Ch.10

Looking at Maddie and Daphne in shame,the officers place handcuffs on Teddy and he looks behind saying softly to Maddie and Daphne,'I'm sorry.'

The girls walk out of the garage and then back into the house and they ask Deacon and Rayna, "Why was he arrested? What happened?"

Rayna says to Daphne, "Your father did a horrible thing and you will see him soon,don't worry." Rayna said while patting Daphne's hands.

Daphne sighs and says, "Alright Mom,I'm gonna go upstairs."

Rayna says 'Okay'

And Rayna says to Maddie, "You know when we watch 48 Hours:Hard Evidence? Well,Remember the Crowley episode? When the father hit the mother and then shot her? Well,your father hit me,the only thing different from that episode is that your father did not shoot me, but that is still considered a crime so he is going to jail for that."

Maddie says, "Wow,I never knew he would do that."

Rayna says, "Yeah..me either honey,me either. Listen,why don't you head upstairs and get ready for bed? It's getting late."

Maddie nods and heads upstairs.

Rayna sighs and looks at Deacon,"What am I gonna do?"

Deacon says, "Theres nothin you can do right now darlin."

Rayna says,"Yeah,I guess so."

Deacon says," Imma go grab my stuff outta my car and I'll be up in a min alright?"

'Alright.' Says Rayna and she heads upstairs.

Rayna walks in the room and notices Teddy's iPhone on the nightstand and takes a sigh before picking it up. She goes to Voicemail and retrieves the newest messages.

You have 1 unread message from "Peg"

'Oh babe..last night was amazing,I haven't felt young again like that in years..you were pure amazing last night,Boy is Rayna gonna be pissed when she finds out about this in the newspaper in the morning..haha just lie babe okay? Love ya and see you tomorrow. She says as she clicks her tounge.'

Rayna starts to tear up as Deacon walks in the room and Deacon looks at her and says, "Oh Ray..come here it's alright darlin'."

Rayna sobs in his arms and says,"Deacon..he was lyin to me! Pure lying! Listen to this Voicemail,she says as she hands Deacon Teddy's iPhone.

Deacon listens to the voicemail and says.."Rayna Jaymes how about we make new memories?" He says while getting close to her and putting his forehead against hers.

Rayna says,"You got it babe." As she starts to get in bed with Deacon and turns off the light.

It's 2am and Teddy is coming back to grab some things,and Rayna and Deacon are in bed with the light turned off and as Teddy enters the room Deacon says to Rayna, "I love you."

Rayna replies saying, "I love you too and thank you for being there for me the past 20 years."

Deacon says,"Lets make it another 20."

The 2 kiss and Teddy says, "Hello Rayna."

As he turns the light on..he says,"What the hell?! And I'm the cheater?!"

Deacon says,"How the hell did you get out? The officer said there was no way you could get out by bail tonight!"

"Lamar pulled a few strings." Says Teddy.

Rayna says,"You abused me and you got out of your arrest,Typical Lamar Wyatt behavior! Oh and your a player alright,I listened to your damn voicemail!"

Teddy says,"Whatever Rayna." With a scowl.

Rayna pulls the sheet on her and runs into the bathroom while running,she says to Teddy,"What the hell has my father done to you?! You've turned into him."

Meanwhile in the bathroom,Rayna takes out a bottle of vodka and starts drinking down the bottle.

Deacon gets out of bed and tells Teddy to get out.

He goes into the bathroom finding Rayna chugging down a bottle of Vodka.

Deacon says,"Oh my god Ray,put that down now!"

He pulls the bottle from her and asks where the rest is,Rayna points to the top cabinet and Deacon opens it & lo and behold he finds 4 bottles of Vodka and 5 empty whiskey bottles,his eyes are in shock.

Ch.11

"When did this start?!" Says Deacon.

Rayna says,"After I canceled the tour..I felt like you hated me and Teddy was acting weird I had nobody so I just started drinking."

Deacon says "Ray I could never hate you,God..you..a alcoholic?!"

Rayna says,"I'll stop,I promise."

Deacon says,"You better darlin."

Giving her a kiss on her forehead,he wraps her in the sheet and carries her to bed. She falls asleep as soon as she hits the bed and Deacon puts some clothes on and goes downstairs to find Teddy.

"She's drunk..she drinks when you make her upset."

Teddy says,"Oh god..I never meant for this to happen."

Deacon says,"Yeah. I know, it's best if you leave."

Teddy says,"Alright bye."

Deacon says,'Bye.'

The next morning they wake up,Rayna looks down at her alarm clock and says,"Oh god,we gotta get the kids to school!"

Deacon says,"Well good morning darlin'."

