In Wikipedia, it gives different names for them, with the usual one as the nickname. I know it's probably fake, but some of the names are funny.

Brandon, Stanley, and Jeremiah? Yeah, definately fake. Wikipedia is great when it's great and crap when it's crap. Because just anyone can edit Wikipedia pages, you have to have a critical eye when viewing material. Ignore these "new," imaginary names.

After sending my first post I recalled that you'd mentioned that Powerpuff Girls' names were changed as well, so I looked Blossom Utonium up on Wikipedia... Beverly "Blossom" Utonium? Sally "Bubbles" Utonium? Julia "Buttercup" Utonium? What sparked my interest is that Professor John Utonium's name was changed to Professor Antonio Utonium, which is the name an author in our fandom used in at least one story. I'm wondering whether or not she made these changes...

Anyway, the girls' and boys' names are as real as they come. Professor named the girls based on their personalities (Blossom because she spoke freely to him, Bubbles because she was/is thoroughly bubbly, and Buttercup because it also starts with a b). The Rowdyruff Boys named themselves in their debut episode, declaring themselves Boomer, Brick, and Butch, not Stanley, Brandon, and Jeremiah.
