the very breaking edge,why the heck would he wanna talk to her?!

Rayna sighs,'Hey I hear the Bluebird is having a special night tonight,maybe that will cheer me up.',she says to herself and drives to the Bluebird.

She arrives at the Bluebird, walks in,sits in the back and a few fans say 'Hi.'

And Deacon starts playing,No one will ever love you.

She thinks to herself,"Wow..I'd never thought I'd hear him play that again after what I said to him..god everything is my fault."

The song ends and Rayna's phone vibrates,Looking at the ID,Teddy..she sighs and reads the text.

"You know what? Im done,We're gonna do what you've always wanted,D.I.V.O.R.C.E." the text read. and tears well up in Rayna's eyes and she rushes out the door,and sits down by the building,sobbing.

Deacon heads out as everyone else starts to leave and he walks out the door seeing Rayna sobbing and crying her heart out on the concrete,"Ray? You okay?" He says.

She looks up,sniffling,and says, "Deacon?"

Deacon says: "What's wrong"?

Rayna starts to cries again and Deacon hugs her,"Its okay Ray..it's okay,shh",he says.

Rayna stops,wiping her tears,Deacon says, "Now will you tell me what happened?"

Rayna nods,Deacon says: "C'mon let's go in my car."

They get into Deacon's car and Rayna sighs.

She says,"Well there was a newspaper tabloid with uh..pictures of Teddy and Peggy Kenter out on the town hugging and holding hands,he said it was fake and that nothing happened,but he's a frigging liar!"

She starts to cry again.

"Then while I was listening to you play..he uh sent me this."

She says, showing him her phone while sniffling and sobbing.

Deacon says,"Oh my god Rayna,I'm so sorry",hugging her while she sobs.

She says, "Deacon,why do I feel like everything is my fault?"

Deacon says,"Darlin,it isn't your fault."

Rayna nods,with her head on Deacon's chest.

Her phone vibrates,She reads the caller ID,Teddy once again.

Rayna shakes and tears start to well up in her eyes.

Deacon says,"Put it on speaker." Rayna nods and answers the call.

Ch.3

Teddy: You fucking don't ever believe me.

Rayna: 'Scoffs' How dare you say that when I've believed every single thing you've said to me for 12 years?!

Teddy: Hmm,I'm just done with you and your pathetic lies.

Rayna: Oh,so I'm the liar?

Teddy: Thats right.

Rayna: Don't expect me to come home tonight.

Teddy: My pleasure.

Rayna hangs up and throws her phone at the floor and rips off her jacket,bawling and sobbing,Deacon looks at her, "Ray,it's gonna be alright darlin' it's gonna be alright." He says.

She sniffles and says,"You know what Deacon Claybourne?"

Deacon grins,"Yes darlin?"

Rayna says, "Its time I stop being all goody goody to that son of a bitch husband",she says with a laugh,leaning over to Deacon and kissing him.

Deacon says, "Get over here."

With a laugh,Rayna climbs onto his lap and he rustles her hair.

"Now whaddya say darlin,we go back to my place and get some rest?" He says with a smile.

Rayna nods,kissing him.

"Alrighty then,taking her hand and holding it,driving home." He says.

Ch.4

They arrive and Rayna gets out of the car,shutting her phone off and grabbing Deacons hand,she says, "I got no worries."

Deacon says, "That's ma girl."

They go inside,he picks her up,kisses her and they head into the bedroom. Y'all know what happens.. ;)

The next morning,Rayna wakes up,touching his face and saying,"I missed you."

Deacon says, "I missed you too darlin."

They kiss and Rayna gets out of bed,And sighs as she turns on her on her phone.

Deacon cuddles behind her,putting his hands on her hips and his chin on her shoulder,"Everythings gonna be just fine." He says.

Rayna says,'Thank you' Kissing him,Her phone vibrates.

"Okay let's see, 1 unread msg from Teddy,4 unread from Bucky,1 from Maddie and 2 emails,Hm not bad." She says.

She sighs while reading Teddy's..' 'Get your ass here your daughters need you.'

Deacon says "What'd Teddy say?" Get your ass here your daughters need you."

Deacon says "Harsh Huh?"

Rayna sighs, "Mhm hmm."

Rayna says,"I'll go back there on one condition..You come with me."

Deacon says,"Not a problem darlin'." Smiling and kissing her.

Ch.5

Rayna and Deacon pull up in her driveway,she sighs.."Let's do this",grabbing Deacons hand,they walk in the door.

Teddy is in the living room and says sarcastically,"About time Rayna."

Looking at Rayna and Deacon,he shots Deacon a evil look and continues watching the football game.

Rayna whispers to Deacon,"I can't do this."

Deacon says,"Yes you can Darlin."

Giving her a quick kiss,they look back and saw that Teddy was looking at them.

He says,"Oh so I'm suddenly the enemy?"

Rayna says, "Im doing what I should have done 12 years ago." Teddy scoffs,"Alright."

Rayna and Deacon laugh and Rayna says,"He got what he deserved huh?"

Deacon says,"You got that right darlin."

Giving her a quick kiss..He says,"Let's go check on the kids,"Rayna says, "Good idea."

They hold hands and walk upstairs. "Maddie? Daphne?" Rayna says.

Maddie appears and says,"Hey Mom!"

Hugging her,she says,"Daphne's taking a shower,She'll be out soon."

Rayna says,"Okay honey!" Giving her daughter a hug and a kiss.

Maddie says, "Hey Uncle Deacon!"

Deacon says,"Hey how's my little girl doin?!"

Maddie giggles,"Great!"

Her phone chimes,and she says,"Oh! Gotta go me and Virginia are skyping to have a guitar face-off!,Bye Uncle Deacon!"

'Bye sweetie." He says.

"Mighty fine kid you got there."He says to Rayna.

"All from her momma" She says.

They kiss passionately,and she reminisces that Maddie is Deacon's daughter,Thinking to herself..'I gotta tell him.'