Rayna kisses him and says,"Good morning babe."

They get dressed and head downstairs.

"Good mornin' girls" Says Deacon.

"Good Morning Uncle Deacon!" says Daphne.

Maddie runs up to Deacon and gives him a hug and says,"Good Morning."

With a smile. "Mornin' sweetheart." Says Deacon.

"Hey girls,why don't you get in the car and me and Uncle Deacon will be there in a couple minutes alright?"

The girls nod their heads and go to the car.

Deacon pulls Rayna toward him and says,"What do ya wanna do today darlin?"

Rayna kisses him and says,"I wanna get us full custody of Maddie and I also want to do a paternity test for Daphne because we slept together on the tour bus around the time Daphne was conceived."

Deacon smiles and says,"Alright darlin."

Rayna grabs her daughter's fork and puts in a ziploc bag then puts it in her purse.

Deacon says,"Ready Darlin?" Rayna nods and they walk outside.

Ch.12

They drop the kids off at school then they go to the doctors office.

They sit down in the waiting room and Deacon says,"You nervous Ray?"

Rayna says,"Nah..pretty sure She's yours."

He leans over and kisses her..but what they don't know is there is paparazzi taking pictures of them.

The receptionist says,"Jaymes?"

Rayna nods and says,'Thats me.' They walk into the room.

Doctor Krauss: What brings you here today?

Rayna: *Takes out Daphne's fork* I'd like to get the paternity of the DNA on this fork versus the DNA of this man,Deacon Claybourne.

Doctor: Okay sure,let me get a test.

Rayna: You ready?

Deacon: More than ready. He kisses her and the doctor comes back.

Doctor Krauss: Alright,you ready?

Deacon: Yep

Doctor Krauss does a throat DNA test and comes back 20 minutes later.

I've got some news,The DNA on this fork is the same DNA as this man.

Deacon says with tears in his eyes,"We're gonna be a family Ray,we're gonna be a family!"

Rayna cries with tears of joy,"Yes babe,yes we are!"

Doctor Krauss says,"Congratulations,here is the paternity certificate."

Rayna says,"Thank you!"

Deacon says,"Let's go get full custody." Rayna nods and smiles and they head out.

They walk into the Divorce & Child Custody Services office.

Rayna: We're here to see Edward Langet.

Receptionist: He will be with you shortly.

Rayna: Thank You.

Deacon and Rayna sit down. Then 5 minutes later appears.

Edward Langet: Rayna Jaymes? Deacon Claybourne?

Deacon: That's us.

Edward Langet: Great,Follow me.

They sit down in his office.

Edward Langet: So what brings you here today?

Rayna: We'd like to get full custody of our two children out of my divorce from Teddy Conrad,this is Deacon,the biological father of my 2 children.

Edward Langet: Do you have the certificates?

Deacon: Yes. *Hands him the certificate*

Edward Langet: Great,let me just run up a file for you guys.

Rayna: Alright,Thank you.

Edward Langet: Your divorce settlement and custody battle will take place at the Oxlaxo Courthouse on September 14,2012.

Deacon: Thank you very much.

Rayna and Deacon arrive home.

"Let me call Teddy real quick" Says Rayna.

"Ok Darlin." Deacon says.

She calls Teddy and he picks up.

Teddy: Hello?

Rayna: Hey,I just found out Daphne is Deacon's daughter aswell and I went to file for full custody. Our court date is September 14 if you didn't already know.

Teddy: HOW IS DAPHNE HIS TOO?! YOU CHEATED ON ME!

Rayna: It was when we were on tour and I had a horrible day and I need consolation and one thing led to another...

Teddy: How the hell could you not tell me that both of my daughters were not mine?!

Rayna: I didn't know about Daphne,I found out an hour ago!

Teddy: Well I appreciate you telling me this time!

Rayna: Let's get this stupid divorce over with and move on with our lives.

Teddy: With pleasure,I'm marrying Peggy after the divorce is finalized.

Rayna: So you lied to me? Her voice breaks.

Teddy: I'm sorry Rayna. it's all for the best though..we can be happy.

Rayna: Yeah,I guess so..Goodbye

Teddy: Bye,And I'm sorry.

Rayna hangs up and sits down and puts her head down.

"What's wrong darlin?" Deacon says.

"Teddy's gonna marry Peggy..the tabloid was true."

Deacon says,"He lied to you. That bitch.

Well Ray,you're sure in for some luck darlin."

Rayna looks up and says,"What do you mean?"

Deacon gets down on one knee and takes Rayna's hand and says,"Rayna Jaymes,Will you marry me?" He places the ring on her finger.

Looking at the ring and sobbing,Rayna says.."Of course I will,Yes!"
