XegrotI've got a new idea for a Catscratch story! It's about Waffle and his love for basketball. There's more info on my profile page, and I named it, "Rebound". |
SpongeBobAcademyAs you can see, all the stories about my character is deleted, if you agree for me to write a story pack of him, his name WILL be different soon |
XegrotWhy are you gonna change his name, though? His name was good before... |

Aundul XaldinI'm feeling sick right now. ugh... really, in reality, my body refuses to... never mind, it was only a fart. :[ By the way, In case nobody really noticed, I posted another story called, "ThunderPants Brand Coffee." Humor. I hope that I can get some reviews soon. But it's your choice. You can choose to read it... or not. It nothing special really, probably dumber than that "Heritage Hysterics" Stories that I also got 0 replies for. But I'm trying. Somehow I don't think that really matters. But I'll stop rambling for today. It's my first time that using the forums. | #11 Jan 07th 2007, 11:21am

Myst KnightI just got an idea for a Gordan/Kimberly-type fic. (...what, it's not that much different than Roger and Jessica Rabbit. Bah) The premise is that Human Kimberly is being tormented by a grade school boy her age. This of course angers Gordon, but what really gets to him is Blik's testiment that the boy is doing this because he likes Human Kimberly, and that they have a love-hate relationship. Of course Gordon won't have any of that, and with the help of Waffle and his collection of Japanese manga, he prepares to beat the boy at his own game. Indeed, come next school day, Gondon is dressed like Ranma from Ramma 1/2, ready to insult his way into Human Kimberly's heart...and failing miserably. Gordon: "Human Kimberly!" HK: "What is is?" Gordon: "I just wanted to say that you're an uncute...an uncute...(gives up) ...aye, you're so lovely, Human Kimberly." HK: "Why thank you, Gordon!" That's the basic idea for the beginning. | #12 Jan 10th 2007, 2:24pm

Aundul XaldinSounds like a story worth reading. When you do post it, I'll be sure to get the first review for it. Go for it!| #13 Jan 13th 2007, 3:15pm

Irk SpleeOh, do write and post it, please! I'm dying to see Gordon/Kimberly gone right. "Valentine's Gift" is a good start, but seeing them as a couple instead of ending right when Gordon fesses up... I'm confident that it can be done and not be completely disgusting. Just not by me! As I said in the comments for chapter 5 of From Kittens To Cats on my DeviantArt account, I've tried it more than once, and every time I fought back the urge to vomit a little before deleting the thing from existence. I give up. It's hard, but it can't be impossible... please, someone, prove me right!| #14 Jan 23rd 2007, 4:12am

XegrotI would like to see something like that. It sounds interesting. As long as it isn't one of those super mushy fanfics I've seen around here (No offense to anyone who writes them!) Hopefully we see some decent pairing stories around here like some of the ones I've seen in the Catscratch category. Post it as soon as you can!| #15 Jan 23rd 2007, 3:24pm
Irk SpleeI don't mind overly-mushy... though I will agree, it does get tiring. And I don't quite think it works with Gordon/Kimberly. Or anyone/Kimberly, for that matter. See my review on a certain fic for my opinion on THAT... yeeegh... no offense to the author, but yeeegh.Edited to remove stray punctuation mark that came from nowhere. | #16 Jan 23rd 2007, 7:15pm . Irk SpleeHey, if any y'all care, I've got a new story up. Meant to drop by and post, but just kinda sorta well didn't. It was planned for Valentine's Day, so prepare for a wee bit of mush. Oh yes. But fear not, love cynics out there, for I'll be back to my usual slice-of-life style with the next one... and while I'm keeping a lot under wraps for now except for a two-sentence blurb on my profile and some character info elsewhere if you get lucky and find that forum, you action fans may be in for a treat when it comes to my fourth fic!Assuming it doesn't completely crash and burn. Eh heh... | #17 Feb 02nd 2007, 3:45am

XegrotChapter Six is up for Conroy's Tale! I know I've been like... dead for a long time, but I decided to work on it and it's finally done. Yay! Expect Chapter Seven in maybe one or two weeks time. Maybe later. Peace out!| #18 Feb 19th 2007, 9:22pm

