Dragon Slayers, Part 1 by: Snowflake aka the Ice Queen
It was a typical morning. Faith (Kido) came into practice late, half dressed, and with half of her armor on. Dilandau and Faith challenged each other to a swordfight. Of course, Faith demolished our so-called "leader." The only difference between today and every other morning, was that January, Chesta, Mysti, and Gatti were making bets on if Missy was coming back to join the Dragon Slayers. "No way. She's turned good. She's doomed to be an 'ally' forever."January said. Mysti, Shista, and Gatti nodded. "Missy used to be a great member of the dragon slayers, but then she met Allen Shezar, the 'pinnacle of good intentions', and she left us for good. I swear, those Asturians are out to get us. Thing is, we're out to get them, so it really doesn't matter." Chesta said as January, Faith, and Gatti started laughing. Then, on a whim, we started showing off our 'battle scars.' "Stupid Van. King of
Fanelia, my butt." Dilandau said, as he pointed to a scar on his cheek. "Stupid pyro-boy." Faith said, as she pointed to a big gash on her leg. Dilandau gave her the 'look.' "Stupid Asturians." January said, as she pointed to the huge scar on her back. Mysti grimaced. "Anyway, why don't we stage a meeting with the Asturians?" Dilandau said evilly. "Oh my GOD! Stop it! That's freakin'...uh...FREAKY!" January said quickly. Dilandau slapped his forehead. "Why are evil geniuses always surrounded by blockheads?" he said. The whole army just looked at him very evilly. "Just grab the banners, and get moving." Dilandau said very quickly. "Why do these things have to be so heavy?" January asked Mysti. "Here Chesta, hold this." She said as she handed him the very heavy banner. Soon, they had arrived at Asturia Castle. "Oh CRAP!" Missy yelled, "Dragon Slayers approaching!" The Asturians readied their positions. "What is it Dilandau?" Allen asked, annoyed. "My soldiers would like to speak to Princess Missy." Dilandau said calmly. "Alright." Missy said, "Your request is granted. "Now, what is it?" January was the first to speak up. "We want you to come back." She said. Missy was shocked. "Allen, honey. Would you excuse us for a moment?" she said frantically. She pointed the army to her private quarters. Once they were safely inside, the conversation commenced. "What?" Missy asked once again. "We want you to join the Dragon Slayers again." Chesta said. "I can't. Believe me, I really miss plundering other countries, but I can't. I'm the Princess of Asturia. My loyalty must remain to my country. If I were to come back to Zaibach, Allen would be crushed. I love him and Asturia too much to leave." Missy said sympathetically, "The Asturians can be your allies, but I can't return to the army." "Fair enough." Gatti said. "Fine." Dilandau said bitterly. Missy walked sadly out of her quarters, and sat on her throne, next to Allen. The Dragon Slayers marched back to the Vione. "Well, that was depressing." Faith said. "I've got a idea, let's go torch Fanelia." January said. "All in favor?" Dilandau asked as everyone's hand shot up. After turning Fanelia into a burning pile of rubble for the fourth time that week, everyone just chilled out in the training room for a while. "Hey, why don't we have a sleepover party?" Mysti asked. Faith rolled her eyes, and lay on Dilandau's shoulder. "As if. If we're having a sleepover party, it's gonna be Chesta 'sleeping over' in my room, and Faith 'sleeping over' in Dilandau's room." January said. Faith and Dilandau were shocked. "You might wanna fix that creak in your headboard." Mysti pointed out.
