Drowning in IceTopic: Who Hates Monica? So I can throw a dolphin at you? |
EucharionI'm not saying that I hate Monica. In fact I really lke her personality. She's cool and all I just wanna know is what the people think of her. I just wanna see other people's opinions. She really pretty too and I really like the color of her eyes. |
EucharionWait a minute, what's with the dolphin?| #3 May 03rd 2006, 12:11am
Drowning in IceI noticed you don't really hate Monica. *pats your head*I'm asking who does, so a dolphin can be thrown at them. Have you ever been hit in the face with a dolphion? It hurts. |
EucharionWell, I have never even seen a real dolphin my whole life so I don't think I know the feeling of being thrown with one. Back to the topic, who's your favorite character? I've seen in many forums they're favorite character is mostly Monica.... if it's not Monica it's Ridepod or Gaspard, but other than that some say Max. Oh and if your interested I have some delicious info about the upcoming Dark Cloud 3. |
EucharionMay I just ask you? Would you like Dark Cloud 3 to be a sequel to Dark Cloud 2 or a totally different series? |
Drowning in IceSEQUEEEEEEL!!!My favorite character is either Monica... or Gerald... Don't know why I like Gerald so much. Someone said the Dark Cloud 3 has been discontinued. Hope it's just a rumor. |
EucharionWell... I heard that rumor too, in the one I heard Dark Cloud 3 was postphoned... not discontinued so I guess hope still remains right? Anyway, I heard that it's still gonna be cel-shaded... and one of it's main themes will be between life and death. |
EucharionI totally agree with you with the sequel. Monica is my favorite character in the whole Dark Cloud series and it would totally ruin my day if I knew that they're gonna change Monica in Dark Cloud 3. I mean, she wasn't even given much credit in the last part of Chapter 7. They didn't place what happened to Monica in the future. |
Drowning in IceOoooooooh...I do have my doubts, seeing as how they used a new storyline when they made Dark Cloud 2. They should have given the girl some credit. | #10 May 05th 2006, 1:51pm
EucharionI totally agree with you.| #11 May 05th 2006, 8:23pm

Drowning in IceFor all we know, she could have been pushed out of her kingdom...| #12 May 06th 2006, 6:33am
EucharionOr her kingdom was destroyed and she began living with Galen in Gundorada Workshop. It reminds me.... I just saw a weird trailer or something about Dark Cloud 2 in a show called Cinematech. I saw some scenes that was never shown in the trailer or even in the game. It was just a mini scene when Monica was in Jurak Mall, I think she was praying or something like that. | #13 May 07th 2006, 3:38am
Drowning in IceI'm interested... did you see it on the internet? If so, a link would be nice.| #14 May 07th 2006, 6:13am

