When I was a young girl, I was so afraid of death. I believed that I would stop existing, go to hell if I did this but as last night a big revelation came to me.
God, devil, saints, angels, there is nothing there. There is no guiding light at the end of the tunnel and as I stand here I smile to the onlookers who think me another maid, desperate to get out of service from the tyrannical Lady Bryan.
Well, it may be true, but there is more to that. I close my eyes, just one jump and I succeed.
Truth will set you free, someone wrote but in reality death sets you free.
