Topic: Turning point opening up an unknown future
What if at Jusenkyo, there was more in the spring of the drowned girl than just a curse? Maybe an object of some kind that would assist Ranma in becoming a better person and gain control over the neko-ken. Granted this would make Ranma rather powerful a bit earlier than normal. That and the object's origins would need to be sorted out and preferably keep the thing from falling into the hands of Genma (or some one worse if that's actually possible). Anyway I hope there's an author who would feel up to the challenge of figuring out what to do with this little twist in the story.

EDIT: Okay. That didn't really sound so original now that I've thought about it.
