Topic: Nailed
Being a huge angst fan I absolutely loved this episode. Just curious what other people's opinions of this episode is?

Star Girl11..First let me tell you this. You rock. I'm obsessed with Mr. Wolfe. Love his personality, love his fashion sense. Nailed was by far one of the best episodes i've seen from Miami. And the episodes there after touch on the subject of his potential sight loss *gasps*. But i'm thinking they'll do a lasic eye surgery episode..y'know? That'd be neat...and scary. If you have MSN messenger add me! semo81@hotmail.com If you can't add me...email me. I have plenty of story ideas if you need some!

Yay, another chance to talk about Nailed and drool over Jonathon Togo...You know, I did something really stupid and decided, since I'm addicted, to give up watching ANY CSI for Lent. I'm kind of regretting it now...why couldn't I have just given up chocolate? So I can't actually watch Nailed, or any other episode at the moment, so talking about it's great!! *big grin*

You gave up CSI for Lent. Ouch. I am Catholic but I am not very religious, my family moves around so much that the last time we really went to our own church was several years ago. We sometimes go but usually its one of my friend's churches that I am not a member of.

Anway I hope for your sake that you have a recorder since from what I can tell "Driven" is a bit Ryan-centric. I'm planning to start a new thread for that one after it airs.

Anyway Nailed was awesome I was rewatching parts of it before the final episode of Full Metal Alchemist aired (yes I am a FMA fan, and I really don't care what y'all think about it). You just gotta love this episode.

Well, since I can't get channel 5 here my parents video CSI for me anyway, so missing some episodes isn't a problem and one of my frinds gave me a heap of CSI DVDs a while back, so I'm not totally without CSI. It's the one programme, apart from Doctor Who, that I abolsutely HAVE to see. I get grouchy if I don't watch CSI. I was rewatching parts of Nailed, too, watched the entire episode about three times in a week.

If it were up to me the only things that would on tv would be CSI/Miami/NewYork Las Vegas The OC, COPS, Law and Order: SVU and Without a Trace.*giggles* I'm a Crime-Show buff. I'm going to go to ASFS(American School of Forensic Sciences)All the shows above really inspired me to shadow the local Asssistant District Attorny and Detective. I'm also going to be job shadowing a police officer!

Driven...that episode is the new one on Monday? How do you think its Ryan-centric?

On another note, i'd invite to you to add me to MSN messenanger if you have it!

Well, I would have to add Red Dwarf and Doctor Who that list. Ever watched Doctor Who? It's fantastic, my fav programme along with CSI!

You're going to be studying forensics? I'm so jealous! A member of my family was in the police force; dog handler, loved the job. I wanted to be a forensic scientist, but couldn't get the chemistry grades. I considered going back to college when I finish my course and taking criminalists, but I'm just going to write crime novels, amongst other things, instead. *grin*

I have msn and AIM; sjtanner42@hotmail.com, and my AIM is Obsidian Helm, if you want to chat!

I would like to add Criminal Minds and Cold Case to that list. Though truth be told I don't know some of the shows you mentioned. Care to give me channel names and times? That would be for Red Dwarf and Doctor Who.

I have a question what exactly is job shadowing? We do it a lot at my school because we are all about the sciences. WE have three strands one of which is a medical strand and yes we offer a forensics class. I am not doing medical though I am doing one of the other ones, the aerospace strand to be exact. They were suppose to start having an Earth Science strand but they never got around to it.

Anyway to answer your question Nicole you might want to watch the promo on the CBS site. I could be wrong but the way the promo brings it off it sure looks like it. Here is the link to the website:

http://www.cbs.com/primetime/csi_miami/

Anyway I added both of you to my contacts list.

Red Dwarf and Doctor Who are British TV shows; Red Dwarf isn't showing anymore except as repeats, and Doctor Who is between seasons at the moment. You might be able to catch either on UK Gold, although I don't know. I'm British, so I get them on normal TV channels. Doctor Who has been showing for thirty years or so; it's first few seasons were in black and white. The BBC brought it back last year with a new series; it's excellent! If you're interested in knowing a bit more, just messenge me.

Just recently Dr. Who has come onto the SciFi channel...haven't caught an episode but i've heard it a very cult-ish show! I hope to catch an episode soon. Job shadowing is basically following some in a certain profession around for the day. It's really fun! Just this thursday actually i was shadowing a X-Ray techy! His name is Scott Young..COOL GUY! Soon i'll be old enough to scrub in on Surgeries *giggles with excitement* I'm also going to the local crime lab for my birthday! Or to the FBI HQ's! I wish you two could come with me! It'd be (here's something Greg would say!)FANTASMIC time!

It's very cultish. Things from it - the theme tune, the Doctor's spaceship, some of the villains, have become cultual icons over here. It's kinda weird and the props are terrible (gotta love the BBC props department!)

Your job shadowing sounds awesome! I did two weeks work experiance at a vet surgery once; got to help out with the animals and the operations which was cool; it sounds kinda similar. I'm thinking of tryin to get a work placement at the BBC or for a publishing company, which also sounds similar. I'd love to get on the set of something like Waking the Dead, which is basically the British version of CSI!

And your birthday trip sounds seriously cool! Wanna see photos!! *big grin*