XegrotI hope none of you peoples have forgotten about me! It's been so rough lately and I haven't had the time to work on Conroy's Tale... or any other story for that matter. School, girlfriend, school-work... stress. Oh well, Chapter Seven is up for all those who wish to see. Don't worry, I'll be back on soon enough with Chapter Eight, and then, when Spring break rolls around, I'll dedicate my time to writing the rest of the story... well not the REST of it, but a good portion... you know what I mean.Sorry, also, about not commenting much on the other stories. I want to, but I don't have time to read them. I'll get at them soon, and then you'll see some reviews from me. Ok people! I'll see ya'll around! -Xegrot | #19 Mar 31st 2007, 12:17pm

Aundul XaldinNOTICE from Aundul Xaldin: Hey, to anyone who reads this, I have a request. I've been working really hard as of late on other things, as well as another Catscrach Story witch will be like as if you were playing a game! But It needs a good title... plus, in this story I'll introduce an OC into a storyline that will be so twisted an bizzare, your brain will fly out! Any suggestions for a name? | #20 Jun 09th 2007, 8:23pm
XegrotIs "Action Waffle" the one you were requesting the name for? It looks like you already have a name.If that isn't the one, let me know! -Xegrot | #21 Jun 10th 2007, 9:51am
Aundul XaldinI'm afraid not. It's actually a Story that takes place before A huge project Story I've been planning for years now, called REANIMATED. The Story takes place before that, but it's not Action-Waffe to answer your question. I still can't think of a name for it. Got any ideas? -AX | #22 Jun 19th 2007, 5:40pm

XegrotWell, a story's title is the LAST thing you want to add to it. Unless the story has been completely outlined and you know what it's about, you shouldn't even take a title into consideration until it is finished. You should think about that...Unless this is a "go-along-with-what-you're-writing" story. Then, it gets even harder. With fan-fiction, where you post your chapters one at a time, you need to think about your chapter ideas ahead of time. Same goes with the plot. Only when you truly know what your story is about will you be able to find a suitable title. Well, that's all I gotta say for now. Happy writing, and don't worry, a good title will come to you soon. :) -Xegrot | #23 Jun 19th 2007, 5:54pm

Irk SpleeFor me, title is always the hardest thing to do. If anyone keeps watch on my profile, you may notice that the titles for stories change a LOT. In fact, "Strays" didn't even become that until it got posted. It was "Strays and Pets", before that it was "A Pack of Lies", and before THAT it was "Camilla and Olympia" and had absolutely nothing to do with Catscratch. I've kind of had a personal agreement now that I won't title things when they're completely done- especially since, such as the case of "Sure Signs", they end up taking different twists than I had in mind.| #24 Jun 19th 2007, 6:46pm
Aundul XaldinWell I DO have a story plot in mind, and like you said, I take a liking to the whole "go-along-with-what-you're-writing" style of things but not everything in my head is so loosely scattered. truth is, I had no idea about how to get along with it. Still, I'm going to try my best. and I'll come up with SOMETHING, I just haven't thought of it yet. I not going to worry. Thanks for your advice. Right now, I'll just finish, "Bean Scout Honor:GP" and see what happens. Thanks. -AX | #25 Jun 20th 2007, 12:19pm

