Haha, your talent for cliffhangers is starting to annoy me (j/k =P) But seriously, I can't wait for the next chapter!

Hoorah - the first poster on my forum! Congratulations - have a cookie ; )

Sorry about all the cliffhangers recently ; ) It wasn't something I'd planned from the beginning of the story (the whole kidnapping part) but it just sort of fell into place. And besides, I felt the story needed somekind of actiony element. A hundred pages just about Rikku and Gippal's relationship (as lovely as it is) isn't exactly exciting reading : )

Not sure when the next chapter will be out - I'm starting a new job tomorrow so writing time will be significantly less ... however, I have actually started the chapter and I also know exactly what's going to happen in it (which is always a good thing), so fingers crossed!

Bwahahaha... I am here. ^^

I must admit, I find it amusing that you hadn't originally planned for the kidnapping, since that's kind've like what I do: I write whatever pops into my head at the moment. Usually, it works out well enough.

Good luck with your job! Don't worry about slowing down in your writing because of it. It's your right to update once a year (though most people wouldn't be too happy about it) since it IS your story.

Interestingly, the kidnapping came out of an idea for another story that I had bouncing around and instead of starting yet ANOTHER fanfic, I decided to just put it into this one instead ; )

You'll be pleased to know I've already written part of the next chapter - I'm really on a roll at the moment!

You have amazing talent. I just finished reading "Rikku's Story" and what you have done with "Our Story". You also have amazing talent for cliffhangers :P I hope you find the time to write some more soon ^^

Wow - thank you so much! That's such a lovely thing to say : ) Apologies for all the cliffhangers - I honestly didn't mean to write so many, I just kept coming up with exciting ways to make sure all you readers came back from the next chapter ; )

Next chapter has just gone up (after much wrestling - stupid ff.net) and I've already started the one after that - so hopefully you won't have to wait as long.

Hey!

Thanks SO much for your lovely post - it's always great to hear what people are thinking about my writing, beyond the usual 'plz update soon' : ) And especially for one of my original reviewers ; ) I sincerely hope you continue to enjoy the rest of the story although I have to warn you, it's wrapping up within the next couple of chapters.

However ....

There will be a sequel - that I can absolutely promise : )

*SLAP!* Yes... you have just been slapped. Don't worry though. It means that you did a good job on the cliffhanger, and that I now hate you for it. I've pretty much put all of my comments in the review thingy, but what I DIDN'T say was that you are a super-groovy-tripindicular writer, and that I am really glad you are planning on a sequel, since Rikku is such a pimp character to write about. Gippal too, but he's not so much a pimp character as a cute 'n cuddly character. ^^

Anyway... so long, and thanks for all the fish

Bugger - for some strange reason (I blame long days full of many hours of work) I wrote in one of my previous replies that this story was ending in a few chapters, and that I've already planned a sequel.

Sorry to disappoint everyone but at this stage, there is no third story in the trilogy planned, mainly because I'm not even half way through the current story yet! (What I said about the sequel actually applies to another series of stories that I've been writing ...)

So anyway, thanks Healie for highlighting my mistake by commenting on it and I'm sorry to mislead everyone! Don't be sad though, because there's still plenty of Our Story to go and who knows, if I become inspired there may very well be a third story written : )
