Well, anyway, my 'Net name is Dark Qiviut, and I'm a twenty-year-old male American. Digimon is my most-favorite anime, as it's responsible for me becoming part of the anime fandom. I'm not a big video gamer, but ever since I was a kid, I'm a HUGE fan the Sonic series (and still do despite the controversy of the 4Kids VAs, "Shadow the Hedgehog" and "Sonic Next-Gen"). Usually, I prefer anime more than the manga because when I read the mangas, they feel very fast and jumpy (i.e.: Cardcaptor Sakura). The only time I like the manga version more than the anime is Inuyasha.

Other anime I enjoy are Cardcaptor Sakura, Yu-Gi-Oh/GX (preferably the 4Kids dub), and Sonic X (Japanese originals). And, of course, I'm another Harry Potter fan. :P

As for my favorite Digimon characters, I've got a few, but my most-favorite is Davis Motomiya.

The title of my favorite anime is split down the middle between Vision of Escaflowne and Cowboy Bebop. Amazing plots and stellar animation, though you might have to get used to the style used in Escaflowne. Favorite movies are Snatch, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Amelie. Favorite books are the Hitchhiker's Guide "trilogy."

The other fandoms I've been involved in in the past have been Cardcaptor Sakura, Sailor Moon, Harry Potter, Teen Titans (teehee) and more recently Fire Emblem.

I can't pin down a list of ten favorite characters in Digimon, but I will tell you that I am secretly (or not so secretly) a fangirl of Jyou, and I also have quite the soft spot for Ryo, gary stu though he may be.

My 'net-name is Ann (short for AshitaNoNatsu), and i guess i'd answer to Anny (yes, a "y" not an "ie"). i'm a high school senior and i hail from the lovely Golden State, California.

my one true anime love is digimon. i never really grew out of that show, but i basically stopped watching about half-way through the third season (1. i had no time to watch tv anymore and 2. i didnt really find the storyline engaging... but that's just me), until i discovered YouTube. over the years, i have watched and enjoyed: Yu-Gi-Oh!, Avatar, Teen Titans, Static Shock, and CCS, but thats basically the end of my very short list...

i also like to draw and read for fun... i have a FTFOD pic posted on my xanga, which is linked to in the fan art section....

I hated Tamers as a kid because in making Tai and the gang a TV Show in a TV Show, they were almost...double not real, if you know what I mean. There also wasn't a new enemy or Digivolution every single episode like I was used to, and back then, it was ALL about the action. Now Tamers is my fave, and all the others are pretty much tied, though each has points about them that I like more than other seasons.

Other shows I like are...well, not much really. I like Heroes, but I've only seen the first season on DVD, and never seen it on TV itself. I half follow Naruto. I just spent two weekends watching EVERY LAST BIT of Gundam Seed and Gundam Seed Destiny, so I'm having a hard time getting the ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam out of my head (and for others who watch it, yes, i know "Gundam" isnt really part of Freedom's name, its for people who are not as informed as us :P).

Fave characters...um, Takato...Tai was my hero as a kid, I loved TK and Kari in 02 merely because they were from the old team (i love returning characters in any sort of sequel. Like Kira and Athrun in Seed Destiny :P). I absolutely LOVE the Savers team as a whole, because they remind me of my fave trio, and later team of 4 (whatever thats called), ever, the SRX team of Super Robot Wars. They each have a) a brown haired knucklehead (Masaru, Ryusei), b) a rich blond of european descent (they even introduce themselves the same way! Touma H. Norstein. Raidiese F. Branstein), c) an female who's older than the others, been on the team longer, and makes failed attempts to keep the males from fighting (Yoshino, Aya), and finally d) a younger member, possibly not even in teens yet, who was lost long ago and starts off as an enemy (Ikuto, Mai).

Hello! I'm new to the Digimon section, so I thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Madi, I'm 16, and a junior in high school. I live in California (sadly not the California everyone sees on TV - it's all dreary out right now :( ). I watched Digimon as a kid and recently rewatched it on youtube. I love the characters (not so much the Digimon aspect of it, which probably makes absolutely no sense since the title of the show is, in fact, Digimon). I don't watch any other animes/read any mangas, but my favorite shows are The Office, Ugly Betty, Harry Potter, and Lost. There is no way I could condense my favorite movies into a list, so I won't even try. :)

My favorite Digimon characters... well, that's a hard one. I like almost all of them for various reasons. I guess my favorite would have to be Kari - she was my fave when I was 10. But I really like T.K., Matt, Tai, Sora, Mimi, Joe, Davis, Izzy ... all from season 1 and Davis. I don't know why, but Yolei, Ken, and Cody just bug me. Like I said before, I'm not a fan of the Digimon, but I guess my fave one would be Gatomon (sp?). I haven't watched any DM seasons beyond 2.

