chapter 1: Frightful Beginning

Hey! Kayla here( also character in story, not real name)

Both of us: Our first online fan fic!

Michele: we are new so… lets get started!

Kouga: Ummm. The disclaimer thing. shouldn't you do that?

Michele: Well ya… Kayla honors?

Kayla: But… Fine…

Both of us: let's get started!

Michele's P.O.V.

"Can we go to the well yet" I ask Kayla who was ordering three scoops of vanilla ice cream.

" Not yet"

"But-" I was cut-off by Kayla's annoyed response.

" Michele… No…"

I sit impatiently waiting for Kayla as I review what happened a couple days ago. Me and Kayla had just finished the Inuyasha series when I had this nuts idea to check out the well in the center of town… you know… for educational purposes. Anyway we were on our way there when an icecream truck stopped and Kayla just couldn't resist with ten dollars burning a whole in her pocket.

"let's go" I hear Kayla say as she throws away her Styrofoam bowl and spoon.

"Wow... a new record" I say to Kayla smirking.

She punches my arm. I grab it as if it hurt.

We walk for about three more minutes before I yelp seeing the well twenty feet away.

"I'm first!" I whine as Kayla goes from a jog to a full out sprint.

I clumsily pass her. Diving into the well as if it were a pool on a hot summer day. I look around.

"where's the purple stuff!?" I screech latching on to Kayla as if my life depended on it. We both scream bloody murder as we hurdle towards what seems like our deaths…

Michele: Cliff hanger! Mwa ha haa haaa

Kayla: Michele, not nice…

Michele: Well who's the bossy one now Kayla!?

Kouga: They'll eventually stop arguing before the next chapter… I hope.