Cartoonatic55Um, I have an idea. I think I'm gonna call it "Waffle's Words". Here's the description:Waffle's Words: Waffle overhears Mr. Blik saying a bad word after he accidentally shut the bathroom door with his tail still stuck in the doorway. After that, he starts saying that word. Then Gordon and Mr. Blik try to get Waffle to stop saying it, but no matter what, he can't stop saying it. Can Gordon and Blik get him to stop before he gets arrested for his out of control cursing problem? | #26 Aug 11th 2007, 10:02am
Snowy Blue SaphireWow cool! Nothing funnier than a cursing waffle lol! I'm working on a fanfic myself. Its about Gordon and Human Kimberly. In which I plan to do the following:1) Get Kimberly to notice Gordon the way he notices her. 2) Show how life would be like for both of them WHEN they are in a relationship. - I'm just curious how Gordon would really say to her daily when they are in their relationship. Any dialogue ideas. That's where I'm stuck. Especially what Gordon would say to her daily one being her boyfreiend. | #27 Nov 24th 2007, 9:28pm
Irk SpleeFor the dialogue, IMO, there's three ways to go about this pairing-1. Show spirit with rainbow and gumdrops and SQUEE. I find this adorable, but best suited for one-shots and if we were a bigger fandom and all of them were like this, it'd be boring. ^_^;; 2. I can't see the show EVER having a healthy-but-still-slightly-troubled relationship, but that's the next step up and probably the safest bet. Even the most deeply in gooshy love pairings are bound to have their disagreements. This is the one I suck at most. I'm not good at happy mediums AT ALL. Something I've gotta work at. 3. Nickelodeon would NEVER touch this with a fifty-foot-pole, but let's face it, teenage/adult/NOT CHILD cat and eight-year-old human? Not healthy. No. NOT DANG HEALTHY. That's the aspect I work with the most and I think what I'm working on now involving that little snag is coming out beautifully, but I don't know if this angle would inspire a lynch mob. It's not exactly family-friendly, no matter how you slice it... Well, whichever way you decide, I wish you luck! Despite the inherent issues, Gordon's such a sweet character and this is one of my favorite pairings in the history of forever. WE NEED MORE SHIP FICS. | #28 Nov 24th 2007, 9:48pm
Snowy Blue SaphireINDEED WE DO!!! We do need more ship fans. I plan to make my fic a long one. There are curtain things that I want included on my fic. 1)Kimberly is having a nightmare one night. She tosses and screams, because she's scared. Waffle hears it and says to his brothers that someone is screaming. Gordon realizes that it is Human Kimberly and goes to her. (Scene too sweet to describe). 2) Eventually through a long twist of events Kimberly accepts Gordon's love and gives him a chance. How old do you think Gordon is? About that whole unhealthy relationship thing. Have you seen Spongebob? Plankton has a wife. Not just any wife. A computer wife. Any ideas of what could go in the middle of those two events? Good luck on your fic! | #29 Nov 25th 2007, 11:45am
Irk SpleeYes I've seen Spongebob. Did I ever say that was normal? *smirk* I actually once had a discussion with someone about how if you're so lonely you build your own wife, perhaps something's wrong with you... dang I'm lame...It's just one of those horrible things I do- I over analyze some cartoons within an inch of their lives. It's ridiculous, but I find it fun, so eh. And it doesn't HAVE to be that way- I'm the freak, not you, go ahead and write goop! Goop is fun! I wrote goop! Look at Sure Signs! As for the age... a Nicktoon encyclopedia o' sorts came out recently. I was flipping through it in the store and in the Catscratch section, there were some old storyboards. One had the cats (still with their Gear designs) in a fast food restaurant. Waffle ordered a kid's meal, and one of his brothers (I forget which) piped up with "Waffle, why do you still order kid's meals? You're seventeen years old!" Considering they're all the same litter... I know, old storyboard, things have changed since that got scribbled, but make of it what you will. Good luck with your story! I wanna see it! ^_^ Heck, if you manage to make a multi-chapter goopfest, I commend you, because I don't believe I've ever seen such a thing that actually came out well. Whether it's a matter of skill or something that simply can't be done, I'm not sure. But good luck! | #30 Nov 25th 2007, 12:23pm
Snowy Blue SaphireAre you sayig that Gordon is seventeen years old? Thanks for wishing me luck. What do you think of that nightmare scene I had in mind?| #31 Nov 25th 2007, 12:59pm
Irk SpleeGah! I thought I commented on that! I got too wrapped up in my own! ;_;The nightmare scene is DEFINITELY Gordon, what with his whole "warrior who will protect" shtick. Of COURSE if Kimberly were scared he'd be right there to protect and comfort... It fits quite perfectly. Would love to see! ^_^ As for the age... yep. Of course, in my stories I've been going by cat ages and I'd say about two years have passed from the start of the series to the end of my last, but I think my cat ages at the start-of-series point were equivalent to seventeen, so I didn't mess up TOO badly. Hah hah. I win. =3 Oh dear I'm rambling about mememe again... | #32 Nov 25th 2007, 1:05pm

Snowy Blue SaphireCool! Hey does Kimberly make an appearance in any of your Catscratch stories? If she does could you tell me which ones?| #33 Nov 25th 2007, 1:21pm
Irk SpleeShe only actually appears in " From Kittens To Cats " (chapter 3 onward). Just couldn't get her to fit anywhere else. Ah well, I'm nowhere near done, I'll find places. The poor girl doesn't deserve to be pushed to the side!| #34 Nov 25th 2007, 1:28pm

