And the whole idea of Kuzco having to live with a real family gives oportunity to delve into Kuzcos need and want for a real family....well thats how I like to percive it :D

I would love to hear how others feel about this and other aspects of Kuzco in this series.

I can't decide whether Malina even cares that Kuzco has a throne waiting for him, and isn't simply trying to decide whether she would want to get together with the guy on his own terms Empire or no Empire. which Kuzco doesn't quite relalize is the only kind of relationship he would want...

Yes...I Love how Kuzco can be so arrogant and selfish and be likable at the same time LOL

I have studdied the difference between how Kuzco his in the New Groove movie...compared to his behavoir in "new school" and really the main difference is that Kuzco was MEAN and HEARTLESS with his arrogant selfishness....whereas after he has learned his lesson from his first movie...he is still selfish and arrogant...just without the mean streak!

and Malina....yes...she defiantly has a mind of her own..I like that it mixes well with Kuzco's manipulative ways ;)

You've hit it. The ENS version of Kuzco still wants to aggrandize himself, but bringing other people down to do it is no longer a major part of his style.

And is more than a match for them. That she sees through him so readily must aggravate him no end -- and make her even more attractive to him.

so many I know hate Kuzco in ENS but I just love him that way! :) he can still be arrogant and lovable at the same time! LOL

By the way, because this irritates me, 'canon' is spelled thusly, not like the large artillery weapon. Spelling it 'cannon' alternatively irritates and amuses me.

There was one episode in the musical where Kuzco and Malina did kiss at the end of the movie and she said "Wow!" but she turn out to be faking it in her acting. I'm not too crazy about the pairing cause I used to have a crush on Kuzco when I was younger back when the movie came out in 2000, but it lasted two years for me. I don't have nothing againest Malina. She's a cool character, but I find it better if the two of them just stay friends cause you don't see Malina returning the feelings back unless Kuzco does something stupid to risk their relationship. I could care less if the two of them pair up or not, even if it simply annoys me a little.

She's in denial. She said she was acting because she didn't want to 'fess up. It happens all the time.

The way the series is going now, they probably won't get together at the end. Ah, well.

I remember Malina did mention in that one episode Girls Behaving Oddly, that she dreams of going to a different school (I forget the name of it) after she's done with Kuzco Acamedy, so unless she decides to become Kuzco's empress at the end of the series, it's posbbile that she may be going there instead after they finish graduting, but if I know Disney, they're probably gonna make the two hook up. They always do that. Ehhh...we'll have to see what happens.
