Trinity Iishii sat in the quad revising her notes for 'History of Garden' peacefully. pushing a jet black strand of hair over her shoulder she muttered to herself.

"The garden was made by Cid and Adel....to help protect......3 of the SeeDs who defeated Ultimica were from this garden......the sorceresses night was also a student....." She paused. "I wonder if Selphie Tillmit counts as someone from this garden...she was here when the war started. Just....she was orginally from....wheres that place." She bit her lip, her pen poised above her notes. "Trabia! That was it.......The garden was descovered to be abel to fly..."

She carried on correcting her notes, not hearing someone come up behind her.

*Ok anyone who wants can come up behind her.*

He leaned over to see what she might have been writing. "So, like, what were you writing?"

Jaine sit down next to her ready to do some studying, when a student knocked into him, glaring at him as he walked by.

Nice guy!

"Watch what you say, freak!" Seifer chuckled.

WHAT DID YOU SAY? Jaine leapt to his feet, pulling his gunblade from his side.

"Walk away Seifer." She growled the ball went in slow lazy circles.

yelling and woke up ...

"Jeez i was having such a nice nap!"

Jaine looked at him and narrowed his eyes, "You want to take her on, be my guest, he started to yell, "But I suggest you walk away." Jaine shrugged with a smile. "Didn't you get your butt kicked by three girls in the last Sorceress war?" His gunblade shone in the light and he continued to stare.

"Fight me and you might get expelled," Seifer laughed.

"Fight us, and the same might happen. Or worse...," he turned to look at Trinity and saw the same kind of resolve in her eyes that was in his.

"Listen lap dog. I don't know you, nor do i want to. But if you don't leave my meteor chain may get very familer with your face." She swung the spiked ball at his head but pulled it back when it was a centimeter away from his face.

"She's not my girlfriend, but I've heard about her, and she's serious." He twirled his gunblade.

"There's not even ammo in there is there?" The blonde man said with a smile.

"I don't put bullets in here unless I'm on the job." Seifer surged forward, dodging Trinity's weapon, and clashed with the twenty something. "Last chance, get away now!"

"What is going on here!" the three turned their heads and looked as a new person walked toward them.

"Mr. Almasy, please come with me." Eyeing the other two one last time, the two men walked away.

Jaine turned and smiled at what seemed his first friend in the Garden since arriving. "Well that was fun, you're pretty good with that thing!" He shrugged. "So, what were we about to do, before Mr. Attitude and scars came along?"

Trinity always studied. But that was because she didn't have any friends to do anything with. Sure some guys tried it on with her but that was becayse she was thin had a good body and was kinda cute and pretty. She shrugged. "Or do whatever." She flicked threw the item 101 book.

"What do you know about the Ring of Thantos? I thought I read something about it in my Item 101 book, but I kinda forgot it at my room." He thought about walking to get it, but she might not be back here by the time he'd arrive, or walking with her to get it, but Zhane was a ladies man, and Wilber was a slob. Okay he had two horrible room mates. Jaine sat down and looked at the book. Trinity looked at him and blinked. "I, er, there's something that rings a bell about it, but I can't put my finger on it. Could we look it up?"

'Hmm...i've seen her before...i guess i'll say hi...'

Sora walked up to Trinity. "Hi how r u?"

'Hmm...i've seen her before...i guess i'll say hi...'

Sora walked up to Trinity. "Hi how r u?"

Sora smiled."yep,i always do!" ^_^

Trinity decided long ago to study after every lunch. This didn't cut into her social life as it was the only thing othr than training to do at the garden.

"Bingo." She whispered in her kitten like voice.

They walked in a steady pace to the dorm, Jaine opened it and allowed Trinity to walk in first. By the way her skin paled, he knew she saw what he hald told her about the two other men. "Welcome to the pig sty!" he laughed. "So what do you think about it?"

Trinity blinked, turned to face him, and opened her mouth...

Suddenly the door opened and two boys entered.

"Hey Jaine-" The stopped when they saw Trinity standing in the room. One looked like a 'ladys man' and the other...well she didnt wanna go into the other. She ignored them and started looking around for a book. Well all the doors were closed so not a door stop. With her black maryjane she kicked aside a pizza box only to pale at something under it. Not wanting to guess what it was-although she was sure she saw it move-she looked around more.

"Yes and she also helped me beat Seifer Almasy today, so I wouldn't if i were..., Ah damn it Wilber, what the hell is my cat doing covered in pizza sauce?" Jaine yelled as the living bundle Trinity had moved away from meowed at her. His roommate burped and plopped down to look at his big book of bite bugs.

"I don't supose either of you know where i put a 2000 plus page book?" Wilber belched again and shuffled his weight, while Zhane did nothing but stare at Trinity's legs.

"Hello? The book?" Jaine repeated.

"I might know where it is...," Zhane smirked. "If your friend here might like to go to the movies some time!"

Jaine groaned and rolled his eyes. "Good grief, here we go!" he said, smaking his head.

"What about it cutie? Wanna go out?" the ladies man asked, putting a hand on her shoulder.

From her look, it seemed like Zhane was about to lose his hand. Jaine smirked and took a step back.

"I ... I don't know."

It was Jaine's turn to feel his blood boil. "You don't know?"

"I sold, it, to some girl... she seemed really interested in it."

"You sold Garden property?" Now Jaine was holding onto his neck. Zhane looked between the two of them and gasped.

"She was really cute," he cried. "Of course not as cute as you."

"Zhane...," Jaine growled.

"Deiling City, I think she went to Deiling City!"

"Oh, this is just perfect," the twenty something groaned.

Trinity sat down on the cleanest bed there was and put her head in her hands.

Jaine gasped and sat down next to her, "You feeling okay?"She looked liked she was having a massive headache.

"Why not just buy another book?" Zhane said quietly.

"Its a limited edition!" She sighed. She didn't even know why she was looking for this book. As this thought occured to her she looked sharply at Jaine. "Can i talk to you?" She stood up and grabbed his wrist dragging him out the door. "Why do we need this book?" Her eyes narrowed.

"There is a map, once translated properly, its said it can lead to the ring." He shrug, "I don't want that thing falling into the wrong hands."

She stared at him for a good long time, her eyes never losing their narrowed tone, but her actual voice pulled back some of the darkness that was in it. She asked him a simple word. There was a bit of suspecion, but also he could see worry in her eyes. They'd only met today, but she looked at him as if he was a big brother going down the wrong path, and she was a little sister with a will as strong as iron determined not to let him be a fool.

Jaine swallowed, repeating the word, "And? Um, and what?"

Again she tone grew darker, she pratically screamed what he meant by he did not know. "There are patches in my memory that have been erased somehow. I was hoping with enough training here, I might be able to piece together." He sighed. "Look, I know this is a lot to take in. I thank you for helping me this far, if you just want to turn and walk away, you can." He could tell that she was tempted to do just that, but she didn't seem to be someone who liked doing things half way, and not seeing it to the end. "Let me guess, I'm not going to be getting rid of you that easy, right?"

She led him to the girls dormatory and opened her door. Her room was-by all means-spotless. Everything was either white or a pale blue. All of her clothes were put away in a cupbored, she had no food and her pet kitten-a jet black female with bright green eyes-sat in a small basket in the corner licking her paw. It ran upto Trinity and rubbed itself around her legs before she picked the small kitten up and sat next to her computer. "Take a seat on the bed. Make yourself comfy. This could take a while."
