i woke up on a Friday morning, at the end of my owner's bed, Jack. i quickly hopped off and looked at the time 6:49. i quietly looked at myself in a mirror wondering how i came to be. i wasn't a regular chocolate lab, i had white marking on my legs and a little bit at tip of my tail. i stared at the mirror and saw my blue eyes, i was handsome alright but i grew up in the streets i never knew my father nor my i lonely? of course i was! i was only a puppy looking for someone. the animal shelter found me and took me in. and that where Jack shows up

young Jack- i really want a dog. i unique dog. but i want it to be a puppy

JD- well here's a very handsome puppy *points to Henry*

young Jack- wow is he sold?

JM- no i don't think so, but do you really want this dog?

young Jack- nods

~ young Jack approaches Henry and looks at him~

young Jack i really i want this dog, please i never had a pet before

JD- i think it's time he has company Victoria, he has a point too

Back to Henry's p.o.v

me and Jack grew up together we had a special bond. but i hid something from him. i hid a letter from his older brother Dean. i quickly and quietly opened the drawer and placed the letter on the top of drawer and waited for the alarm to go off. i felt like an hour when it finally did. i ran over to Jack and licked him to wake him up some more. i always wait for him to eat breakfast

Jack's p.o.v

after i brushed my teeth and got showered and changed i found a letter on the top of my drawer. i sat at the edge of my bed and opened the letter up

Dear Jack,

i hope you find this letter in time. i am at college right now and i can't go back home until i'm 21 years old, i know that's 5 months from now. i also hope you use the 900 dollars i sent you i saved it from when mom and dad gave it to me. use it because mom and dad go on business trips a lot. i know it's a little wad of cash or you may call it a big wad of cash. i will see you soon i promise and never forget to protect your loved ones and the ones you love.

I quietly mumbled Dean William Brewer. i missed my brother and that was the point i wanted a dog. but i have Henry, the dog i love. i hid the note and went down to eat breakfast get my backpack and leave for school. Henry walked with me or sometimes i hear a siren of a squad car which was Kim and her brother Steven, and i gladly accept the ride or sometimes a little bit of both. which happened today, i heard sirens i held my hands up and say "what did i do this time officers?" i said in a surrendering voice i saw Kim blush at the point called her an officer. I finally say "i know the drill" so me and Henry got in the squad car and Steven drove us off at school. we waved goodbye i gave Henry a goodbye scratch on his belly and said "see you later Henry." when we got in school i got greeted by my enemy Sam Thompson. he stole Kim from me and if she's happy i'm happy i left her and Sam alone and went my classes. after school i didn't expect the unexpected
