Appearance (Hair, eyes, build. Picture if necessary) – Just a regular guy. 5" 11' in height, medium build, 3-4 inch long brown hair, hazel eyes. Retroussé nose and cat-like eyes. A trust-worthy face but can portray murderous intent when he is angry.

Street clothes (Off-duty wear. Picture if necessary) – Wears tanned pants, usually a checked shirt and a lab coat.

Personality – Before his accident, Lawrence Whitehouse was a pleasant, rather shy man. He kept to himself, tried not to do harm to others and was devoted to his work in marine biology. However, his submissive and passive attitude was ripped apart and an angry, vengeful creature replaced him. Professor Aquatica seeks only to cause people misery in any way he can and conveys no other emotion other than sickening anger. Not as out of control as the Hulk but with similar intent.

Habits (Nervous ticks, bad habits, etc) – Used to bite his nails and scratch his head, now he tends to just throw people and cause havoc.

Likes – Used to like Italian food and golf. Now likes to smash things and hurt people.

Dislikes – Used to dislike seafood and conflict. Now dislikes people and everything else.

Skills (Fighting skills or general skills) – has great strength and flexibility, being able to target his rage and chaos and avoid those he wishes not to harm (though there aren't many). Used to be a great professor with massive intellect. Also, can breathe under water and out of water. Has lungs and gills.

Weaknesses (Physical, emotional, etc) – Cannot run very fast. Has a soft spot for young girls, cannot do harm to small children as he used to have a 5 year old daughter who died (see back history)

Background history – Born and raised on Cleveland, Ohio in a modest but privileged family, Larry Whitehouse was a happy child. He excelled in school, much to the dismay and envy of his classmates, but did not achieve a raring social life. He developed a love of fish and marine biology due to his grandfather's extensive love of fishing and the grand aquarium he so often visited. He was a lot smarter than all the other kids and discovered that he could breathe under water, though he kept this secret.

Following his ambition, he studied marine biology in college and university and one marriage, one child and a divorce later, Professor Lawrence Whitehouse was one of the most respected, intelligent and successful professors in the world. But, he became negligent of the things he had. He would forget to visit his 4 year old daughter, ignore his friends and co-workers and started to fall behind in his work. He was high on success but started to fall quickly. The death of his daughter tipped him over the edge. The 5 year old blonde, Molly, ran across a busy road to see her beloved father and did not see the car coming up on her left. She died in her father's arms.

Lawrence took it badly, blaming himself and suffering from mild PTSD. He was referred to a therapist but took to alcohol instead, seeking refuge in drunken ignorance. His ex-wife tried to reach out to him, wanting to grieve together but he pushed her away.

One night, when he was on one of his drunken visits to the lab to cry under the tables as he so often did, he ended up doing some (what he thought was) work. An explosion occurred and ripped out half of Lawrence's abdomen, almost killing him. Little did the doctors know, the explosion replaced half of his DNA with that of a squid. Tentacles started to grow out of the man's body, and his mind started to grow animalistic and uneducated. He attacked his ex-wife and his work mate and hasn't been seen since. Is rumoured to be lurking in the sewers or the sea. He is now known by the public as a story people tell their children of a crazy scientist who turned into a squid named Professor Aquatica (dubbed by the newspapers).

Personality - Ruthless, cold, calculating, manipulative, sadistic, and down right crazy. Has never been one to quit and is now trying to frantically pull her creations back into a working army

Likes - No one really knows...no one has ever had the time to ask but most would guess money, knowledge, science and herself

Dislikes - Enigma-1, Enigma-36, Enigma-27, Enigma-37, and the X-men for killing Sebastian Shaw

Background history - Has always had a knack for science so it was little surprise to her parents when she got a letter asking her to work at Johns-Hopkins. She did very well there and exceeded even their expectations, thanks to her work they made great strides in understanding the emerging field of genetics. It was because of this that Dr. Abraham Erskine approached her about helping him to create the world's first super soldier. She accepted and became his top assistant, after the serum which would create Captain America was finished she was released with a nice fat pay check and more time on her hands then she knew what to do with. She began travelling for the fun of it when she heard about a mysterious boy who could bend metal at will. She searched high and low for the child but it wouldn't be until several years after coming back to the states that she'd get to meet him. He was a small frail boy named Erik Lehnsherr, and by the looks of it not someone that anyone would expect to have super powers. She convinced him to let her take a blood sample which she scrutinized under a microscope every chance she got, by the look of it nothing too special was there. She began to wonder if she had been duped when, utterly by accident, she observed him causing a coin to levitate and then bend. From that day on she was obsessed with mutants and actively looked for them. It would be a few more years before she would finally start Project Enigma.
