However, then there are the Takari Shippers. What I am about to say does not nesscesarily apply to all the shippers of this pair, but a good many. I'm talking about the ones that simply cannot handle a shipping concept other than Takari.

Never, in my entire life, have I seen creatures as vicious as these people! Now, I've seen rabid shippers before, but these ones are brutal. These people will rip your throat out if you even MENTION a pairing that could take place other than Takari. They read other stories with different ships, mostly Daikari, just to review saying that Takari is better. They simply will not budge on the fact that their ship is the best, because according to them, it's destiny, the writers confirmed it, hope and light, etc. Y'know, whatever dribble they spew out to tear anyone who thinks differently from them down.

Is there really a reason for this? I know I'm not the only one to run into these people, right? So for the Takari shippers, why do you try to push your opinion on everyone else?

Takari is one of my fave pairings but the poorly written fanfiction that more often than not includes Davis bashing is slowly diminishing my respect for the pairing. I too have seen some quite avid Takari shippers and will admit that it is indeed a bit frightening.

As to why they do the crazy antics they do. Well, let's not generalize *too* much. There are also normal Takari shippers. XD Just the majority treat it as the most godly of pairings, and therefore won't take any other pairing.

Truth is that sometimes their bias goes a bit over the top. Most Takari's have TK portrayed as a puppy with his tail between his legs, head over heels for Kari. And they portray Kari as a weak, helpless, TK obsessor. Though that's not even half as bad as what they do to poor Davis! Davis bashing is VERY common in Takari fics, as is TK bashing in Daikari fics. In Takari, they portray Davis as a perverted jerk who wants nothing more than to sexually harass Kari so that TK can ride in on his white horse and save the day! It's so horrible of a story idea, I cannot imagine why someone would act on writing it!

Don't get me wrong. Many pairings also do this (Taiora-Sorato anyone?) but it just seems to show the most in Takari fics. Daikari does it too with TK bashing, but it's not *as* common as Davis bashing in Takari fics.

Why do they do this? I don't know and I don't think I ever will.

Unfortunately that's how the fandom goes, you also can find lots of contradictions on why some fans doesn't like certain couples and then they go and do on their fics what they say is the reason why they don't like those couples.

I'm a Takari shipper alright but I don't go with the crests thing or the similar digimon, I just go with their chemistry, how they care for each other a lot, etc.

I barely mention their crests on my fics save rare times and nothing related to their love anyways ^^
