Topic: I did see some...
I actually did see a little bit...when Beetlejuice is rising out of the model and he has the merry-go-round on his head there is a little figure of a smiling skull on the top of it, which later becomes Jack Skellington in the Nightmare Before Christmas

Ok...the thing I saw that I don't think even they knew they were doing was that Barbara was re-materializing or whatever you want to call it back into her wedding dress and right then, Otho said something about "This, our corpse." and I'm like...CORPSE BRIDE!

I found it interesting that you can see connections in all of Tim Burton's movies. Jack Skellington appeared as a pirate in James and the Giant Peach (Tim produced it). Stripes appear in BeetleJuice (his suit), James and the Giant Peach (Miss Spider), Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Wonka's cane), etc. He uses similar backgrounds and structures in his movies. For instance, Charlie's house has a hole in the roof just like Edward's house. Tim Burton also worked with the same actors in a lot of movies. Michael Keaton was in Batman, Batman Returns, and BeetleJuice. Johnny Depp is in Edward Scissorhands, Corpse Bride, and Ed Wood. The similarities and links between his movies never seem to end. Not to mention, Tim's character Vince comes up in a lot of different works including Vincent and the cartoon of BeetleJuice (Prince Vince).

Ok...I'm starting to notice a circle with Corpse Bride, Beetlejuice and Nightmare Before Christmas...In all three movies, someone's jaw falls off. Beetlejuice: Adam, Nightmare Before Christmas: Jack, and Corpse Bride: Alfred (AKA Gertrude's (AKA the widow's) dead husband). Like most Tim Burton movies, they all have something or another to do with death. There were a few other things, but I can't remember right now. I'll post them when I remember.

There is a sight gag in the Beetlejuice cartoon series in the episode "Prince of the Neitherworld"

If you ever get the chance, watch the episode, and if you do, reeeally study the features of the character "Prince Vince", I notice the odd familiar feel about him but I couldn't quite place it (ie. he looked like someone else)

As it turns out, it's Johnny Depp which this character bears a strong resemblance to!

And besides being one of Tim's frequently used actors, Depp had been the long time boy-friend of Winona Ryder who played Lydia in the film!

I think that's a circle of connections/ symbolisms...

I think the familiar feel may be because Tim Burton frequently uses similar renditions of this character. His idol was Vincent Price and he did a short about a boy who idolized him who was also named Vincent...the boy looks just like Prince Vince.

Spiderjuice
Yeah, he just doesn't give up on the stripes, does he? In fact, I was watching Sleepy Hollow one day, and at the very end of the movie when Katrina climbs out of the carriage wearing that poofy black and white striped dress I just burst out laughing, because I'd forgotten about that. Honestly, I don't know why it was so funny. I guess because just for a minute there I thought that Tim would be able to get through one movie without succumbing to his bizarre addiction to stripes.