Aundul XaldinI'm really sorry about what happened, and try to understand:Making a 'Slash' Paring was not what I was trying to go for, I was trying to make it funny. I'll delete the story then. | #36 Dec 07th 2007, 5:28am

Irk SpleeUm...? Slash pairing? What story? I'm guessing "Dead Rats", since that's gone, but I don't recall any slash pairing- nothing to be taken seriously, anyway. That whole story was just too incredibly silly to take ANYTHING in it as relevant....not that that's a BAD thing! I can tell by some of your previous writing that you're a fan of stuff like Family Guy. It shows through your sense of humor in your comedy bits. That's the reason I don't review them; I can't think of anything to say because there's nothing inherently WRONG with it, it's simply not my style. So of COURSE I don't like it. Anything I say would be akin to wandering into, say, the South Park section and giving bad reviews because I don't like the show. Pretty stupid, eh? It doesn't necessarily mean you should stop writing it, though! Sure, if you're the only Catscratch fan with humor that goes that way, writing for the show may seem fairly pointless, but hey, plenty of fandoms out there. You'll find a group with your tastes. Not only that, but I really did like "Beckoned Key", despite the flaws I pointed out. If you wish to stick to Catscratch, perhaps you should keep to that sort of thing? Or maybe find a new thing. Whatever works out best. Well, whatever you decide to do, best of luck! P.S. Thanks for the compliments on "From Kittens To Cats"... and on my new one, while I'm at it. Knowing I'm doing halfway-decent means a lot. | #38 Dec 07th 2007, 8:37am

Aundul XaldinWell in any case, I don't think I'll be trying to work on any "comedy" for Catsratch for good LONG while. I'll be too busy working on RENANIMATED for that. When I've finished, or IF I ever finish, I'll come back. But only if I'm sure I understand the meaning behind the word, "Comedy". With that, I'd do so much BETTER and even find more ways to incorporate a bunch of interesting comedical elements besides Waffles' "Splee". But this is only something I theorize... (Comedy of course means: 'When everything works out of unpleasant circumstances'.) You and Xegrot can 'take care' of Catsratch. Later. -AX | #39 Dec 10th 2007, 4:40am

