Topic: Tokyo drift/Initial D crossover?
Now that Tokyo Drift is done...

Has anyone decided to make a Initial D crossover?

I'd Love to see Dom Torreto Drift against Bunta!

Sounds fantastic, but did you notice that in the film...

The sentō proprietor is reading Initial D, an anime and manga franchise about a young teenage boy whom has hidden talent in racing in the mountain passes of Gunma Prefecture.

DK bets his "86 Corolla" with Han on the result of a race, while Han puts up the "72 Skyline". "Drift King" Keiichi Tsuchiya is famously known for drifting in a Toyota AE86 Corolla Sprinter Trueno, while the 1972 Nissan C10 Skyline (popularly known by the Japanese as the Hakosuka (ハコスカ), meaning box-Skyline) happens to be Keiichi Tsuchiya's first drift car.

I noticed the similarities too, as well. Initial D is a great manga, and Tokyo Drift the best of the F&F movies. It's too bad more people don't appreciate the sport of drifting, or the cars that people race with. I like both the drifter cars and old muscle cars, but they really can't be compared. They're not that much alike....

American Muscle vs Japanese Tuner has been a big fight among most racing fans for some time. I think it would be great though if, in the next FatF, both of those classes had to work together agaisnt European Exotics, like Porsches, Lamborghinis and Aston Martins.
