Didn't I say everyone would feel sorry for Matty?! *laughs* Before I say anything else, RKX and Miss. A, your combined review was hilarious! You wouldn't believe how much you guys had me laughing after I read it! Now, that is the question, though, isn't it? Why didn't Gabrielmon tell the others about Lucemon? Well, part of that will be revealed in an eventual chapter that will, for the first time in the story, actually be in Gabrielmon's POV. I won't say any more than that, but in my head the chapter sounds good!

Now, I was on vacation last week so sorry to everyone about no update, but I will be updating this week. The chapter is in Mickey's POV and then the chapter after that we get to Sam and what's happening at the Ichijouji house.

Also, for all you Daikara fans, I will let you know that the next time they go to the Digital World, the road to the top of Infinity Mountain will be filled with major Daikara. And I mean lots, you'll love it.

Now, I just finished writing chapter 164 out on paper, and it's actually one of my favorite chapters to date so far, and because I love it so much, I'm going to give you all a little preview, so here it is.

"DarkAngelicmon, do you remember the promise I made to you?" the Ruler of Darkness asked softly, kneeling in front of him and gazing intently into his emerald green eyes.

DarkAngelicmon nodded slowly and whispered, "Power. You promised to grant me incredible power if I could successfully fulfill all of your orders."

"Yes, power....the power to rule the Digital World at my side. The power...to become a mega."

"A.....mega....."

And the conversation gets much more interesting after that....

Haha, Daikara. I thought of that too. I love your story. Can't wait for the Daikara moments. I usually hate OC, just because I don't really understand/know them well. But I honestly feel like I know them. I was reluctant to read it, but I am SO glad I did. (this is more like a review, lol) I'll ask a question when I think of one. O.o

By the way, I love how you portray the friendship. You keep the original DD in character. Love your story! :]

Thanks for the compliments, Skipper, I'm glad you like it! Oh yes, and I know I disappeared (again) but this time it was computer problems. I plan to update again this week and yes I do want to get back to one chapter a week, which I plan to do. So, typing up new chapter right....now.

Well, so I lied again. Since I'm going to be really busy the next two weeks it'll be a while before another update comes along, but...because I felt so bad I posted another chapter today! Enjoy!

Hello, hello everyone! Yes, I am here and hopefully I can start posting regularly again! It's been a weird month overall for me, but I plan to start working on typing my next chapter this week, so hopefully I will post it this week! Y'know, I hate my computer. For some reason it stopped sending me emails about forum posts, and about FTFOD updates! Luckily I've had Miss A. for the latter.

But AAAAHHH! Abduction of Sam! I agree, NO! NO NO NO! *worries*

*laughs* Yes, the Abduction of Sam, but really that could mean anythiing. *winks* Well, I hoping to start my next chapter this week. It's a little longer than some I've done recently so it may take a while, but I hope to get it up by the end of the week. It focuses a lot on DarkAngelicmon and there are a lot of theories about what exactly he is actually trying to accomplish. As for being abducted, Sam's not really the one we need to worry about!

Well, I finally posted my new chapter so here's just a little note about what's to come. I will tell you that the next chapter will focus on the conversation between Sam and Mickey. The one after that will concentrate on Miya and Ken. I know a lot of you are probably anxious for the story to move forward (to the actually climbing Infinity Mountain part and more action) and I promise we'll get there sooner than you think. I have a bad habit of dragging things out (as you all may have noticed) but we will get there in the end and when it comes I hope you will all like it. And yes Takara and Daichi will be sharing the spotlight then. Sam will have to wait around in the back for bit!

Good, I've been getting a little tired of Sam actually. There's only so many chapters in a row where all they do is talk that I can take. I am able to go through the entire Council of Elrond with open eyes every time I read it, every time Gennai speaks or there is a huge conversation relating information vital to the development of the story I read with passion, but continuous, tedious, drawn-out bits about people's relationships kills me until I just want a bit of action and romance thrown in there to spice it up a little.

