I thought the killer was so obvious that I actually decided he COULDN'T be the killer casue it was serioulsy just TOO obvious - and surely Janet wouldn't be that lazy.

I hated the recycled use of "line item under Entertainment in the Budget".

The Sex was boring, but at least there WAS sex.

I really think it was a - dont care any more, lets have some cupcake and babe sex to keep the fans happy, and let me go back to writing about Diesel.

I'm praying 18 is the last one, and she makes a choice!!!

On the plus side, it has renewed my spark for fanfiction, which I havent read for almost a year (too many brain cells required for reading during pregnancy)

I have to agree with you the story line was poorly done and you could work out who did what early on and I was left feeling lost as what the hell was this about.

I defiantly think it was a case lets make everyone happy and she will have sex with the both but that was poorly written as well. Oh but it was the curse that made her do it (come on)

Ive lost interest in the books and I refuse to read any other books she has written

I can see why she has chosen to release 18 in November because lets be honest book 16 and 17 are no good.

I think 17 was worse than 13-16. The only reason there was Ranger sex was to sell books. It wasn't even good sex and there was no sexual tension. Ranger would not have jumped into bed with Stephanie the day after she left Joe's bed. The plot was horrid, all Lula did was eat or demand food. I'm done with the series..JE doesn't care about her characters or her fans.

I have to say this is the worst book I have read , i knew who the killer was almost right away. I am sort of over the mom wanting to marry her off , grandma open caskets. it is just played over and over. Lula was about the only high point and that was a low point to begin with.. and the ranger sex was just not all that.
