Chris hugged her, relieved. "You don't know how happy I am to see you.." He gave her a quick recap of the day's events.

"Wow..." She shook her head, in shock. "Let's get outta here."

(Internet is totally screwed. It won't let me on FF.)

He grabbed her hand and with a small pop, they were in heaven.

Nightshade shakily got to her feet, her vision blurred. She rubbed her eyes, and blinked, frowning as things went dark. "Damn him..." She muttered under her breath, raising her hand and opening it. Thin black lines spread through her castle, and she followed one, her other hand on the wall as she walked, trying to find Fate.

Parker appeared in the center of Nightshade's lair. He walked directly to Fate's chamber. When he reached the large, wooden door, he paused. After a moment of thinking, he opened the door and walked to Fate. "Fate.." He adressed the demi-god. "I must ask why Megera is needed dead."

Parker walked up to Fate and poked him in the chest. He repeated his question. "Fate.." He adressed the demi-god. "I must ask why Megera is needed dead."

Fate blinked and looked down at Parker. "Because she has the abliity to control shadows and demons like Nightshade does and that is a problem.."

Parker chuckled. "I have seen the girl. She has no control over the demons. The demon are weak. She is weak. There is no threat."

Fate frowned. "Still she could become stronger...fine if you are so needing to keep her alive then she may stay alive. For now."

Parker nodded. He turned and left.

Nightshade found the room Fate was in, and entered, a frown on her face. "Fate, are you alright?" She asked.

Fate looked over at Nightshade and nodded. "Yes I am fine.."

She shook her head, before turning into good Nightshade. "Alright."

Fate looked at Nightshade for a moment and stood up. "To be blunt I want to talk to normal Nightshade right now not happy go lucky Nightshade.."

She sighed, looking sad, and changed back to normal. "Fate..." She shook her head, blinking.

Fate walked over to Nightshade and hugged her tightly.

Nightshade blinked again, then smiled slightly and hugged him back. "What's this for?"

"Because I've missed you..." Fate replied, still holding her tightly.

Nightshade smiled. "I've missed you too, Fate." She said, pulling back a little and kissing him.

Fate smiled happily and kissed her back but suddenly pulled away. "Namine.." He whispered and his eyes narrowed. "I will be righ tback..." He said and suddenly disappeared.

Nightshade blinked, and frowned, sitting down to wait.

Nightshade reappeared, and wandered around her empty castle, listening to the echoes. She felt weak and fragile, and finally couldn't take it. She fell to her knees and sobbed. "You lied Fate!" She yelled. "You promised me you'd always be with me, until the end of time! You left me here alone!"

She held her head, shaking. "N-now I'm alone again. Trapped on this world forever. Damn it Fate! Why did you have to get yourself killed!? Why..." Nightshade's body pulsed, and tears dropped to the ground. "Please... let me wake up. Please... Fate... how could you? Why would you leave me alone?" She lifted her head and screamed, the walls trembling as her magic went wild and crumbling to the ground. Nightshade felt magic crackle over her body, and closed her eyes as she shifted into a huge black dragon, with wings instead of arms.

A wild earsplitting roar erupted from her mouth, along with a torrent of black flames. She wasn't sane anymore. All memories of Fate and herself had vanished. Now all she wanted was the death of all who stood in her way. With another roar she left her castle, soaring up into the sky.

(Ahh crap.)

(Oh **. Like she wasn't bad enough.)

(... holy (bleep) (bleep) (bleep) what the (Bleep)... I am so scared! *Hides*)

(I guess we shouldn't blame Torval. Even if it makes us feel better. Question: if someone kills Nightshade, do they take her place as well?)

(When Nightshade dies, her magic will seek a new host.)

(Well, you see. There is a future RPG, off of this. In it, Torval recieves Nightshade's power after she dies.)

(Nope, basically what I think happens is once Nightshade is dead the magic isn't just thrown away it has to go somewhere so it possess someone else I guess.)

(Okay. Will it just clamp onto the nearest host, or look for a suitable one?)

(So Torval's Nightshade AND Fate? Freaky.)

(It might go through a few people.)

(Eh... he's in Fate's body right now because of a spell Nightshade cast on him. She's hoping one of the crew will kill him, because if they do, he'll revert back to normal. And Nightshade's magic wasn't always her own. She got it from killing the witch who trained her. Its been passed through several hosts.)

(Wow. That clears a lot up. Thanks, Living.)

(^_^ Well, sometimes my convuluted plots are a little hard to follow.)

(Not as hard as some I've read. And it's a lot more interesting. ^o^)

(But I thought of something. Even if someone kills Torval, Nightshade will still be insane, right? Or can Fate bring her back? And is Fate THE Fate, as in Destiny?)

(Fate is just a name.)

(If Fate comes back, he could probably instil some sanity back in her.)

Nightshade appeared with Fate, and kissed him. "I'll be right back. Now that you're safe here, I can take care of Parker." She vanished.

Fate nodded and waited, his eyes dark.

Nightshade reappeared, sighing and setting down the yellow pup. Then she walked over to Fate and hugged him close.

Fate hugged her back, trying to forget everything he had just found out.

"Something wrong Fate?" She asked, frowning.

"No of course not..." Fate replied quietly. Just the fact that he wanted to murder Parker a thousand different times...

"Please Fate, tell me."

"I'm just wishing for the death of a certain person. But it's unfair for me to want this so I will let the thought die.." Fate replied, his eyes unreadable.

"Fate..." She ran her fingers along his cheek. "Please, just tell me. I'll help you kill whoever it is..."

(*Claps Hands Excited!*)

"No I doubt you will..." He replied, grabbing her hand gently and looking at her. "Because you love him.."

Nightshade looked up at him, and then down, cursing to herself.

Fate nodded and his grip remained gentle. "Like I said, it is unfair of me to feel this way so I will speak no more of it..'
