Stinger - VXR42BTW, how's this for a plot of a car to take to a drag track?Make: Plymouth Model: Superbird Main Sponsor: Venom Appearance: Lime green cloth-top with black tribal swirls and knife patterns around the bodywork. Carbon Fibre wheels to save weight, and a more streamlined hood to cover the immense engine I’m going to throw in. Description: To give this Plymouth the right sort of kick, it needs the right sort of engine. As such, I lift one out the Dodge Ram pickup truck, and replace the standard engine with that beast – just to add to it, I stick a supercharger from the Pontiac Solstice Roadster on it There you go, shows that General Motors can stand without Corvette meddling in vehicles. The hood is raised slightly, but a gash is made in the base to allow extra air into the engine, and I’ve put little wings on the side to keep it in place at high speeds. The spoiler has been thickened a little at the stop for more down force, but the sides have been drilled to reduce weight. The tyres I’m running on are Michelins, for superb traction and grip. They will have next to no life span at all, but as one of my races won’t last more than eleven seconds with the sheer power out the back wheels, that won’t be a problem. | #52 May 23rd 2007, 7:39am | |