SPG inc.I ain't got much time so I'll just say if anyone says they hate Monica they will face my wrath *ROOOOOOOOOOOARRRRRR*| #15 May 07th 2006, 4:41pm
EucharionOh no! I didn't see it on any website... I just saw it on tv. I don't think I'll see it again, as I don't know what time does this show start. Besides... it's in Japanese... I can't read Japanese. *sobs...*| #16 May 07th 2006, 9:53pm
EucharionI'll tell that to someone I know who really hates Monica... He doesn't want Monica to be the heroine of the game... instead he chooses Max.| #17 May 07th 2006, 9:54pm
SPG inc.You can also tell them that the SPG inc. Special Forces are now gunning for them| #18 May 08th 2006, 1:30pm
Drowning in IceIndeed. I don't reaslly know anyone who hates Monica. Which is why I made the forum topic; to find them.| #19 May 08th 2006, 2:06pm
SPG inc.Well you better fail hopelessly, or you'll be scraping pieces of Monica haters of the walls of this topic for days| #20 May 10th 2006, 1:13pm
Drowning in IceCorrection: I'll be scraping burnt, mutilated pieces of Monica haters for days.| #21 May 10th 2006, 2:03pm
EucharionAside from that "someone" I mentioned, I don't think anyone hates Monica. Most of the forums I go to says they like Monica the most... even in popularity polls they still choose Monica as the most popular character in the game.| #22 May 11th 2006, 1:56am
SPG inc.Well thats natural. But let's be fair, DC2 would be nothing without Max, hmm?| #23 May 11th 2006, 12:36pm
Drowning in IceIndeed. I would have no lemons, seeing as how I don't do yuri, and there would be no little cute kid other than Olivie.| #24 May 11th 2006, 2:15pm
SPG inc.Yeah, but he's not a bad fighter either| #25 May 11th 2006, 3:11pm
Drowning in IceTrue.| #26 May 11th 2006, 3:30pm
EucharionYes...I agree that Max is the true main character of the story/game...I just hated it that they didn't make a "special" chapter wherein the players will be playing as Monica in a standalone adventure in the future. To make a long story short, I just wished that they made a chapter (much like chapter 8) specially for Monica because I noticed that in chapter 1 and in chapter 8, they make five special levels in the dungeon espacially for Max alone...why don't they make a dungeon especially for Monica to finish, right? | #27 May 11th 2006, 8:21pm
Drowning in IceI shall stand by that statement! *stands next to Eucharion's statement*| #28 May 12th 2006, 3:44am
SPG inc.Not only that but the 2nd half of mt. Gundor was only Max. OK, so it was dramatic and everything seeing Max boldly go into the magma chamber of the volcano souly to defeat Gaspard and save the his beuatiful compainion Monica, blah blah blah... But Monica is too cool to miss out on so much action| #29 May 12th 2006, 9:17am
Drowning in IceSeriously. I mean, hello! She exists (in the game)!| #30 May 12th 2006, 6:07pm
EucharionBut if...just if, they did make Dark Cloud 3 a sequel to Dark Cloud 2 and Max and Monica are still the heroes...and they did give Monica a standalone chapter, in your opinion, what would be the best setting for that chapter? For me, the best setting for a Monica standalone chapter is in her kingdom...'cuz I really want to see what Monica's castle looks like... | #31 May 12th 2006, 8:59pm

Drowning in IceI would like to see a new place, like a forest full of darkness, or maybe pretty much anywhere that seems to have a strong tie to darkness.| #32 May 12th 2006, 9:28pm
EucharionI have to agree with you...A dark forest tends to have that deep and cool aura that I easily get attracted to...| #33 May 13th 2006, 2:00am
SPG inc.I think it should be scaling the side of a mountain. But the atmosphere definatly must have shadows since Monica's history is full of darkness and misery| #34 May 13th 2006, 8:23am
Drowning in IceWe all pretty much agree it should have something to do with the darkness.| #35 May 13th 2006, 11:16am
EucharionWell, I agree with a dark atmosphere...but it doesn't have to so miserable...as I have seen Monica staying cheerful even with what happened to her.| #36 May 13th 2006, 6:57pm
Drowning in IceMonica and a miserable exterior never did seem to match. She was always happy on the outside.| #37 May 13th 2006, 7:24pm
EucharionThat's what I loved about her in the first place.Right now, my partner and I are in chapter 2 (for the third time) and we were wondering if any of you guys know what a Seventh Heaven sword looks like? And how do you get it? | #38 May 13th 2006, 8:20pm

Drowning in IceNo idea. I wish I could get to chapter two, but my stupid copy of the game keeps freezing in chapter one!| #39 May 14th 2006, 7:12am

EucharionI can understand the whole shy part...but maybe...nah forget it...I can't give good advice if I don't know if you have a good or bad relationship with your parents... If you have a good relationship everything will be just fine, just ask properly and someone is bound to understand right? Of course, if you have a bad relationship...I can't give any good advice... Sorry PugDragon, I suck at giving advices. | #47 May 15th 2006, 7:42pm
