Topic: The Disney Musicals
Has anyone here seen a live Disney musical like Beauty and the Beast or Lion King?

I know Beauty and Beast, Lion King, and Aida are musicals Disney produced on Broadway. I haven't seen them though. There's also Snow White A Enchanting Musical in Disneyland and Aladdin in Disney's California Adventure. Are there any in Walt Disney World? Anyone know?

As for me, I've seen the live Snow White and Aladdin musicals. My family and I had annual passes to Disneyland the year Snow White opened so we decided to check it out. It was a really long wait in the hot and crowded Fantasyland, but it was really worth it. It was so awesome! There were a few lines that Snow White said that were uncharacteristic, but it was great overall. Especially the ending when they had confetti drop on the guests (But I think they released a little to early by mistake) in the shape of rose petals.

For the Aladdin one, my family just breezed in because we were lucky just to make it in time. It was really nice. My favorite part was when Jasmine and Aladdin singing a whole new world. They did a amazing job with that. Otherwise it was a little boring. What really made it entertaining were Genie's oneliners (I heard they change it around every showing to make it fresh.) Sadly, I can't remember any of them.

So, anyone else seen the musicals on Broadway or in the theme parks?

You've seen the Lion King musical?

I'm so jealous. My Uncle and cousin have seen it too while it was in town.

I saw Lion King for the third time a few days ago. It was, of course, as good as ever. I've seen a production of BatB, but not the Broadway one. Personally, I like Lion King better. The music is great and the costumes are awesome. BatB is good, though.

Never heard of it. What is it about?

I heard there's a new Finding Nemo musical going to Walt DisneyWorld. One of the songs is "The Big Blue". I heard it's like "it's a small world after all."

Look it up on Wikapedia. It's an amazing musical. I had no idea Christian Bale could sing.

I've seen Lion King twice, and I also have seen Snow White in FantasyLand.

Last time (Which was the only time) I went to California Adventure I saw a poster thing for the Aladdin musical and I wanted to see it really bad! It's my favorite Disney movie next to Mulan. Partially because I was in my school's production of it and partially because it's just plain AWESOME!!!

I saw Beauty and the Beast on Broadway and *loved* it. It was fantastic.

I hear The Little Mermaid isn't get the best response, though... Pity.

I was lucky enough to see Beauty And The Beast for my birthday and get 2nd row tickets (Could practically reach out and touch Belle's hand). And my mom just gave me Lion King tickets for Christmas.

Sweet! Did you get the seats by the theater aisles?

That's where the animals walk through at some points.
