Jack's POV

I was lying on my bed listening to music when I heard the doorbell ring. I wonder who could be come up with this weather. In fact, it was raining by this morning and it didn't seem to want to stop. After a couple of minutes, my mom said:

"JACK COME DOWN NOW! " I stand up and I put on a shirt. Yes, I like stay in my room shirtless.. any problem? As I walked down by the stairs, I saw a girl standing in front of my door with a towel on the shoulders. she was wet from the head to the foot. She had a long, blonde and pretty soaked hair. Wow, I've never seen a girl with such beautiful hair. Not mention about her lovely brown eyes, her perfect lips, her sexy body ... Wake up man! Who are you? Your conscience stupid, and I'm here for remember you who you are and that you usually don't think this about girls. I didn't think nothing bad, so shut up now, I know what I'm doing! And I don't need you! Whatever you says… Suddenly my mom pulled me out of my thoughts. She said: "Jack, this girl is Kim Crawford, she moved here just two hours ago and got lost." The gir- I mean Kim blushed while my mom said it. She's cute when she blush. CUTE?! Since when you call a girl cute?! SHUT THE F*** UP! While shook her hand, I swear I felt a chill spread throughout my body. She smiled at me, and all of a sudden I couldn't breathe. She's got the most beautiful smile in the word. "I'm Kim" she said awkwardly. I just stood here smiling, I mean a real smile. And trust me if I say that I rarely smile for real. Even my mom saw this, and she cleared her throat smirking. I suddenly realize what I was doing and I went out of my thought. " Oh.. I'm.. umm.. I'm Jack " I said feeling the blush color my cheeks. Great way to introduce yourself. Now she will think that you are a moron. And why do you care? This time I just ignored that annoying voice. " I was wondering if you could walk with her at home. it's raining and all alone she will probably get lost again. She live in the 36th of Lader Street (I just invented it. Sorry if it's wrong, but I don't know how to write the address) " my mom said. When Kim looked at me for an answer, I got lost in her eyes and I stared at her smiling like an idiot. "Emm .. Jack ..?" Kim asked, moving her hand in front of my face. ".. What ..? Oh .. emm .. Yes, I walk her home " I answered blushing looking away, than at my mom, who was smiling like who just won the lottery. After a couple of awkward silent, I took the keys, my black leather jacket and a bih umbrella. " Do you want to go? " I asked gently at Kim. She nodded smiling a little bit, and I engaged with all myself for not stare at her smile. I waved at my mom and got out of my house.

We were walking in an awkward silent under my umbrella when I decided to speak. " So… where did you live before move here? " I asked quietly. " Oh.. I lived in Tennessee, but my dad got a promotion. Now he's the new sheriff.." I chuckled at her last comment. Wait a second… did I just chuckle?. I ignored my thought and asked: " And what about your family? It was ok for them? " Why am I so curios about this girl? " Well, I haven't got any brothers or sisters, so yeah, I was ok with the transfer thing.. actually I really needed it.. " she answered, whispering the last part. " And your mom? " Her beautiful smile dropped at my question. What did I just say? I watched her, and she was like.. trying to hold back the tears. Oh shit, I didn't mean to made her cry. Good Jack, very good! Why do you care so much? She's just a little whining girl! SHUT UP AND GO AWAY! " Umm.. she.. she died three years ago.. a robbery gone wrong.. it's also for this that we moved here.. there were too many memories.. " she said looking down. " I'm.. I'm sorry I didn't know.. I didn't mean to ma- " I was cut off by her voice: "No, don't worry, it wasn't your fault… it's ok, really " she said smiling at me, while she placed her and on my arm. And again I felt electricity where her hand was. I smiled at her, and she blushed a little bit. " You're cute when you blush. " I said and she blushed even more. Wait.. I didn't mean to say it out loud. " Thanks.. " she answered smiling at the ground. After a little bit I saw her shiver. I took off my jacked an placed it on her shoulder. She thanked me and we keep walking in silent. " So.. what do you like to do in your free time? " she said. " Well.. I love skating and do karate and… listening to music.. what about you? " " You do karate?! I didn't know that there was a dojo in this town! I do karate too! ". Ok, this time I was shocked. Beautiful, funny and she does karate? Cool! "Well, you can come to my dojo if you want, my sensei loves have new student.. what belt are you? " she was about to answering when her phone ringed. " Hi dad… yes, yes I'm coming. Actually I'm in front of our house… because I see you! Yeah.. ok, ok, I'm coming.. bye ". She put her phone on her pocked and turning to look at me. " Thanks for walking me at home.. I guess I'll see you around? " she said stopping in front of her alleyway. " Certainly and if you need anything, you know where I live " I answered smirking. She giggled at my comment, and she gave me my jacked. She leaned to my face and kissed my cheek. I blushed like a tomato and she noticed. She giggled again, and I rubbed my neck embarrassed. When I was about to reply, her dad, or so I think, opened the door saying that she has to go into the house. " Well… I'll see you around Kim " I said. " Maybe you will " she answered before she went inside her house. I walked home strangely happy and smiling like an idiot. I went into had dinner and went to my room. I laid down in my bed and thought about Kim. I never felt like this with the others girls. Maybe I should give her a chance. Maybe she's different. And what about your friends? What will they think? You have a reputation, you can't give up for a random girl that you barely know! Maybe my conscience was right. I mean, I barely know this girl. I will probably forget about her. And with this, I fell asleep.

Kim's POV

As I walked inside my house, my father started with the question. " Who was that guy? How do you know him? What did he want? " he said so fast that I could barely understand everything. " DAD STOP! " I yelled and he shut up. " I got lost, so I knocked at his house and he offered to walk me home since I didn't know where it was " I said sitting on the couch. " Oh… well than he was very kind. Did you said thanks? " he said sitting next to me. " Of course, what kind of person do you think I am? " I answered joking. He chuckled and turning on the TV. " He also said that there is a dojo in the town, do you think I could enroll? " " Of course honey. Now let's go to dinner and then you go to sleep 'cause you have school tomorrow " he answered. We had dinner and after I went to sleep. The last thing I thought was: well Jack, you are a very interesting guy. I hope I will now you better.
