"Not even 24 hours in this damn place and you already have a mess!"
Wyatt peered up from his plate of leftover pizza, a slice drooping as it dangled in his hand. "What?"
"Bubble wrap, newspaper, pizza box," Chris listed off as he placed the plump grocery bags onto the stove, "I know we're in the midst of unpacking; but can we at least try to keep a sense of cleanliness."
"But, we're in the middle of packing!" Wyatt argued, "Is this the one time we have an excuse to be pigs!"
Chris leveled his gaze on his older brother before rolling his eyes. He started to shove boxes of cereal and canned goods into the cabinets. Wyatt sighed and placed his pizza aside before leaning forward and wrap his arms around Chris's waist. "Oh, come on," Wyatt mumbled, resting his chin on Chris's shoulder, "Lighten up, we don't live in the manor anymore,"
"Doesn't give us the right to dirty up the place, we're not pigs, Wy."
Wyatt grinned and pressed his face into the side of Chris's neck, "I'm not saying that; but it wouldn't kill you to leave a few dishes in the sink."
"We don't have any plates in the sink,"
"Example, Kit, Example."
"And a bad one in that," Chris snorted as he leaned and placed the jug of milk into their fridge, "And I'm was talking about the pile of bubble wrap you have on our couch, and the mountain of empty cardboard boxes on our living room floor."
"Which will be cleaned up later,"
"I hate you," Chris sighed, "I'm not going to be your housewife and cleaning up after you."
"And I'm not going to do your laundry."
"And I'm not going to cook you breakfast or make you a cup of coffee."
Wyatt laughed, "Is there anything you will do?"
Chris raised an eyebrow and gently pulled Wyatt down a hallway which only made Wyatt's laughter return before the bedroom door clicked shut.
