Revenge: Emily and Aiden's Story
Disclaimer: I do not own Revenge, nor am I associated with ABC, etc.
Part 1 – Before the Hamptons
Emily ran through the confusing maze, set up by none other than her teacher, Mr. Satoshi Takeda. She respected him, yes, but damn, did he push her far. She looked around, wondering where she was. Her face was visibly slick with sweat, as he hair was tied back out of her face. Clad in solely her sports bra and gym shorts, she desired to take off both. Takeda HAD to pick this hot day to do the maze run.
She ran through the paths, which were bordered by endless hedges. She eventually reached an intersection of four paths. Emily followed her instincts and went right. Her instincts were usually right, she often found. As she sprinted, the mist that seemed to shroud the entire maze began to clear, and if she squinted, she saw a light that she knew to be the end of the maze.
Emily impelled herself forward, and it definitely required much of her energy, which was depleting quickly. The maze had been long and tiresome. She just wanted to rest. Eventually she ran past the opening that functioned as the finishing line, and crouched down to catch her breath. She looked up and saw her fellow student, Aiden Mathis, smugly grinning down at her.
Takeda turned towards Emily disdainfully. "Aiden defeated you this time. You must do better next time, Amanda, if you want to beat him." Emily turned her powerful brown gaze towards her mentor, enraged. "Don't dare call me Amanda. My name is Emily Thorne!" She yelled, infuriated, wiping the sweat off her forehead. She stormed off from the clearing, towards the house where the three lived together, learning from Takeda everyday.
Aiden and Takeda both seemed impressed. "She's certainly a blazing fireball of energy." Aiden chuckled, smiling as Emily walked away, staring at her. She was beautiful. He admired the way her dirty blonde hair cascaded down her slender back. Takeda nodded in agreement, noting Aiden's captivation. "Go rest. You've worked hard today." He told his student with much sage.
Emily mumbled angrily as she closed the blinds of her room, and pulled her bra over her head, and pulled down her gym shorts. She was still mumbling as she stomped into the bathroom, and turned on the water in the bathtub. She gazed at herself in the mirror as she yanked out her hair tie, ignoring the brief pain that accompanied the abrupt yank. Look at you, Emily. Will you ever be able to even get revenge on the Graysons? You're pathetic. She thought as she looked at her naked body.
Emily threw a glance at the bathtub. It was full. She carelessly squirted some bubble bath in, and climbed into the warm water, feeling a bit more relaxed, some of the tension leaving her. Numerous snippets of information swirled around her mind, the anger ebbing away. She closed her eyes, sighing with delight. Oh, how a bath did wonders on her stress levels. She rubbed soap on a few parts of her bodies, taking her time. Suddenly, she heard a soft knock on the door.
"It's me, Aiden. Can I come in?" His voice said. Emily faintly smiled at the sound of his voice. She very much loved Aiden, to be honest. She closed her eyes, remembering their passionate love-making. She trusted him with her life. "Come on in." She gently called, tilting her head back in the tub.
Aiden walked through the door, beholding the sight of Emily in the tub. He was definitely intrigued and aroused at the same time. "Hey, I'm sorry about what happened... earlier." He apologized, boring his eyes into hers. She shrugged. "No, it's not your fault. I just feel so... judged, when it comes to Takeda. He's brilliant, yes, but he can seem so judgmental sometimes." Emily broke eye contact with him, staring down at the suds of soap. Aiden stroked her hair nimbly, and she felt comforted by his touch. "Join me, in the bath." Emily encouraged, longing to feel his body next to hers.
Aiden simply nodded, and without question, undressed himself, until he was naked, like Emily. He slipped into the bath, letting out a sigh of relaxation. "I love a good bath." Aiden noted, and Emily giggled, putting her arms around him. They stared at each other for a moment, and abruptly began to make out sloppily, yet intimately. They kissed for a while, sometimes, their heads going underwater. They both clung to each other. "To the bed." Aiden suggested through kissing, and Emily just nodded. They rapidly got out of the tub, and continued to make out, as they jumped onto the bed together.
The next morning, Emily's eyes opened slowly. She was in her bedroom, as usual. Then, she remembered the previous night. She smiled. She had had sex with the man she loved. Aiden. She looked to her left, expecting him to be there, but he was absent. Emily stood, dressed herself with a robe, and walked down the stairs. Takeda had given them the day off, so she wanted to spend it with Aiden.
She came to the living room, and glanced at the coffee table. An envelope, addressed to her, in Aiden's impeccable handwriting. Emily opened it speedily, and carefully read the letter.
Remember how I said I would leave, and you wanted to go with me? Well, I left. You couldn't come with. It wouldn't work out.
I love you.
Tears formed in Emily's eyes as she read the letter, and she sobbed, holding her face in her hands. He left her. She felt miserable. And stupid. This is what she received for trusting people. Emily finally let out a sigh, and brushed the tears from her eyes. She couldn't be weak. She had to forget Aiden, and continue down her path of revenge.
