Talia shows up on Bruce's birthday with an offer - take a turn in the Lazarus Pits and join her philantropic efforts with new youthful vigor.

What do you think?

I think Ra's is great. I wonder when Talia sacrificed herself. As in, was it really Talia who invited Bruce to the pit? Or was Ra's the one who was in the whole thing, having sacrificed Talia before the episode started?

Actually, it was Ra's the entire time. Theoretically, the mind transfer occurred after the Near-Apocalypse of '09, which was presumably Ra's al Ghul's final defeat. Therefore, the "Talia" Terry met never existed; it was Ra's the entire time, like I said.

Okay.

Hey, remember the "Batman" actor during the "superstitious cowardly lot" parody? That wasn't the first time Bruce watched him. He was also in the Batman TAS episode "Beware the Creeper". That episode features a second guy exposed to the same chemicals that created Joker; Jack Rider. He was doing a news article on the creation of Joker, and there was a "Joker" actor and a "Batman" actor recreating the fight. The Batman actor had the same cloth cat-ears mask and chubby face as the Batman actor in the Superstitious Cowardly Lot parody.

BTW, the anchorman doing the article was Jack Rider, who became The Creeper, later seen in cameos in Justice League. 'Beware the Creeper' is one of the most humorous Batman:The Animated Series' episodes. Totally worth watching.

I knew he looked familiar! For some reason, though, I don't remember ever hearing about the Creeper until about a year ago. Btw, what does TAS stand for?