Aundul XaldinIf anyone happens to read this post, it's an unrelated one. Has anybody heard of the newest Horror movie coming out? "The Strangers"? -AX |
XegrotSadly, no. Wow... how long have I been gone? I can't even remember now. |
Irk SpleeXegrot's alive! Whoo! Welcome back, dude! AX, I haven't seen it - I don't follow movies very much (I is sad sad animation nut), but I do notice it influenced "A Plot Twist", you said? By the way, I HAVE been reading that - I just haven't reviewed because I don't know what to say and "good job, write more!" just doesn't seem fair. |
XegrotYes. Sophomore year's been tough, but I'm hanging in there and summer's coming soon. :D |
Irk SpleeUgh, I feel you. Junior here... I swear that algebra was invented to make people curl up in a defeated little ball. Shudder. Well, anyway, can't wait until summer - SO many ideas wormed their way into my brain this year, but I haven't been able to do very much once the year really got going ("You're A Mean One, Mr. Blik" and "Scrapbook" were just "oh, hey guys, guess what, I'm not dead" dealies, basically). Oh, but this summer... especially since I have a lot more one-shots in mind, rather than the sprawling "epic" that I had to split into two stories ("Daniel" and "Strays")... I do hope to be churning 'em out this summer! ...er, churning them AFTER working hard and editing editing editing, of course. Two more weeks, come on, two more weeks... |
Aundul XaldinI liked those stories. They were actually pretty funny. Especially the drunk part, LOL. And you're a Junior, huh? Well, I begrude your luck. Come senior year in the terms of your case, I hope you've got a something akin to Samurai Armor or a high degree of poise and communicational prowess. Me? I'm a Senior, and I'm graduating in about 2 weeks. I'm leaving High School. Only God knows I'm not so happy about it... What I DO know, is that the "Last" Chapter to the "A Plot Twist" Series on Catscratch will be solely influenced by more scary material, a.k.a., "Horror Movie Trailer" related material. I want it to be scary. I'll put out every writing prose at my whim and disposal to turn it into a shocker. (But NOT so much. I'd have to bump up the rating to M. LOL) And EXACTLY like the title of ONE Horror Movie I had seen in a convenience store, to use it in this context regarding the story, "There Will Be Blood". -AX |
Irk SpleeSo, if anyone who cares hasn't noticed yet, new story up from me. "Daddy Blik". Little thing mostly dedicated to what would happen if Blik was a father. Answer - TOTAL PANIC ATTACK. So, well, yeah. My first attempt of first person that I didn't scrap - but writing it's really fun... did I do good on that, guys? What do you think? Should I write first person more often, particularly for the calmer focusing-on-one-character's-emotions stuff, or stick with third? Things with focus on a LOT of characters will be third for the sake of my sanity (I am NOT doing first-person for more than one character, just big no), but I'm thinking with stuff like Light/Dark, Everything For You... er, well, yeah. Anyway, on the writing front, it's likely that I won't be touching my word processor for the next week or so. School finals. Fun fun fun. |
NekoGirl001Perfect, just perfect! I've just read "Sure Signs" & finally got to finsh reading "From Kittens to Cats" (I had first found it when it was just half-finished). I have to say: Despite his personality, Blik has been my favorite from the first episodes that aired (as they premiered), & I just could not have hoped for better stories from you! I wondered if they had a place to discuss CS fanfics here, & I'm glad I found it. I dunno if that many people care for it, but I just LOVE Blik & Katilda as a couple. I was sure Blik would be the LAST of the three cats to fall in love, but it looks like he was only second to! I've found these two as my newest couple obsession, after returning to liking Catscratch again & finding out its made its way to NickToons Network, a channel I can watch. I didn't expect for there to be any 'current' fanfic writers for Catscratch, let alone Blik & Katilda, but I'm happy to see I was wrong about not just one, but both! I'm super glad B+K is the most popular, since its my fave couple here. Gordon & Kimberly's super cute, but I just like Blik the most (betcha he wouldn't argue, lol), & that probably helps to let me see B+K as my fave couple. I don't "fangirl" on Blik OR B+K, just my fave couple & character of this show. Just to clarify. ^^ So yep, I'm just loving any story you create that's centered on, or even partially focuses on Blik &/or B+K. I read your profile (I always do this with writers I like) so I'm definitely looking forward to your next B+K centered fic. Coming from you it should be nothing short of awesome! I love any B+K or Blik story (if it puts him in good light, not bash fics), I just really love the fact you keep them, but especially Blik himself in such A+plus in-character! Looking forward to more fics, I will keep my eyes open! |
