In Circles and in Rows

Tomoya Okazaki and Nagisa Okazaki were lying in bed together with their daughter, Ushio between them. They were all hugging each other, Ushio asleep and Tomoya and Nagisa staring into each other's eyes lovingly.

They were all so happy.

"Nagisa, I love you." Tomoya whispered, taking her soft hand in his own larger one.

"I love you too, Tomoya…" Nagisa whispered back, her voice filled with pure love and happiness.

Tomoya gives his wife a big smile, sighing cheerfully.

Nagisa starts humming the Dango Family song, closing her eyes slowly, gently stroking Ushio's hair with her free hand.

Tomoya starts humming with her, closing his eyes as well, caressing the top of Nagisa's hand with his thumb, in circles and in rows.

Tomoya was so happy to have a family like this. His whole life was complete and very symmetrical and beautiful now.

Nagisa and Ushio are his entire life.

He would do anything for them.

He loves them both so much and always want to see them happy. He will take care of them and make them smile for as long as he lived.

When he and Nagisa finished humming the song, they both turned their gaze on their little girl between them.

Ushio's eyes were slowly opening and she was looking at them both cutely, a tired expression dancing on her soft features.

"Mommy, daddy…?" She says quietly, her voice wrapped up in weariness and sleepiness.

"What is it?" Tomoya questioned her, letting go of Nagisa's hand to rub Ushio's small back.

"Are you guys going to sleep too?" Ushio asked sweetly.

Tomoya and Nagisa looked at each other before looking back down at Ushio, both of them nodding simultaneously, like perfect polymerization.

"Yes, dear," Nagisa tells her little girl. "We're going to sleep as well."

"Yeah." Tomoya agreed.

A smile slid onto Ushio's face and her eyes slowly closed, and she slipped into dreamland.

Tomoya and Nagisa gave each other a smile before following their daughter into a blissful sleep.
