Prologue

Hi there. I have a story to tell, something to get out of my chest. I think that it's best to tell you, a stranger, a reader, you know, just random person that would probably never get the chance to meet me, an anonymous creature. Perfect.

Be warned, this story may or may not be true, but it will have an impact on how you'll see the world. Most importantly, it will change how you'll see, treat, and interact with other individuals. At least, I hope it would, for that is my mission, my duty to this world- before I have to leave it behind.

Are you ready? You best brace yourself, since it's going to be a long story.

This story gyrates around a girl named Melinda Clad.

She's the kind of girl that would lie to people, small lies though. She'll tell you that she's full when she's still hungry. That it's ok but deep inside, it's not. She'll tell you that she's fine, super really, but frankly, she wants to cry, and scream, and wail.

When she wants to be selfish, she grits her teeth and shuts her mouth. When she wants to insult someone, she bites her tongue, and hope it doesn't bleed.

On the surface of other people's eyes, even her closest friends, she's an angel, the goody-goody of the class, the teacher's pet, and the "innocent" little bird.

But all that changed in one night.

Don't say I didn't warn you. Here goes.
