Topic: Pairings
Since everybody seems to head here eventually I'll just give it a topic all its own. What is your favorite pairing? Your least favorite? Why?

My favorite is Yusuke/Kagome. I think they would understand each other, basically. They just click to me. they were both pulled into something that they never would have believed but neither would exchange it now. I don't think they'd have the quietest relationship, but they would accept each other.

Least favorite - I'm not sure. I'll get back to you on that.

The ones that click with me are yus/kag or kur/kag..it seems Great to me

I did not state my reason and why..Yusuke and Kagome...Hmm...Yes i have to agree!From normal teenagers to save the day people.Kurama and Kagome....I just got hooked...

Least Favorite Pairing: InuYasha/Yusuke (Sry. not a fan of yaoi)

Oddest Pairing: Kuwabara/Ayame (not here, different site... but really... Kuwabara and Ayame?)

You're probably gonna think I have mantal problems for this, but my all-time favorite pairing is Kuwabara/Kagome. Don't know why; I guess I just like the idea of them being together and besides, Kagome needs someone who will treat her right and not be a jackass or take 167 episodes and 4 movies to show it. Another fav is Hiei/Kagura. They just look good together! ^_^ Yusuke/Kagome is good too.

I can't think of any least favorite pairings right now...

my least favorite would have to be...i dont know

crazy pairing i dont know if there is one but a Sessh/Botan pairing would be funny and pretty crazy

Well most common are Kagame/everyone. I't gets annoying. But Don't get me wrong I don't dislike Kagome, but she gets so much fandom- it's hard to find anything good. My favorite? Sango/Hiei, yeah so fresh, huh?

Least? Kagome/Hiei- really, could she ever UNDERSTAND him? Sure she could be THERE for him, and comfort him, but theres no way that she'd ever UNDERSTAND him. People always laugh and say "Oh, well Opposites attract! That may or may not be true, but if they do a attract- there'd have to be Some common ground, or it wouldn't work out.

Sorry if I offended Kagome/Hiei fans- but in my deffence I gave a reason, I didn't just yell "Like OMFG!!! I so h8 Kag/Hieiis!!!11111!O" and I just sterotyped flamers-- I'm so Bad.

Agreed. I've never understood the Kag/Hiei pairing. It just doesn't click in my head (though lots of things don't click in my head...). Yusuke and Kagome make sense to me. They've both been sort of thrust from a quasi-normal teenage life into the position of World Savior whether they like it or not. It's good common ground. It makes sense. Sango and Hiei make sense--aside from the obvious sibling connection, more importantly there is this: They both know exactly what it means to lose. Warriors to the heart, I can definitely see kindred spirits, there and a connection not easily broken. Though building it in the first place could prove...explosive.

Youko/Kagome/Kuronoe. Don't ask, seriously. XD My friends are already holding intervention meetings for my lost morales (I was the only one at the movie theater cheering Johnny on in "Walk the Line"... I claim writing from Youko's POV for so long has corrupted me). I like this pairing alot partly because I don't want to see anyone come between Kuronue and his highness Youko and partly because I read a fanfic with this pairing once and it really left an impression on me on how well it could work. Kagome has a big heart too and I'm sure those two handsome devils would have no problem convincing her. (~_^) Hiei/Sango is also an awesome pairing, because they're just right for each other. Somehow. In fact, I haven't come across a pairing I haven't liked yet. That's just goes to show what an awesome crossover this is!

Hmm... favorite pairing? Hiei/Kagome, all the way.

Hiei:

-Untrusting

-Evil in certain circumstances

-Dark

-Alone/Lonely

Kagome:

-Dangerously trusting

-Pure

-Etc..

It's also not just the fact that opposites attract - they've both lost in their lives (Hiei more than Kagome) and for that reason, they would be able to relate, even though it would be with different views. They're both very powerful people, strong through all events, always victorious in at least one way. I personally think that Kagome would be one of the people that would help Hiei open up some to the world - at least more so than Yusuke and the rest of them have - and Hiei, once he found her worthy, would be even more protective of her than Inuyasha or anyone else - he knows what it's like to be alone (for his entire life - Inuyasha at least kind of had Kikyo). That, and their arguments would be very intersting to listen to.

Least Favorite Pairing(s)?

Hiei/Botan -- He would kill her. Multiple times.

Anything incestual... yaoi (shonen-ai is tolerable in ~some~ cases)... or yuri.

UM WELL i like yusxkag and i joined the yahoo groups if yusxkag but i also like kurxkag but my least fav. pairing is kagxhiei i WILL read ir if it is very good but most likely i won't read hieixkag just doesm't seem right.

LOL! I love Kuwabara/Kagome too! I agree that Kuwabara is the right guy for her, because he would ALWAYS be there for her and would give her his utmost loyalty. He also ENJOYS saving people and helping out the ones he loves, unlike Inuyasha who tends to see her as a burden (though sometimes it's a disguise to show that he was worried). So don't think you're crazy just for liking a very, very rare couple! ^^

hmm, my fav pairing... yeah, it would be yus/kag and kur/kag... i like yusuke's attitude, and i adore kurama's foxy ears!

oh, and you cant forget hiei/sango! those relationships tend to be a little too hot.

pairings i dont like...kawabara/kagome. those...are kinda wierd, wouldnt you say?

I usually like more strange crossovers (Of topic I wanna se Kurama get together with Kazuki from Get backers....anyhow)

I recently dicovered that I like KuraKag, somehow the pairing seemed to flow, I could see how it would work out very well.

I can see what SangoHiei would base on. These two are the most used YYHInu crossover pariings after all. *for a sugestion* KohakuYukina?

Somehow had the idea of of KikyouBotan.........that's actually pretty amusing since Kikyou is dead and Botan is death; and THAT is opposit attracts *laughs a bit* .....Anyway I'd actually like to see something like that if anyone would write it. ^^;

I like Kagome with any of the Yu Yu Hakusho boys, but by far my favorite is Hiei/Kagome. It's difficult to set up a plot in which this could be believable, but there are some fics that can do it. And I bow to them.

Now my least favorite? Hm... I've seen some Yukina/Inuyasha and Botan/Inuyasha stuff. I don't like this idea. I have nothing against the characters, but I just can't seem to get interested in a story that's not centered around Kagome. -shrugs- Go figure.
