Megera closed her eyes and sighed, shaking her head. I'm sorry...I shouldn't have said anything. She said quickly and turned to go.

Parker grabbed her, this time by the hand, and pulled her back. "Don't apologize."

Megera turned back to look at him with the same vibrant green eyes as before. Why?

Parker hated himself for saying it, "I like you too..."

Megera let out the breath that she hadn't realized that she ahd been holding in and stared at him for a moment. I don't see how..She said quietly and dropped to the couch, beside him.

"Pardon?" He inquired, still uncomforatble.

I don't see how you could possibly like me....Megera replied quietly, and leaned back, eyes closed.

Parker looked over at her. "What's not to like?"

Megera laughed softly and opened her eyes to look at him.

Parker bit his lip. "Awkward silence."

Megera nodded and looked away, not helping a blush. I know a song you should like... She suddenly said and picked up the viloin, beginning to play a happy, bouncy song.

Parker rolled his eyes. He chuckled. He was going to be in trouble with Nightshade. Suddenly, he stood. Slowly, he walked over to Megera and reminded her that she owed him another thank you hug, for Angel.

Megera smiled softly and suddenly hugged him tightly, not being able to contain her shear happiness for a moment.

This time, Parker breathed deeply and hugged her back, maybe a tad bit too hard.

Megera was breathless by the hug, probably because of the force of it, but smiled happily still.

Parker felt odd. "I feel odd." He pointed out.

Megera pulled away quickly and looked down. Sorry...

Parker shook his head and pulled her back. "It is a good feeling. A new feeling.."

Megera smiled softly, and hugged him once more, not as hard.

Parker smiled and returned the hug. "Megera, sorry to ruin this and all.. But.. I am really tired and need to sleep." He walked from the room breifly. Parker dashed back in and kissed her cheek quickly, then vanished.

Megera smiled and spun in a circle before walking off to bed.

(Bad people, tryin to drown Tury while I was gone... ^^ meh... I hate punishments...)

Lucien reappeared out of the shadows, bending down to pick up and stroke one of the puppies who had gained his shadow powers and had been following him. It was the smallest, her fur white and black. Lucien, not one for names, simply called the puppy Number Six, for obvious reasons. He sighed, slumping down on the ground with the puppy licking his face. He had been doing business for Nightshade the past few days, and only came back to make sure everything was alright. After seeing Tury asleep in bed with the other five puppies, he nodded and set Number Six down with the others before leaving again.

Kyuubi was in the crow's nest, sitting cross l;egged, deep in thought "Nami..she's..I can't describe but something about her..is different from Jen...it's like..she dosent care if someone iss a kitsune or the king of demons or anything..she..undersstands...un-like Jen who just saw the fur." Kyuubi scowled at the thought "But she's different...I hope I won't regret what I'm going to tell her later...I don't want to have a repeat of what happened with Jen..."

Liz sighed, Irek had fallen asleep in the hammock before he could awnser her, but was glad "How much longer...?" she thought, still lying against Irek's chest, eyes closed in thought.

Parker woke and wrote a note to Megera. It read, Going to Nightshade's lair.. Need to figure things out. See you.. -Parker.. He placed it on her pillow and vanished, going to find Fate.

Lucien reappeared, covered in his own blood, and collapsed onto the deck.

Java walked over to Lucien. What happened? He asked, concerned.

He pushed himself up into a sitting position, staring up at the bear. "Goblins..." He gasped out. "The... negotiations went bad..."

(Hey just a quick explination to why i havn't been on. Kinda like what happened to Jay....my mum said i'd been spending WAAAAY to much time on the comp and i can't get on untill friday but it's ONLY for this week...I'm really sorry guys!Bye!)

Java looked down. Are you going to be okay?

He flinched, grabbing one of the wounds on his chest. "Y-yeah. I wasn't expecting to get attacked."

Java nodded his head. Alright.. If you need anything..

He nodded. "Don't tell anyone about this, alright?"

The bear nodded and layed down on the deck.

He shuddered, before passing out on the deck.

Kyuubi sighed as he climbed down from the crow's nest, he brushed a piece of his hair out of his eyes as he sat on the railing, watching the ocean.

*Shadow's Nightmare*

"Maria!" Shadow yelled, pounding his fists against the escape pod's wall as he watched in horror as a G.U.N. agent raised his pistol, aiming it at Maria.

"Hand the experiment over," the soldier said. "Or I will shoot." Maria looked from the soldier, to Shadow, and back again before pushing the eject button. Instantly the soldier fired his gun, hitting Maria in the chest.

"Shadow..." Maria said quietly as she lay on the floor. "Give the world a chance to be happy...bring them hope..." She breathed her last.

"Maria!" Shadow pounded against the glass again, but he knew it was too late. The pod ejected, and the scene changed...

*Reality*

"Maria..." Shadow murmured. Maria watched Shadow nervously, and she shook him gently.

"Shadow, wake up." She said softly. The hedgehog didn't wake.

Taratiel leaped nimbly down from the railing, nearly dislodging Kyuubi. Uttering a hurried apology, and stepping over Java, who was tending to Lucien, he touched Maria gently on the shoulder. "Something wrong?" he asked.

(Ummm.... not too much. Lucien's still working for Nightshade, and got really wounded by some goblins, but he's back on the ship.)

Lucien sat on the deck, his cloak hiding most of his bandages, as the pups swarmed around him.

Tury walked onto deck slowly, in search of the missing puppies and saw Lucien. "Lucien?"

He smiled up at her, his hood down. "Hi Tury." Lucien said, as one of them tried to climb up him.

Tury watched him for a moment, trying to hide the exhastion in her eyes, then finally sat next to him. "Hi..."

Lucien frowned, then wrapped his arms around her. "What's wrong?" He asked.

"Tired...just tired." Tury replied softly then buried her head in his shoulder. "W-where were you?"

Lucien sighed. "I... had business to take care of. I'm really sorry I wasn't here."

Tury held to him for a moment, eyes closed tightly then finally took a deep breath. "I missed you..." She murmered and looked up at him with startling green eyes.

Lucien blinked in surprise at her eyes. "I missed you too, Tury." He said, staring at her eyes.

Tury's gaze softened a bit and she managed a soft smile. "You okay?"

"Yeah." He said, but winced when one of the pups pushed against a wound on his chest.

(Crap! This is so unfair...my mum is making me go to bed! OMFG! *sighs* i swear i will be on SOOO Much tomorrow..i'm so sorry...can you tell the other purty please!?!! TY jay you rock my socks!)
