Author’s notes: Please Read

This story is based on the game by Silicon Knights called Eternal Darkness. I do not own this idea or these characters, though I may present them in a different light than they are meant to be in the game.

This is a novelization, yet you do not have to know anything about the game to read it. Everything about the story will be explained within and can be followed without any knowledge of the game.

This story will, of course, have a few of my own ideas added in the storyline and will contain exact excerpts from the game and instruction booklet.

Things to note while reading: IMPORTANT!

1.) When there is writing at the top of some chapters in italics, those words are written by Dr. Edward Roivas, who you will meet shortly. So, as not to get you confused, those parts are spoken and/or written by him and I will usually tell. This is just so you won’t get confused. If the words are not meant for Edward, there will be quotation marks and will be signed by whoever wrote the words.

2.) Everything in this story is important. You must think to make connections between different things and to keep up.

3.) Also, the different characters are introduced through the Tome of Eternal Darkness, so when a big sign says Parable and there is a title, Alex is reading from the Tome and is seeing the characters’ trials through her reading.
