The second set of twins were just born; Luke and Leia Skywalker. Also, Obi-wan's new padawan isn't quite as sweet as they say. What will become of the babies? What will happen to Obi-wan when Dooku's succubus minion gets to him? Who will live to tell and who will die for the sake of those closest? No more MPREG, it was too awkward for me. Anakin stood before the council in their chambers. Someone had thought it bast to escort Obi-wan to a medic until his strength returned, so he was the only one absent. Everyone was discussing his fate after interrogating him and Zhannairah, now he was going to find out what was to come.
"You understand the error of your ways, Skywalker, correct?" a voice asked him.
"Yes, Master," he answered glumly.
"And you understand the normal punishment for such mistakes?"
"Yes, Master." Anakin waited for them to say the words, for them to say, 'You are expelled from the Jedi and forbidden contact with any Jedi and Senator Amidala'.
"However, with how well you have kept to our other ways despite this flaw, we have decided to allow you to stay as you are with the senator." Anakin looked up in shock. "We will allow you to raise your son and daughter and you will not have to turn them in for training if you do not wish to do so."
"Are you saying that..."
"Yes, you and Senator Amidala are permitted to raise Luke and Leia, once we get them back to Corusaunt, without the further need for secrecy."
"Master, I don't know what to say."
"But, we must suspend you once they are returned, think of it as time for the four of you to bond. We will work out a way to find them and retrieve them, then we will call you for departure."
"Thank you, Master," Anakin said with a bow.
"You are dismissed." Anakin bowed and ran back to his dorm to meet up with his sister and padawan. After Zhannairah's interrogation, she went went back and waited for Ahsoka to finish her last-minute questioning. Anakin was shocked that Ahsoka knew, but didn't question now that he was allowed to love Padme.
He ran in and squeezed Zhannairah as tightly as he could, though he must have been crying because Zhannairah and Ahsoka were worried for the worst. "You don't have to say it," Zhannairah moped, "I'm getting my stuff now."
"You don't have to, Sis," he sobbed back.
"But you've been expelled. I'm only here because of you, the Jedi have no purpose with me other than keeping you company and saving your butt all the time." Anakin raised himself to her eye-level and smiled at her.
"And you get to keep doing that because I'm still a Jedi." Ahsoka and Zhannairah looked at each-other with wide, happy eyes. "You and I are staying right here, Sissy."
"Are they forcing you to never see her again?" Ahsoka asked.
"No, they're letting me go with suspension, then I'm okay."
"You are so lucky that they're letting you stay."
"What did they say, anyways?"
"They said that if I've been married this long and have not yet become a sith, then they think I should not be expelled and Padme and I can raise our children."
The day of departure, Ahsoka was ordered to stay behind while Anakin and Zhannairah got the babies back. She regret having to obey it, but she needed to stay with Padme until they returned. Anakin and Zhannairah boarded the shuttle, along with the few clones and Jedi that were going to help them. Their plan was simple; go to Dooku's location near the Outer Rim, attack any guards that stand in their way, and search for the two babies.
Dooku was in a space station that Zhannairah, luckily, knew the exact location of. Anakin could sense the small babies; they were afraid and lost because their loving mother ad father weren't there beside them, but they were alive and unharmed. He just wanted nothing more than to hold Luke in his arms once more, to see Leia's smiling face while she played like a child of her age should do.
Zhannairah's hand touched his shoulder. She calmly whispered to him, "We'll get them back, safe and sound."
"I know," he whispered back, "but they're my son and daughter, I can't help but worry whenever they go missing like this."
"Well then you're being one hell of a good father right now." Anakin smiled at her with a hopeful look in his eyes. "We will get them back home, I promise you that." Anakin nodded, then they prepared for the coming and inevitable assault.
