I could turn this into a chaptered fic... if I get a good response :)

Don't own McFly, do own Hailey and Lewis.

Hailey drummed her fingers on the table impatiently. She anxiously scanned the marina. She was on her holiday in Majorca, and she waited for her fiance, Lewis to turn up. He had gone off to check out the ostentatious yachts that surrounded the picturesque marina. The sun was brilliant against the clear, cloudless sky. The sea mirroring the sky.

Hailey sighed and sipped her lemonade. Lewis always did have the strangest obsession with boats. That was the soul reason they were even at the marina. Hailey wanted to go find a beach, but she agreed to Lewis' idea, because she knew how difficult he could get. Hailey often doubted her decision to marry him, but she loved him, and he loved her, so she figured it was the right choice. She finished her drink and rested her chin in her hand as she stared off, watching boats sail in the sea. She scanned the marina, in search for her fiance, but she gave up, unable to spot him in the sea of people.

Hailey watched as a couple that arrived the restaurant she was in at the same time she did, get up to leave. Frustrated, she grabbed her phone out of her handbag and texted Lewis to hurry up. Suddenly, Hailey's attention was caught by a group of four guys who entered the restaurant, laughing loudly. They walked to a table and one of them bumped into her.

"Sorry," he apologised. He had a British accent. He had blonde hair, and brown eyes, and a dimple in one cheek as he smiled timidly at her.

"It's ok." she smiled back at him.

"C'mon, Tom!" a guy with dark, curly hair, blue eyes and freckles, pulled at the blonde's arm.

"Ow! Danny!" the blonde, Tom, rubbed his arm where the dark haired boy, Danny, had pulled him. They walked off to a table a few tables in front of mine.

Suddenly there was a hand on her shoulder. Lewis. She would recognise the tanned, dark haired, green eyed boy that she'd been with since high school anywhere.

"I'm so sorry, babe." he kissed me on her cheek, sitting across form her.

"You took an hour." Hailey glared at him. She was not amused.

"Sorry, I got distracted. Babe, you've got to check out some of the beauties out there!" he said excitedly, glancing out towards the boats.

Hailey zoned off as he started to rant about yachts and what not. Hailey did love him, and admired his enthusiasm, but she'd been sat there, looking pathetic for an hour, waiting for him. She was angry.

"Listen, Lewis, I have not sat here, for an hour waiting for you, for you to talk about stupid boats, can we please just eat and leave? I just want to go back to the hotel and relax now." she begged.

Lewis blinked, not expecting this reaction from her, "Um... ok." he said, stunned, and looked through the menu.

Hailey sighed, and her eyes wandered to the table of four boys again. She saw Tom and Danny, and saw another blonde and another brunette. They were happy and having a laugh. She wished she was like that, sometimes: carefree, laid-back, and... happy.
