From the Shadows, the Chronicles of Kurama

I don’t own Kurama, Hiei, or ANYTHING except the Razeor Masters, and the Razeor Generals, Don't Sue! You’d get a bunch of CRAP! And maybe a quarter.

Kurama, rather enjoyed his life, living in his apartment with his demon brother Hiei, and his two sisters Botan and Kayko. ‘Hiei, the control freak,’ Kurama thought, ‘was always telling poor Botan what to do.’ Then the phone rang. “Hello?” Kurama said politely. “Kurama, trouble in Spirit World! Yusuke ..... Kuwabara need help! Oh yeah, take Hiei, Botan and Kayko too!” Then Koenma, the person who called, was cut off. “Oh no, oh no. My home, Spirit World...” Kurama stammered.

Kurama ran into the kitchen. “Spirit World!!” he shouted. “What about it?”, Hiei said sipping his tea. “DANGER!!!!!!!” “Danger?” Kayko replied. “Yes, Yusuke--” Kurama was cut off. “Yusuke? What about Yusuke?” Botan said, worry in her voice. Botan, Kurama, Kayko, Hiei, Yusuke, and Kuwabara had been friends for almost all their lives. “He is in danger, must go to Spirit World.” Kurama said, crimson eyes shining and long red hair being flicked with nervousness. Then Hiei, Botan, and Kayko went to Spirit World, leaving Kurama at home.

When Kurama decided to go to Spirit World, he left his apartment and at his door was a girl with gray eyes, green hair, and a purple kimono. She just stared at Kurama. “Who are you?” Kurama said. “Kizna Videl Towryk” , she replied. Kurama recognized her, but from where? Then it came to him. Kurama had killed her father when Kurama had been possessed by a spirit, High Prince Heishin. He had been having nightmares about her ever since. She bared her sharp nails and scratched Kurama’s face. Blood dripped down his face. “Why are you here?”, Kurama said. “Quiet!” she said, her voice disguised like High Prince Heishin. “No!” said Kurama. “Don’t contradict your master, Rando Towryk”, she said again. “No, shut up!”, Kurama shouted as he picked up a rose and turned it into his rose whip. Kurama whipped it at her. It went right through her. “What are you?” he said running away. Kurama ran to the Spirit World entrance. He left Kizna on Earth.

At Spirit World, Kurama found Kayko, Hiei, Botan, Yusuke, and Kuwabara battling the storm-demons. Two were trying to kill Yusuke. Kurama hit them with his rose whip and they automatically were paralyzed. Then Yusuke fired his new attack called ‘Shotgun’ and knocked off the rest of them. “Thanks Kurama” , said Yusuke. Kurama answered, “No problem.” Then a man appeared. “Who are you?’ Yusuke asked. “I have no name... I’ve been sent by Koenma to help you” he replied. “I won’t remember that you don’t have a name, so your name is now Raptor” Hiei said. “Whatever”, Raptor replied. Then they set off to obliterate the remaining storm-demons and Razeor-masters, the source of the trouble. Raptor and Yusuke were the strongest guys in the entire group. But when battle comes, Kurama and Hiei were the ones to finish the rest off. “One, one storm-demon at one o’clock high!” Kuwabara shouted. “Spirit Gun!”, Yusuke said firing his spirit gun attack at the demon. Soon enough, all the storm-demons were gone. Then they went to the Razeor castle. Yusuke and Raptor knocked the door down and they all proceeded in. Then only Kayko noticed they were being followed. She turned around and made her attack. “Smile Bomb!” she yelled, and the new type of demon blew up. She walked ahead. Whenever she saw the new type of demon, which Raptor called False demons, Kayko fired the Smile Bomb attack. Then they continued forth. Razeor generals suddenly came out of the floor. Kurama and Hiei tried to stop the generals, but they were too strong, Kuwabara pulled out his spirit sword, hit them, and paralyzed them all. Yusuke and Botan used a spell to shrink them and they put them in a jar. “Two down, two more to go” Raptor said. “Good job.”

As they proceeded, they ran into more and more demons. Yusuke’s spirit energy was all used up, Kuwabara’s spirit sword wouldn’t come on, and Botan’s shrinking spell wouldn’t shrink people. Hiei, Kurama, Kayko, and Raptor were the only ones who could attack. Suddenly a girl appeared. ‘Kizna’ Kurama thought. She walked up to Kurama. “Kurama, the demon” she said. “How do you know I’m a demon?” Kurama replied. “Quiet fox boy! You’ve struck down my father”, she shouted. Hiei drew his shadow sword. Hiei thought for a minute. ‘Wait , she is already a demon. What good would my shadow sword do? It’d only give her a Jagan eye (a third eye) like mine’ Then Kizna grabbed Kurama’s wrist and teleported him to the real world. “Hey! Let me go! I didn’t mean to kill your father, I had been possessed by an evil spirit!! I’m really sorry” Kurama argued. “Fox boy, shut up!!” Then Kurama realized that she’d been possessed too. Kizna and Kurama had been friends for as far back as Kurama could remember. “Kizna!!” Kurama shouted as loudly as he could. Then the spirit possessing Kizna appeared. It was High Prince Heishin’s wife! “No! Anyone but High Princess Haruka!!!” said Kurama.

Back in Spirit World, Hiei, Kuwabara, Yusuke, Botan, Kayko, and Raptor were battling the last two Razeor masters. Hiei hit one of them with his shadow sword. The Jagan eye on the Razeor masters forehead turned him into Hiei’s slave. “Destroy the other Razeor master --NOW!!”

Hiei ordered. The Razeor master followed Hiei’s directions and destroyed the other Razeor master.

They find an old video phone and Botan calls her superior, Koenma. She tells him that they beat the Razeor masters. “Good work, but,” Koenma says. “But what?” Kayko says. “High Prince Heishin’s wife, High Princess Haruka, wants revenge. Kurama’s in trouble. Get to the real world.”, Koenma said , then hangs up. Everyone, plus the controlled Razeor master, went to the real world.

“Kizna! I’m your friend! I’m Kurama. Don’t you remember me?” Kurama cried. Kizna suddenly stopped attacking. “Stop Kizna, I don’t want to hurt you because I love you.” The love in Kizna’s heart drove the darkness away. High Princess Haruka couldn’t stand it because she needed hatred. She would die without it. When everyone got to Kurama, Kizna was unconscious from being Haruka’s slave. She was in Kurama’s arms, having fallen in love with each other.

From then on, they were all room mates and protected each other. They lived happily ever after when they didn’t have a Spirit World mission.
