Topic: Favorite Characters

Ok, so it's not a couples thing, but are your favorite characters? Anyone at all?

VII- Vincent- He like completely rocks. Not my favorite, but Tifa and Yuffie are ok too. Yuffie makes me laugh.

Dirge of Cerberus- Vincent all the way. Shelke is an Ok character along with Yuffie. God, she's hilarious.

VIII-Squall is the absolute best. He is sooooooo hot!!!! Selphie and Rinoa are cool too. But Irvine is just an annoying perv!!!!

IX- Not a favorite there.

X-Rikku I like the funny perky characters can you tell?

X-2: Paine this time.

XII: Penelo. She's a sweet girl.

Kingdom Hearts: I like Leon and Kairi a lot. Riku is like so awesome too.

Kingdom Hearts COM: Namine is the best. The others are all illusions and not really characters.

Kingdom Hearts II: Roxas, Leon, and Kairi. Namine annoyed the hell out of me in this one.

I like lotsa people, can you tell? Next topic is Hated. =)

Pre-VI: (this is based on KH) Setzer. Lol!

VII/AC/DOC: Vincent! YAY! He ranks No. 2 out of all my fave FF characters.

VIII: Rinoa! She annoyed me the first time I played but the 2nd time she grew on me! She ranks No. 7 overall.

IX: Kuja! My favourite villain! AND he ranks No. 1 overall! Squeeeeeeee!

X/X-2: Auron! WAII! He ranks No. 3 overall! The livin' dead! Whooaa!

(I've not played XII yet)

KH: Riku.

KHCOM: Riku. Again.

KH2: This time it's Saïx. Am I, like, his only fan girl!?

Favourite Hero: Zidane. Ranking No. 4 out of all FF characters.

Favourite Heroine: Already said, Rinoa!

Favourite Villain: Already said... Again... Kuja!

You like Saix? I'm not a fan of him, thought he was annoying. I liked Demyx. He as so HOT! Ummmm.

Favorite hero: Squall

Favorite heroine: Probably Rinoa, but Yuna is up there too.

Favorite villian: Sephorith

VII: Vincent and Sephiroth.

VIII: Rinoa, Squall and Quistis.

IX: Vivi.

X: Auron and Rikku.

KH, II and Chain of Memories: Sora, Riku and Cloud.

DoC: Shalua and Reeve

Agreed that it's a lot easier. I found this easier than the coupling. Hehe. Agree with some, but not with others. I see.

Final Fantasy VII- Vincent, Sephiroth, Tifa, and Barret.

Final Fantasy VIII- Squall and Seifer

Final Fantasy IX- Moving on

Final Fantasy X- Auron

Kingdom Hearts II- Saix

I don't entirely agree with your choices, but that's ok. Barret was annoying as hell. Ha. But not as annoying at Cait Sith. Ewww

Well besides Baret from being somewhat annoying, The reason he is one of my favorite character in FF VII is because he is black. A black leader of a resitance group. And the last time I check, I don't remember any other black people in any other final fantasy game. Besides, he is badass with that machinegun on his arm. But that is just my opinon.

Favorite characters, eh? Well, haven't played I/II in forever, and haven't played III-VI at all, so I'll have to leave those out:

FFVII: Sephiroth, Rufus, Zack, Jenova (Jenova. Obsession. Don't ask).

- CC: Genesis and Angeal.

- BC: Elfe, without a doubt.

- AC: Sephiroth, Kadaj, Cloud.

- DoC: Weiss, Nero, Rosso, Restrictor.

FFVIII: Squall, Seifer, Ultimecia.

FFIX: Kuja, Kuja, Kuja, Kuja, and Kuja. Did I mention Kuja?

FFX/X-2: Tidus, Yuna, Shuyin.

FFXII: Gabranth, Ashe, Balthier.

Kingdom Hearts: Ansem.

Kingdom Hearts CoM: Zexion, Larxene.

Kingdom Hearts RECoM: Marluxia, Zexion, Larxene.

Kingdom Hearts II: Sora, Axel, Roxas, Xemnas (coughMansexcough).

Kingdom Hearts II FM+: Terra, Ven, Aqua, and TBM (The Bald Man).

Overall Favorite Hero: Cloud or Zack.

Overall Favorite Villain: Jenova. But freaky obsessions aside, Sephiroth or Genesis.

One question, who's the restrictor? I don't think I saw any one by the name of that when I played Dirge of Cerberus.

Restrictor (Actually, just one of several "Restrictors" that compose the 14th SOLDIER Unit "Lost Force") wasn't in the English DoC. He was a character in the story portion of the Japanese-only online part of the game. You can find most of the scenes on YouTube. Just search for "DoC Online", and there should be some subtitled videos by LordXanathos. They're not half bad. They tell you more about the Colored Tsviets (Weiss, Nero, Rosso, Azul, Shelke, and another online-only Tsviet named Argento), and basically just show you what was happening in Deep Ground just before the game. It also has a few fight scenes that are pretty good.

I wish I could have played all of the 7 things. Only DoC, VII and Advent Children. Well watched Advent Children. I don't know how to do the rest. Clueless me!

hm...I have a lot of favorites ^^ but it's almost always...or always? :x the main character...^^ I'll write them down anyway! yay! Procrastinating!

VII: Cloud- Because...he's cloud for goodness sake ;D he's so deep and angsty...and I'm a superficial ** and he's hot =| I like Yuffie too (= she's so annoying it's cute =D

VIII: Squall- about the same reasons for which cloud is my favorite^^ I think there wasn't anybody else I liked that much...they were all ok...except for...ah no I will save that for the loathe-thread (=

IX: Zidane- because he's not as emo as the rest of all the other final fantasy heros...<_<

X: nobody =| maybe tidus...but then again not...no he's not ^^

X-2: didn't play that one )=

XII: didn't play that one either T_T

Kingdom Hearts: I HAVE IT LYING RIGHT NEXT TO ME BUT I NEVER GOT AROUND TO PLAY IT! WAH! )=

Kingdom Hearts com: too expensive -_-

Kingdom Hearts II: ...Roxas, Kairi and Sora =| I sure know how to set priorities...first play the second part to spoil the first and then in three years after I eventually forgot everything about FF and KH I will start playing part one

they have a 13!!!???? oh well. maybe you never played # 3 (6) because it is on the system SNES and is a very old game. but it is now avalible on gameboy advance

Actually, there are several "Final Fantasy XIII" games. It's part of the "Fabula Nova Crystallis: Final Fantasy XIII" (Meaning "New Tale of the Crystal") compilation. So far, the games we know of are FFXIII, FF Versus XIII, and FF Agito XIII. It's also possible that another FFXIII game entitled "FF Haeresis XIII" is in the works, seeing as the image illustrator/logo designer for FNC produced a logo for it. However, there hasn't been any other information on it so far.

To go even further on exactly how long/large the FNC project might be, SE has called the FFVII Compilation a "50 billion yen project" and that it would continue through FFVII's twentieth anniversary (2017). They then said that FNC was a "100 billion yen project". Now, FFVII's compilation consists of several games, a CGI movie, a short single-episode anime, and two novels (This is excluding things like the Ultimania Omega guides). It also only has between six and seven years left for the twentieth anniversary. If FFXIII is a "100 billion yen project" while FFVII is a "50 billion yen project", then one can only imagine how big FNC going to be.

...So yeah, to make it short, there is a Final Fantasy XIII.