Irk SpleeHad first found it when it was half-finished, eh? Someone's stuck around for a while! XD Man, every once and a while I dig out notes and stuff from under my bed for that... it's such a distant memory for me. Ah, nostalgia. Still somewhat fond of it, which is more than I can say for other stuff I've written before it - it had its problems to be sure, but doesn't everything? I'm with you on the whole Blik + Katilda thing. I wasn't surprised about him being the second brother, honestly... I didn't really expect it from Waffle. He seems the type who'd pass off those fluttery feelings as intestinal distress and then go find something to chase/play with/eat. XD I'd like to point out that the main reason B + K is the most popular is because the only other canon couple is rather... awkward. I love Gordon + Kimberly dearly - heck, my avatar on several forums is the part in Unicorn Club where she kisses him (d'aww!), but you can't quite do as much with it. I still plan on trying something down the line, though. Writing mission - G + HK that isn't oogy! And I don't do bash fics. At all. Don't worry about that! There aren't any CS characters that I hate (well, OK, maybe the Chumps, but who seriously likes them except in an ironic love-to-hate way?), it's just that I find Blik and Gordon easier to write in-character... I mean no offense to Waffle, and he WILL have his limelight, but that's when I get more practice with him on the sidelines. Balance of pointless idiotic nonsequitirs, BALANCE... Well, that's enough from me for now. Thanks for being a fan, and I shall try my hardest not to disappoint in the future, whether I'm writing B + K, G + HK, Waffle-in-the-limelight, toying with my OCs, or anything else! Now if school would end. Is it June 4th yet? |
NekoGirl001Lol, well I'm glad to hear we feel the same about these couples! I actually had left the Catscratch fandom originally, for reasons between new episodes becoming scarcer as the weeks went by, & at the time not really that much happening on the fanfiction archive. But I've recently come back to it, & B+K has made it come back with a bang for me, lol! Yeah, I see whatcha mean with Waffle, it makes perfect sense. I just thought Blik just wouldn't fall in love, & I probably would've been right if "Katilda" & "Blikmail" hadn't been created & aired. He just never seemed the type for romance let alone anything more, lol. But believe you me, am I glad he did manage a cool couple like that! Now that I'm a couple supporting fanatic these days, it only makes me have him that much more as my fave. I just wish NickToons Network would air ALL the episodes, not just the first so many & Blimail. Yes, they DO air that one at least once, if not twice EVERY weekend! I finally have the whole of the episode, I almost never got the part where Blik's first sneaking by his brothers & Hovis during the first few seconds. But I got it all on Friday, lol. ^^ I'm glad your not one for fanfic writing that's bashing! I don't like the Chumpy Chumps anymore than the cats do, lol, so we're definitely on the same page here. But I hear you with Waffle, though in your fanfics he seems just as perfectly in character as Blik, Gordon, & everyone else that's from the show! In fact, you even portrayed Mrs. Cramdilly just the way I imagined her to be, Audry too! Its just a shame there's a slim-to-none chance of the cats getting any new episodes, it would've been beyond awesome to have more B+K straight from Doug himself, but its obvious they just arent getting anymore. At least we can rest assured that whatEVER ridiculous pairings some... "other" parts of the Catscratch fandom come up with, we know for a FACT that while Doug did these episodes, he likely held some sort of support for B+K himself, & probably G+HK in a sense too. Maybe not truely as a couple (cause, yaknow) but then again ya never know! ^^ I support G+HK mainly as a cat to its human type of love, (where they "pick" their favorite human from the house) but I love both ideas because their just adorable either way. ^_^ I'm just SO glad my favorite couple is canon, AND apparently super popular in the fandom! It obviously helps to get more Blik centered fanfics out here, & its just too awesome to see him being such in-character on that much of a majority of the couple's fanfiction! Normally in the average fandom I'm just lucky if I hit it off with a couple on its fan base. Lately its been a hit & miss, mostly miss with me. First Jimmy Neutron & Betty Quinlan from his series, (don't throw Cindy at me, I can barely stand her & I know the hidding feelings thing) then Dexter & Pashmina from Hamtaro (good grief, why STAN of the hamsters? Huh?! Just take a look at Hamtaro's section here & you'll see what I mean). But very thankfully I got super lucky with Blik & Katilda. Little curious about that with him a black cat & everything, lol. But I've always liked to imagine black cats meant GOOD luck, not bad. I heard about that when I was younger once, a rumor or something. Sure would be cool, & it might explain why Blik got so lucky in his fan base, lol! Only thing besides new episodes I would've liked is if they had included a couple Katilda toys from the McDonald's happy meal toys. I don't buy happy meals anymore obviously, but I buy the toys separate if I like the show their from. I didn't get all of CS's when they first had theirs, but I just bought the whole set (& a grinning Blik plush too ^^) from Ebay yesterday. Should be in the mail by two weeks. So yeah, I've come full circle already with these two, toys, reading every fanfic I can find, & if I ever could, find OR create a Blik & Katilda wallpaper. I just need copies of the two episodes, really. I have "Katilda", but its video didn't download for me, apparently. It seems to work for others though, here! http://www.megaupload.com/?d=CFNH1M5W On your G+HK avatar: aww! I'd love to have that screenshot if you could! I love that one. ^-^ Haha, June 4th? I'd be off starting June 6th, but I have 4 missed days to make up, so not till next Thursday for me, sadly. Least I've got me a new obsession that'll last me well after that time! lol Well I'll be looking forward to any B+K & / or Blik centered fanfics from you! He's just that cool to me (even with that personality, lol), & you capture him just perfectly. I wonder if he'd be impressed himself or not, lol. ^^ P.S.~ Do you have MSN or a messenger? I have all 3, but I use msn most often, then yahoo. If you want I can give my msn name, since I don't mind who knows it too much. ^^ |