Nah, you're not. I'm totally with you there. It's the emotionally trying talky chapters that really get to me. I mean, I love the action - the 40's chapters are still my favorites - but there's something that gets to me even more with the talking.

However, you give me some talking amidst the action - and NOW we're talking!

I actually like the talking and the action about equally. I like trying to figure out what is going on before it is mentioned in the story. And reading the action sections is great.

One idea for the 'Abduction of Sam' is Dai and his team abducting Sam. It is possible. It could also be one of the villians abducting him, but it is more positive to think that the Digidestined are. :)

.......How do you guys figure out what I'm planning next in my story so easily?! I have to agree though with liking both action and the talking and even better when they're together (like Miss A. said!) which is why I don't want to ignore either one of the two.

Which reminds me, I've completed up to chapter 170 and although I have quite a few of them named (as I've posted) I still need some titles for a couple of them.

Also, since I've gotten quite a few PM messages with questions and I tend to have a bad habit of neglecting my e-mail at times, I thought I'd answer them here, so... (Of course, I've simplified them into short quick questions, so they're obviously not in their original form)

Question: Are Angelicmon and DarkAngelicmon ever going to fight one on one in a duel?

Answer: Yes, but when and where that will happen I'll leave up to your imagination.

Question: Are Persiamon and Phelesmon ever going to play more of a role in the story?

Answer: *laughs* Guards they may be, but that doesn't mean they can't fight. They do have a purpose other than just loitering around the Ruler of Darkness!

Question: Is the Ruler of Darkness GrandDracmon?

Answer: I believe I've answered this one before and the answer is no. Though....GrandDracmon does have a connection to the story.

Question: Mega forms. How many are we going to see?

Answer: At this point in time I would say quite a few.

Question: Since your story has sprouted several oneshots from other writers, would you be upset if someone were to write a shonen ai story using any of your characters?

Answer: No. Although their canon relationships are beginning to take shape, I would not mind if they were paired with someone else no matter the sex of their partner, but...there are some things I would object to, which would be:

1: I would object to Mickey and Matty being paired together or any other siblings. I'm just not fond of those stories, but everyone else is fair game.

2: Keep it releatively clean, including hetero pairings.

Question: Are Piximon and the others going to be appearing back in the story?

Answer: Yes, perodically from time to time.

Question: Are you going to incorporate Sam (Ken's brother) into the story?

Answer: You'll just have to wait and see.

Question: What about Tal and his friends? Are we ever going to see them?

Answer: I believe so, as I've said in the Original Characters Thread, though whether or not they will meet them in person I have not yet decided.

Question: Will we see Omnimon?

Answer: Most likely.

Question: Are Davis and the others ever going to DNA digivolve?

Answer: Depends if Gatomon will give up her tail ring, but I'm sure Gennai will manage it!

Question: Will Sam become another Digimon Emperor?

Answer: No.

Question: You've mentioned the Demon Lords. Will they be in your story other than just Lucemon?

Answer: Good of you to remember, but that still remains to be seen. At least to you guys!

Question: Are Ami and the other kids going to become Digidestined?

Answer: I don't know. Are they?

Question: Will DarkAngelicmon and Lucemon ever meet?

Answer: In order for the story to progress they're going to have to sooner or later.

Question: What will happen to Matty if Dai and Ryoko become best friends? I thought Matty was Dai's best friend.

Answer: Good question. It will all depend on Dai.

Question: Why is Sam acting so out of character concerning Ken? From the person you made him out to be at the beginning of the story, he should have forgiven Ken relatively easily. (This one I've had more than once) How can he go from being kind and understanding to a total brat?

Answer: Is he really, though? I mean, is he really out of character? On the surface it appears he hates Ken for being the Emperor, but deep down inside you may be surprised at what is really upsetting Sam the most. The root of the problem may not be what it appears to be.

Question: Will Luciamon ever come back?

Answer: If she does, it won't be any time soon.

Question: Will DarkAngelicmon ever gain a new form?

Answer: Poor Matty, and poor Mickey, too...
