Topic: Enemies

We're going to list a short description of enemies, based on their strengths and weaknesses, whenever a new one comes along. Some things may not be perfect, but it should give you the idea. And you don't need to worry about if an enemy has been made or not, the older ones can be ignored. This is just a reference for the latest enemy that was introduced.

Anyone may add an enemy, but try to describe these attributes:

*Name/species*

Defense: (none, weak, moderate, etc)

Offense: (none, weak, moderate, etc)

Speed:

Intelligence:

Attacks:

General description (optional):

So, for our first enemy:

*Regular zombie*

Defense: weak, but it feels no pain and will keep going until it's killed.

Offense: moderate

Speed: slow when walking, but can lunge quickly to attack

Intelligence: as you'd guess, they aren't bright. They can't work a doorknob (though they can eventually break down the door) nor can they climb stairs or use tools. They have no real strategy, except to occasionally travel in groups.

Attacks: Claw (low damage), bite (can be deadly, especially on the neck; can cause the victim to become undead), grab (increases the effectiveness of bite)

If someone is infected, he/she will have a day or so until he begins to turn. There is a small percentage of people who are immune, but most will succumb. Symptoms include itching, fever, dizziness, impaired eyesight, and in the late stages, the infected will begin to decay and have cravings for living flesh. If strong-willed, they can be sated with live meat of organisms besides humans, and keep some of their mind for a time. However, even if they are able to resist the urge to eat other humans, they will eventually lose almost all of their former intelligence and personality, and become a regular zombie.

It's up to you if you want your character to get bitten and infected, or not. If you wish to kill off your character or play as a zombie for a period of time, then you can have him or her become infected.

((It doesn't have to be that long))

*Hell Hound*

Appearance: That of large, black dogs with horns, crimson eyes, and forked tails.

Defense: weak

Attacks:

Bite - moderate damage, can be fatal when used on the throat, or possibly the stomach or spine.

Howl - can call other Hell Hounds into battle

*Moutain Dragon*

Appearance - A large dragon that resides in one of the caves of the mountain. Its appearance is somewhat like a giant, green lizard, but with leathery wings, and horns along its back. It has large, golden eyes.

Defense - High

Offense - High

Speed - Moderate (Can strike quickly with fangs and claws, can fly at moderate speed, but turns and walks slowly)

Intelligence - High; it is actually quite intelligent in its own way. Though usually dangerous and unpredictable, it may choose to give the benefit of its wisdom to those it deems worthy. It has strong instincts and will not easily fall for tricks.

Attacks:

Slash - Cuts you with its claws. Moderate damage.

Fiery Breath - It blows flames out of its mouth, catching anything remotely flammable on fire. Moderate damage.

Bite - It has a huge mouth that it could use to sever a human head or limbs in one bite. High damage.

((I almost feel like we should use dice to determine if an attack hits or not...))

*Zombified Chickens*

Appearance - They look similar to your garden-variety chickens, the only difference being that they're kinda dirty, their eyes are white, and they're rotting. Mmm mm good!

Defense - Low

Offense - Low

Speed - Medium. Can flutter about to dodge attacks.

Intelligence - Low

Attacks:

Peck - They peck at your legs and feet, or fly up and go for your face/eyes.

Egg bomb - While flying in the air, the chicken lays an egg. The eggs are zombified, too, and therefore smell terrible when they break open. And if you get any of the egg goo in cuts, eyes, mouth, or other openings, you will have a good chance of becoming infected.

Crap - They poo on you. Your shoes, your shoulders, the top of your head...and if you lay down, they'll do it on your face, too. Rather unpleasant and embarrassing, with the added effect of a chance of infection.

*Scorpion Men (Wow that's lame)*

Appearance - They're like men. They're like scorpions. They're scorpion men. Okay, they stand on two legs but their arms have claws/pincers at the end. They have poisonous stingers on their butts...oh god could this sound any more stupid. Well they'll mess you up if you don't watch it and work together!

Defense - Moderate (have some exoskeleton-like armor)

Offense - Moderate

Speed - Low

Intelligence - Moderate (a little lower than the average human)

Attacks:

Poison strike - They jab you with their stinger, causing paralysis, and in large doses, death. Low initial damage, but causes almost instant paralysis.

Cut - They cut you with their claws. They can sever your entire head or limb in one snip. High damage.

Hit - They could hit you with their claws, which can crush your bones or cause concussions... Moderate damage.

Ihave a question! If I suggest an enemy, can my villian character occasionly summon a large amount of them? Here's the enemy!

*Midnight Fairy*

Offense: Low

Defense: Low

Inteligence: High- Travel in vast armies.

Attacks-

Swarm- Can attack in groups of 10+ dealing 1 damage for each fairy.

Darkness Dust- It falls off thier wings and can cause temporary blindness if it gets on your eyes.

Dark Beams- Similiar to swarm, they combine their power to fire a beam of darkness. 2 damage per fairy.

I also have an idea for a boss that might serve my dude... if it Ok.

*Midnight Fairy Queen*

Offense: Moderate to high

Intelligence: High

Attacks:

Summon Swarm: Causes several midnight fairies to use thier swarm attack.

Summon Darkness- Creates a massive ball of darkness by absorbing a few fairies. Varying damage

Thwack- Hits target with her septer, which is spiked. Moderate damage unless your wearing a helmet.

Moonlight- Sense she's noctournal, she has the ability to heal slight wounds with moonlight. Only prevents excess damage.

Defense: Weak alone, moderate together

Offense: Strong

Speed: High

Intelligence: Low

Attacks: Darts, Fists, anything savage really.

#26 Nov 24th 2007, 3:23pm
Dragon Claw92
Imp

Damage: Pathetic

Offence and Defence: Pathetic

Bio: Imps are probably some of the weakest creatures ever. They are smart, so traps come in handy for them. They can be nasty, and they like to trick whoever they find. More of pranksters than anything else, but still irritating.

Appearence: Small, red bodied, red leathery wings, clawed fingers

Attacks: Kicking, punching, biting, their pretty much just very weak little kids with wings that like to scrap. Prefer emotional attacks than physical, meaning prepare for insults if you run into one.

(Oh, by the by, not trying to be a pain in the neck, but just a small correction for the creature "Nazgul". A Nazgul is actually the ring wraith itself, the flying thing they ride that resembles a wyyvern is actually called a "fell beast". Like I said before, not trying to nit-pick, just throwing that out there.)

Emperor Zoron
*Gorlake\dragon type*

Defense: high

Offense: high

Speed: high

Intelligence: It is clever and should not be underestimated

Attacks: Firebreath (high) slash (average) ramming attack (very high but low in accuracy)

General description: It is exactly the same size of a tiger and is covered in thick light weight scales. It has a horn that sticks vertically from its head and has four legs. It also posseses a long tail. It has many sharp teeth and also has two small tusks in it's mouth. It has no wings because it is one of the wingless dragon breeds. These creature dwell in hot enviroments like near (or inside) volcanoes or in deserts. They are quite violent when anything (including other Gorlakes) enter their teritory. Inexperienced adventurers should avoid these creatures as they will devour them if they are given the chance. One can tell if one is in their territory by their smell which is highly noticable. No one on record has ever tamed one.

Actually in the movie the winged monsters were not the 'nazgul'. The 'nazgul' were the ring wraiths that were flying on top of the winged monsters. The movies and books did not have a exact name for these winged monsters but the books did call them 'fell beasts'.

Attacks: Biting (high) Crush (moderate) Slash (high)