I love writing and have been doing it since I was really young. I would love to pursue a professional writing career, but I don't think I'm good enough. Oh well, we'll see. I'm writing a DM fic that I'm in love with right now - it isn't posted because I'm still on chapter 2 but hopefully some of you will check it out when it's up. :)

We find it quite ironic that they are releasing it so close to the Harry Potter release date especially when the two are competing for the same audience!!

I say they should release Diaboromon Strikes Back in North America, and to bring the boxed dvd sets of Digimon, as they are not available in North America!

Hey there, hi there, ho there, I am Shadowincarnants a.k.a. Ryos, a.k.a. whatever-the-hell-I-call-myself-in-my-stories. My real name's...well, I'm not going to say what it is, but I'll just say that in the early 90s', about 10 million other parents had the same idea as mine (that they would name me what I'm called because it wasn't popular at the time) and now it's one of the most overused names in America. I'm 17, live in the United States, and I'm a guy, unlike my avatar seems to suggest to people.

Anywho, I basically came to fanfiction.net with the purpose of killing off my old addiction, and I must say it worked...for the most part. I'm also a member of the Golden Sun (ergo my avatar) and Harry Potter communities, with one story in the latter. Though I must say that the fact of my second chapter having over 6,000 words might've turned readers off.....oh well. But right now, I'm working on a story for Digimon, which could be epic if I write it well enough. I could even get it up tonight (well, tomorrow morning, technically) if I work fast. 'lo all. my net name is living being. i am from the US, im a 16 year old junior, or will be in two months. digimon is one of my absolute favs. i remember fighting tooth and nail to watch the show before doing my homework. i was devoted to the show. that is, untill directTv was canseled...so i never saw much of season 2 or 3. but i saw most of season 4 on the screen. i then found that entire seasons were on youtube, and i started from the begingin again(i was disappointed at how many[or should i say 'little'] episodes were in season 1, but then again i watched the whole season in a few days, not over a year) because of this discuvery, i have seen all of seasons 1 and 3, most of 2, as well as almost all of naruto(the jap version, so im near the end), all of tenchi muyo(cant really tell if it was ment for guys or girls, but i enjoyed it.)and some of tenchi universe., as well as about half of rouni kenshin, and some inyuyasha....not exactly well versed, but i have some knowlegde...

was a fan of the harry potter series, untill jk tiped the evil scale to far....(for those religious like me, you will know(dumbledore)

Greetings, salutations; hail to you and great fanfare. In other words: Hello! As could probably could have guessed on your own, my preferred net handle is Captain "Nice" Hardrive. If that is too verbose for you, I also answer to CNH, HD, Captain, Cpt, Cap, Cappy or any other such similar nickname which you might prefer. I'm a 19 year-old United States resident, and am a self-supposed literary critic. Of course, I'm just lazy and narcissistic enough to have refrained from writing any fan fiction myself. I grew up watching the original series, and found it kind of nifty. In hindsight, a lot of the writing was rather trite, but it was good, brainless Saturday-morning fun. My interest in the franchise probably would've faded to utter indifference (and I still only consider myself a casual fan) had it not been for the franchise's third season, Digimon Tamers, which I hold in high personal regard. Although some people, understandably, don't like that season for its various departures from the original, I am of the personal opinion that the decision to recruit Chiaki J Konaka was a stroke of inspired genius. In many ways, I believe that the darker concepts he introduced held the franchise together, retaining the interest of the maturing fan-base while the future generation of viewers grew old enough to take interest in the shows that would follow. As for favorite characters, I wouldn't presume to list them in hierarchy of ascension, although they are definitely categorized into those I like, those I really like, those I am indifferent to, those I don't like, and those I outright revile. If pressured to say who my all-time favorite character is, I'd have to put my money on Mitsuo Yamaki. He really was the perfect anti-hero, and a truly compelling antagonist. Villains you can sympathize with are hard to come by, much less those whose 'redemption' is achieved in a manner that avoids turning them into complete hams. Confident, ambitious, and wholly convinced what he's doing is right, this shadowy government agent holds reserves my most exclusive respect. But I'm sure you've heard enough of my ranting. Well you made a good first impression here, so I wouldn't worry about it. I'm totally with you on Tamers, its awesome, even if way back in the day I hated it for departing so much from the original. That's different now :P

And Yamaki is rather awesome, isn't he?
